Best Hotels in Nara

Very excellent location with prefect services ,the best point is their free lounge for wines & Sake was amazing

Although the hotel is a bit old, it's very well-maintained. The location is excellent, right outside the JR station, making it super convenient to go feed the deer at Nara Park

Restaurants, shops, and buses are just outside, and major sights like Nara Park are within walking distance

Breakfast is plentiful, but it can get crowded, so it's best to go early. The drink bar offers local sake, as well as red and white wine. It's a popular spot, with many companies holding year-end parties here

The location is also excellent, right above the JR station

Extremely satisfied! The room discount was fantastic. The location is convenient, the room is spacious, and the facilities are complete, including a laundry room, a bathhouse, and complimentary capsule coffee.

This hotel is great! It's right by JR Nara Station, yet the soundproofing is excellent. The staff are really friendly and even gave me a free face mask. It's also super close to Nara Park, just a short walk away

You can also catch a bus right outside the hotel to Nara Park. The hotel offers many optional services, showing great thoughtfulness. The onsen (hot spring) experience was generally good

The hairdryer was a Refa, and it was fantastic! The best part was definitely the free happy hour at the restaurant in the evenings

They even provided sleep aids like different pillows and sleep supplements. My room was quite spacious for one person, though the facilities were relatively simple

There was a wide variety of drinks available, and many guests brought food from the convenience store to enjoy with their drinks

The keyless entry with a password lock on the door was great as it meant I didn't need to carry a room card

Excellent as always! I used to stay at the onsen hotel on the west side of JR Nara Station, but this time I tried On-yado Nono on the east side. The service standards are consistently high

I originally wanted to book a designer B&B, but after booking it, I chose this hotel instead. I've stayed at Dormy Inn hotels in Hokkaido and Tokyo before and had good impressions of them

Booked this through Ctrip's 919 sale, got it for just over 400 RMB a night! While most hotels in the Kansai region come with hot springs, this one's bath is particularly special and doesn't feel stuffy (those who've stayed elsewhere will know what I mean, haha)

The noodle bar, where you can grab a late-night ramen, also doubles as a cozy spot for a coffee during the day – it's incredibly relaxing. It's super convenient for getting around anywhere on the JR line

This Nara location is visible right from the train station. The downsides are that it can be a bit noisy when trains pass by, and a 1. 4-meter bed is a bit tight for three people

The advantages are that the lobby smells pleasant, the hot spring facilities are complete with an outdoor bath, and the breakfast is incredibly rich with seafood rice

very clean and staff very nice and warm welcome. also they share some best food restaurant to us. will come back next time.

Excellent new hotel Stylish and very comfortable International but with a touch of Japan and Nara

The best hotel in Nara. Breakfast was great. Room was great. Service was gret.

should consider this the best hotel around in nara town. nice environment, and nice service. the breakfsst varieties could have been a little bit more, and that would be wonderful.

It was great for a short stay of 2-3 days but would be challenging for a longer stay as it does not have self-service laundry. It was inconvenient to drive 10 minutes to a laundry shop

The hotel facilities are very new, and the design is clean and refreshing. The location is a bit secluded, but they offer a shuttle bus service.

Right next to Nara Station and Kintetsu Nara Station, this hotel boasts a convenient location and excellent value for money. The room is typical of a Japanese business hotel – perfectly fine for a stay

The hotel is not far from Nara station. It is comfortable for family trip. And the location is good, it has a convenient store and a lot of restaurants nearby. The breakfast set is very good

I recommend to order Japanese food , it is tasty

Convenient location, and the hotel room was very clean and tidy, with a good amount of space. Pretty good!

Located a 6-8 minute walk from Nara Station, the hotel is right on a main street. It's surrounded by plenty of shops, making it incredibly convenient for both shopping and dining

The surrounding area is incredibly convenient for dining, drinking, and shopping. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay

Every aspect was perfect. Top service and best staff, plus generous breakfast. Highly recommended!

Pretty good, but a bit far from Nara Park.

Everything was excellent! This is our second visit this year, and the hot spring pools were fantastic as well.

The hotel is quite old, and my room on a low floor felt a bit dim. The hotel's attached hot spring was pretty good, with three pools and a dry sauna. Parking at the hotel costs 500 RMB.

Great spa facility, they have a hyperbaric oxygen chamber and a brilliant sauna with cold pool, you can call in anytime and pay as you go

Beautiful lobby， but ugly ceiling. need renovation

In the evenings, guests can also enjoy a complimentary public bath. Overall, it offers excellent value for money

Another stay here, and it's still conveniently located and clean.

Its location is very convenient (next to the Jr Nara station). There are many restaurants, convenient stores, Aeon …

However, she then backtracked, stating the new room would need cleaning, and refused the room change. Eventually, my father, seeing how much time was being wasted, also went downstairs to sort things out

Given how tired we were from our travels, and knowing that triple rooms usually provide three duvets, I sent my son down to the front desk to ask for an extra one. This ordeal took nearly an hour

A female staff member at the front desk was adamant that two duvets were perfectly sufficient for three people. She insisted that an additional duvet would incur an extra charge

The off-season rates offered excellent value for money, making it a superb choice for anyone visiting Kobe

A bus stop for Nara Park is conveniently located right downstairs. The breakfast spread was excellent; I particularly recommend the cold noodles for their delightful chewiness

good location and room is clean and tidy. Also, it was near the museum that I wanted to go.

Really close to JR rail station, clean and tidy hotel, excellent showers facilities.

This is one of my favorite hotels. It boasts a stylish design and is directly accessible from the JR line. Despite its proximity to the station, the soundproofing is superb

The rooms were spotless, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The hotel is located right in Meriken Park, making it the perfect spot to enjoy the sea view

Well-located hotel, just 5 minutes' walk from JR Nara Station and 30 minutes to Nara Park, with convenient Kohyo supermarket access. Unique breakfast until 9:30 a

With a very convenient location, reasonable prices, and friendly staff, I think this place is definitely worth using

great location next to the JR station complimentary breakfast was nice

Great hotel. Across the street from Nara JR Station. Room was spacious by Japanese standards. Good complimentary breakfast too. Very happy.

The staff member was very helpful and showed me the new room, for which I'm very grateful. I slept very well on the last night. The hotel is super close to Nara Station, making transportation incredibly convenient

Very friendly and helpful staff. We were able to leave our luggage after checking in and enjoy coffee and tea when we picked it up in the evening. Clean and well-kept rooms.

This is by far the best hotel of this caliber we've stayed in (we haven't stayed in many, only 5, but still). The room had all the standard amenities you'd expect (plus natural soap and shampoo, which was a nice touch)

As always, the hotel staff provided excellent service: they provided a map and explained everything. The hotel is very conveniently located, with easy access to the train station, shopping streets, and the deer park

The breakfast buffet was excellent, and there were unlimited drinks, which unfortunately were closed in the evening. The room was decent, but the toilet and shower were a minor drawback

The service was excellent; the staff spoke Chinese. The front desk offered a variety of complimentary toiletries and small wellness products to help relieve fatigue

There's also a supermarket with ready-made food right by the station. All in all, it's an excellent hotel; it's a shame we only stayed for one night

The breakfast was typical Japanese fare, not ideal for a vegetarian, but they did have 100% juice from a dispenser. There was a happy hour from 5 to 9 with a wide selection of unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks

All hotel staff and employees will greet and welcome guests with warmth and hospitality; the location is also excellent, with convenient transportation, and it is easy to reach scenic spots or the city center by car.

Besides 7-Eleven, there's also a Hankyu Izumiya supermarket a few hundred meters south of the hotel, with an even wider selection of goods, including food

The complimentary breakfast had a good selection and was quite delicious, and the complimentary cocktail bar in the evening was also fantastic

Although there aren't as many restaurants near the subway stations as near Kintetsu Nara and Yamato-Saidaiji stations, there are still about ten. There's a 7-Eleven downstairs with a wide variety of food options

While Shin-Omiya Station isn't a major station, it stops at almost all trains to Osaka, Kobe, and Kyoto, except for the limited express trains which require an extra fare

The hotel also offers a buffet of drinks and coffee from 6 PM to 8 PM, and there's a microwave available, so I saw many guests having a simple dinner in the restaurant

When booking this place I never expected this place to be that good. The service was great, rooms were clean and spacious enough, and they also had great amenities. On top of that, the location was perfect

Excellent value for money! The location is superb, just a five-minute walk from the JR Nara Station East Exit. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. I really loved it!

During our trip in Japan, Centurion Nara was the best accommodation place. English speaking workers, clean rooms and services are great 🌟 10/10

Nice hotel! The staff very friendly and kind. There’s free sand foot bath at the lobby for the hotel customer to rest their tired legs after whole day

Great hotel. Quiet room pretty spacious by Japanese standards. Super friendly. Easy location to get around. Good price. Clean.

good location, 5 minute walk from JR Nara station staff were friendly

Great location, very close to Nara Park, within walking distance. Downstairs there's a pedestrian street with plenty of food and shops. The room was quite spacious, but the carpet was a bit old and dirty

However, the location truly is excellent

The location is also excellent, with lots of restaurants and cafes nearby, as well as the entrance to Nara Park!

While the hotel doesn't serve breakfast, it does offer a lounge with free coffee and tea bags. You can grab breakfast at nearby convenience stores and supermarkets, and there's a Starbucks downstairs

The lounge was really welcoming, and I liked that you could get hot or iced coffee at any time of day there. The tea selection was also extensive. I also really liked the public bath in the basement

The hotel is in a great location, not far from Kintetsu Nara Station. The room was large and clean, but the air conditioner was facing the bed, which was uncomfortable

The hotel's location was excellent, with supermarkets, karaoke, restaurants, and convenience stores all within walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable

Hotel visible from the train station which is only 3 mins walk away. Good standard of Toyoko inn. Breakfast is served up to 9am only though.

The room was very clean. It was close to the station and in a good location. The fact that the bathroom was clean was a big plus.

clean and tidy, excellent customer service!!

Breakfast included a variety of homemade rice balls (individually wrapped), soups, salads, bread, and more, all of which were delicious. The front desk staff, breakfast attendants, and parking staff were all very helpful

Located next to Shin Omiya train station, which turned out to be not very convenient for visiting Nara. At the same time, the number of trains and electric trains that pass through this station is large

Very good and interesting location and the best view of the city

All the amenities you could need: shrink wrapping clothes, microwave, laundry machines…and best of all free luggage storage. Had we realised this we would have saved the 2700yen we spent on lockers at the station

The breakfast was excellent, a very generous Western-style buffet. The room was very clean, and we could easily open two 28-inch suitcases, which was great

We arrived from Kyoto via Kintetsu, and after exiting the station, we just walked through one building to get here – super convenient! It's also really close to the main attractions; we could walk to Nara Park, Kasuga Grand Shrine, and Mount Wakakusa right from the hotel

This is a self-service chain hotel where guests handle check-in, luggage storage, and check-out all through machines. The self-service kiosks offer various language options, making it convenient even for first-time users

What should I write? I'm not sure. I'm just doing this for the points. I've already forgotten what the hotel looked like, but I think it was a bit small. I paid extra for breakfast, and it was just okay, decent enough

We went during cherry blossom season, so the price was a bit steep, but the quiet, natural surroundings made it a great place to relax. The hotel has a hot spring and an open-air bath, which is nice

You can reserve meals in advance and enjoy a course meal for dinner and a buffet-style breakfast. And late at night, the hotel's main entrance seems to be closed

I wasn't given an explanation, so I was a bit confused, but there's a bell next to the door. Just call the staff and ask them to open the door for you

The hotel staff are very professional and they can meet my needs. There are surprises for breakfast and dinner, add a little money and you can have all-you-can-eat long-legged crabs. Room cleanliness is good.

The service, hospitality, facility, and overall experience was great for the price! The seasonal meat dinner was a little disappointing, but the breakfast buffet was satisfactory

The highlight of my stay was the public and private open air onsen

The hotel is conveniently located right by the high-speed train station exit, making transportation very easy. The room was clean, and I really appreciated the ice machine on the first floor.

While the room was compact, it was cleverly designed. It was spotlessly clean and beautifully kept, and Fou provided excellent service.

A part from the pillow a little hard, the rest all are good.

Nearby, the Heijo Palace Site, once the political heart of the Nara period, may now be reduced to ruins, but it still allows visitors to envision the bustling splendor of what was once known as 'Japan's Chang'an City'

At Yakushi-ji Temple, the towering East Pagoda stands as Japan's oldest surviving three-story wooden pagoda. Its exquisitely intricate carvings tell tales of the glorious era when Buddhism first arrived in Japan

The location is fantastic: it's directly opposite Kintetsu Nara Station, and Nara Park is just a 10-minute walk away. On the first floor, there are convenient vending machines and coin-operated washer/dryers

Slightly dated but good location

It was my first time going to a friend's wedding. There was an atmosphere and it was very good. I've lived in Nara for many years, but I haven't had the chance to go there~ The food was also very good

Good place to learn about Nara!

Tried the rice lager at the tea house which is very good tgough some may find it not strong enough. It is within waljing distance of the famous Nara Park. Shuttle bus service to Nara station is excellent

I think the hotel is very good

Good ..The guide lady who helped show me the way was especially nice. She could even speak a bit of Chinese. She helped me get on the shuttle bus to the station. And the scenery around here is really amazing.

One of the best hotels I’ve stay so far. Highly recommended

Facilities: No free parking, but there are vinyl records and a free bar Hygiene: Clean and tidy Environment: Near Nara Park, very convenient Service: English is very good, helped me communicate with the previous hotel and sent the lost headphones to the last hotel

There are no amenities like toothbrushes in the room. You can ask at the front desk, but it's a bit inconvenient. Breakfast was delicious. The morning walk event was also good exercise before dinner.

Loved the hotel!! It’s in the center of nara city It’s 5 mins walk to the nara shopping area, 5mins walk to the nara park there is deer walking around the hotel in the morning There is free morning city walk tour at 7:00-8:00 with local guide; the bicycle is free The view of the pond is nice the service is great!! 5stars to everything The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable They have drink...

The room is very spacious and comfortable, and two suitcases can be opened easily. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, and the window faces the street, with a view of the lake and a Starbucks by the lake.

The room is quite big, and there is a small balcony where you can go out and get some fresh air. The chickens in the yard downstairs are sleek and shiny. They said there were four chickens, but I only saw three

The environment of the room was quite good, but there was a wooden false ceiling above the hot spring pool, but birds often stayed there. If they pooped, they just fell into the hot spring

The hotel staff had a first-class service attitude, were very attentive, spoke fluent English, and patiently explained the hotel facilities and services. There are also small gifts for guests who come to stay here

In terms of food, both dinner and breakfast are Japanese cuisine, which is very exquisite, with fresh ingredients and a good dining experience. The experience of this stay was very good and I highly recommend it

This was such a unique experience. I enjoyed my stay and LOVED the in-room onsen tub. I only wish there was a larger safe in the room. It was on the smaller side, so I couldn’t fit my laptop in it.

Perfect service, great amenities, we even got a little gift! I can only recommend this place if you're looking for something truly special. Get the dinner and breakfast here, trust me!!!

Regardless of the location, environment, facilities, and services, I think everything is close to perfect. I will definitely come again! Visit the **-like Nara deer again😂
