Nikko Nara Hotel, Nara1 / 25
8.8
Nara, 8-1 Sanjo-hommachi (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Extremely satisfied! The room discount was fantastic. The location is convenient, the room is spacious, and the facilities are complete, including a laundry room, a bathhouse, and complimentary capsule coffee.
Breakfast is plentiful, but it can get crowded, so it's best to go early. The drink bar offers local sake, as well as red and white wine. It's a popular spot, with many companies holding year-end parties here
you can reach there …there is a family mark nearby …but. you check carefully where is the car park. it is not free but the price is very reasonable. 24 hours just 900yen …the hotel located at the 3 floor …so
Although the hotel is a bit old, it's very well-maintained. The location is excellent, right outside the JR station, making it super convenient to go feed the deer at Nara Park
The breakfast is exceptionally plentiful, there's a large supermarket downstairs, and delicious ramen nearby. Plus, the transportation is super convenient
Consistent with other Nikko Hotels, this one was great! The large public bath features carbonated water and free ice pops, definitely worth a visit

SUPER HOTEL Premier JR Nara Station, Nara1 / 30

Nara, 1-2, Sanjohon-machi (in the centre) 🧭 Map
This hotel is great! It's right by JR Nara Station, yet the soundproofing is excellent. The staff are really friendly and even gave me a free face mask. It's also super close to Nara Park, just a short walk away
You can also catch a bus right outside the hotel to Nara Park. The hotel offers many optional services, showing great thoughtfulness. The onsen (hot spring) experience was generally good
They even provided sleep aids like different pillows and sleep supplements. My room was quite spacious for one person, though the facilities were relatively simple
The hairdryer was a Refa, and it was fantastic! The best part was definitely the free happy hour at the restaurant in the evenings
There was a wide variety of drinks available, and many guests brought food from the convenience store to enjoy with their drinks
The keyless entry with a password lock on the door was great as it meant I didn't need to carry a room card

When you first walk in the smell of relaxation hits you. I'm not sure what fragrance it was but absolutely loved it. We enjoyed everything about this hotel from location, food and room accommodations.
It was great for a short stay of 2-3 days but would be challenging for a longer stay as it does not have self-service laundry. It was inconvenient to drive 10 minutes to a laundry shop
Its service was great and staff were very polite and helpful. Its gym was well-equipped compared to other hotels in Japan we have stayed in
The hotel facilities are very new, and the design is clean and refreshing. The location is a bit secluded, but they offer a shuttle bus service.
The hotel building is very modern and the reception entrance is wonderful!! Once you get in the entrance you can see beautiful deer picture on the bar’s wall and cute sculptures everywhere! You can check in on seat and kind staffs take care of you
The room is amaze! Very spacious and clean! I love antlers on the bed wall! You can take a good bath in your room! There are enough good bath amenities in your room! There are good fitness gym and pool for all guests by free

Onyado Nono Nara Natural Hot Spring, Nara1 / 30
9.2
Nara, Omiyacho 1 N 1-6 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
I originally wanted to book a designer B&B, but after booking it, I chose this hotel instead. I've stayed at Dormy Inn hotels in Hokkaido and Tokyo before and had good impressions of them
The decor was warm and welcoming, and the hotel had a unique feature where the floor was lined with tatami, including the lift, which was not only unique but really a joy to walk on
A really lovely and peaceful place, despite it being in a bustling area it really is so tranquil when you go in. It’s super clean, being only slippers or socks throughout the hotel
This hotel offers incredible value for money, and I'd definitely choose it again. The location is perfect, right next to Nara Station. We were so touched that the hotel allowed us to check in early
This Nara location is visible right from the train station. The downsides are that it can be a bit noisy when trains pass by, and a 1. 4-meter bed is a bit tight for three people
The advantages are that the lobby smells pleasant, the hot spring facilities are complete with an outdoor bath, and the breakfast is incredibly rich with seafood rice

Nara, 254-1 Hokkejicho (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel is quite old, and my room on a low floor felt a bit dim. The hotel's attached hot spring was pretty good, with three pools and a dry sauna. Parking at the hotel costs 500 RMB.
Every aspect was perfect. Top service and best staff, plus generous breakfast. Highly recommended!
Great spa facility, they have a hyperbaric oxygen chamber and a brilliant sauna with cold pool, you can call in anytime and pay as you go
Beautiful lobby, but ugly ceiling. need renovation
Hotel is a station away from Nara center. We took bus or train. About 9 min away from station. Hotel has specious and beautiful Lobby, Rooms are very simple. Of course clean and neat as usually in Japan.
Wonderful hotel, fine food and restaurants on premises; accommodating staff, onsen (public baths), close to magnificent Nara Park and museums.

Plus, there's an ice machine on the first floor. A big plus is the complimentary breakfast. While the ingredients might not be gourmet, there's a good variety of items available
Another stay here, and it's still conveniently located and clean.
Its location is very convenient (next to the Jr Nara station). There are many restaurants, convenient stores, Aeon …
However, she then backtracked, stating the new room would need cleaning, and refused the room change. Eventually, my father, seeing how much time was being wasted, also went downstairs to sort things out
Given how tired we were from our travels, and knowing that triple rooms usually provide three duvets, I sent my son down to the front desk to ask for an extra one. This ordeal took nearly an hour
A female staff member at the front desk was adamant that two duvets were perfectly sufficient for three people. She insisted that an additional duvet would incur an extra charge

Slightly dated but good location
The restaurant was full of people in the afternoon. If you know it, you know it~ (seems a little expensive)
Good place to learn about Nara!
The chandelier is designed in Japanese style and has several lanterns. The doors to the guest rooms are large and tall, and I wanted to see the other side! When you stop, you will feel like a heroine of the Meiji era
I think the hotel is very good
Good ..The guide lady who helped show me the way was especially nice. She could even speak a bit of Chinese. She helped me get on the shuttle bus to the station. And the scenery around here is really amazing.

Nara, 630-8274 Nara, Kitahanda Higashimachi 1, Japan (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel staff had a first-class service attitude, were very attentive, spoke fluent English, and patiently explained the hotel facilities and services. There are also small gifts for guests who come to stay here
In terms of food, both dinner and breakfast are Japanese cuisine, which is very exquisite, with fresh ingredients and a good dining experience. The experience of this stay was very good and I highly recommend it
This was such a unique experience. I enjoyed my stay and LOVED the in-room onsen tub. I only wish there was a larger safe in the room. It was on the smaller side, so I couldn’t fit my laptop in it.
Perfect service, great amenities, we even got a little gift! I can only recommend this place if you're looking for something truly special. Get the dinner and breakfast here, trust me!!!
Regardless of the location, environment, facilities, and services, I think everything is close to perfect. I will definitely come again! Visit the **-like Nara deer again😂
After some brief confusion at the start during check in everything was perfect. We booked a room with a bath and that was lovely to relax in. Great food and service.

Nara, 1-58 Aburasakacho (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel is in a great location, about 10 minutes walk from the train station, and you can go to see the deer~ There is also a shopping mall nearby, which is convenient The hotel is also very clean and hygienic, and the bed sheets, bath towels and trash cans are changed every day
The location of this hotel is hard to describe. Across the street is a Japanese cemetery. It's a long way from Wakakusa Mountain, a certain distance from the station, and a little far from the bustling commercial street
The important thing is that this hotel sees that you are Chinese and can't speak Japanese. They are not enthusiastic at all and don't say hello when they see you. It is completely different from other Japanese hotels
However, the room is relatively large, the price is relatively cheap, and the environment is relatively new. If you don't consider those things, you can choose it
It is not far from Nara JR Station and Kintetsu Station, but Kintetsu Station is relatively closer. I checked in during my birthday
Breakfast was good. Room so clean

We booked a room with dinner and breakfast included, and both were delicious and very satisfying (;;) They provided petit cakes in the evening, which we enjoyed eating while doodling in our memory notebook! They even have a hot spring! The inside of the hotel was very clean, and everything was great, so we were very satisfied! If I come to Nara again, I'd love to stay here!
The children experienced a traditional Japanese tatami room and their own private outdoor hot spring. The hotel rooftop was beautiful, and there was also complimentary, incredibly delicious Japanese matcha
It’s very near toudaiji & Nara park. However it’s little bit far from the Nara Kintetsu station, it would take about 15-20 minutes by walking. The room & building are extremely clean
We went by car! There was a parking lot where guests could park for free. The location was also great, as it was only about a 15-minute walk to Todaiji Temple
I recommend the top level of the hotel, you can see the beautiful view and there would be an exotic atmosphere at night
You can see Todaiji Temple, a good family travel experience, a destination for two meals and one night.

**Service:** The staff were incredibly patient, thoroughly explaining all the check-in information and important details. I absolutely loved my stay! I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Nara!
Major attractions like Todaiji Temple are just a 10-minute walk away, which is incredibly convenient! The rooms are spacious, the facilities are excellent, and the service is great! Highly recommend!
**Cleanliness:** Spotlessly clean! **Location:** You can see deer just a few steps outside the door, and it's incredibly convenient, being very close to the station
This Japanese-style tatami room comes with dual air conditioning, and the view from the window is quite lovely. There's also a communal hot spring bath
Kimonos and geta (wooden clogs) are provided, and you're welcome to wear them around the premises. They even thoughtfully provide a leg massager
The room is incredibly spacious, featuring three beds and a generous floor futon. It certainly lives up to its premium price tag (3000+)

Although my aesthetic taste for top Japanese food has not reached a high level of taste appreciation, I have to admit that the craftsmanship spirit was brought to the extreme by the hotel chef
Really loved the whole experience! From the shuttle bus that was meticulously planned to all the activities available and the delicious selection of food
The room was very quiet. The hotel also arranged to take us to the top of the mountain to see the stars. The food was also very good. There was also an outdoor private hot spring. My mother was very happy.
It would have been nice if they collected our dietary preferences / restrictions ahead of time though so we would have more time to review the available options
The Japanese-style hotel has a full Japanese style of architecture and decoration. The hot spring is very comfortable, the food is of five-star standard, and the Japanese service is extremely delicate and warm
It was so loud that it almost sounded like someone was running right inside our room. The weirdest part is that the space directly above our room was supposed to be the hotel lobby or the parking lot

This is a truly beautiful hotel with a rich history. The front desk lady was incredibly nice. There's a deer park downstairs. And the view from the window is breathtaking. It was absolutely wonderful.
The service at the hotel did not disappoint, the employees are very welcoming. The breakfasts were very surprising (each guest has their own cuisine). I am sure that we will come back again
I really liked the hotel, it is located in the historical center and right at the entrance to the Nara Park with deer. By the way, the deer themselves also wander near the hotel territory
This was a simply magnificent Hotel. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left the service was exceptional. The breakfast was superb and the roof top terrace amazing.
We also booked breakfast included, The food was delicious and nutritious, It was great that even people who don't eat breakfast could feel at ease in their stomachs!
Very hard for foreigners to find the hole as the hotel name is not large and clear in English or Chinese. The carpark is not right outside or next to the hotel

Nara, 728-10, Kawakami-cho (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The only downside was that the kaiseki (kaiseki) breakfast and dinner were slightly lacking in variety and refinement. Offering a more elaborate and varied option for a fee would have been perfect
Location & Transportation The ryokan is located halfway up Mount Wakakusa, with beautiful views over Nara city — the scenery is stunning, especially at night. But getting up and down the mountain isn’t very convenient
At first, I thought the location was right near Todai-ji Temple and would be easy to access. Turns out: The mountain road is very narrow and winding, and it actually takes longer than expected
Even if you want to take a taxi, you need to book it in advance — it’s not like calling a cab from the street. So I’d recommend planning your itinerary carefully before you arrive
I did quite a bit of research before booking: Sites like *********** say the room is about 28 sqm (307 sq ft) But Ctrip listed it as 56 sqm, which was confusing After checking in, I think 28 sqm is probably just the indoor area, and 56 sqm includes the balcony, private onsen, and garden area
After check-out, you can choose to have the shuttle bus take you to the vicinity of Todai-ji Temple, and your luggage will be delivered to the information center at 11:00 AM

The hot spring room is not big, but I was the only one using it both times, so I felt comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were served in the room. Not many hotels offer such service in the room nowadays
The food tasted good but the portion was a bit too big to finish. The hotel is inside Nara Park. It was very pleasant to go for a walk in the early morning before other tourists arrived!
The hotel is a traditional Japanese hotel with a very Japanese style. It is recommended for friends who like Japanese style. But remember that children are also considered people
Don't book only 2 adults for two adults and one child. The hotel can walk to Kasuga Taisha Shrine, but if you want to leave the hotel to Nara, there is no Uber or taxi
After taking the subway to Nara Station, you need to take a taxi to get to the hotel. The hotel is opposite Wakakusa Mountain, and there are deer outside
Stayed one night with two meals and really liked this hotel. The service is very thoughtful. Although it is a historical place, it is very clean

The hotel has a range of stay plans, we went for the kaiseki dinner and breakfast buffet plan. The food and service were exceptional. There is a small onsen with an outside bath
It was not clear from their website that the restaurant would not be open for dinner, and the closest restaurant by foot (other than McDonald's) was a 30 minute walk away
The only thing that cannot be accepted is that there is no bathroom in the room🚻. Apart from this, everything else is perfect!
That was no problem; we had a nice walk, a great dinner, and really loved the onsen!
Most of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. However, I was really looking forward to using the sauna, but it was either broken or simply too cold to use. That was a significant letdown.
God I love this place, it's amazing. Huge rooms, simply unbelievable bathroom, so many products and a hot tub. I find it mindblowing that this has only 2 stars, it's an incredible hotel

The staff are friendly & helpful. There are for 3 sittings for breakfast, & there are a few 'set' menus to select from. Each serving is delicious & more than plentiful. Thankful for the coin operated washing facility
Can't say enough how much my family loved our stay in this inn! Service was so warm, attentive, and polite right from the start. Our family room for 4 was unexpectedly huge, with a little adjourning sitting area
The bathroom comprised 3 separate areas - 1. A toilet with just the toiletbowl separated from the main bathroom with a door; 2. A separate room with bathtub and shower, sink, and a toiletbowl with a door; and 3
This hotel has an excellent location, and the staff are wonderfully kind and welcoming. We had the pleasure of staying in a traditional Japanese-style room, which made for a truly memorable experience
The room & sitting area are sufficient, but the bathroom is a bit small - no problem, as we mostly used the onsen. The communal bath is clean & has all the necessary amenities - so welcome after hiking all day
Hot spring is available from 4pm-11pm, however, no morning session is available which a bit disappointed us. Hot spring area is not big, it is more enjoyable when there are only 2-3 guest in the pool

A very tradional Rakuten with every facility you would expect from it. All staff are really courteous and attentive. The hotel is only about 10 minutes walk from the Nara Park and tourist attractions
It was my first time staying in a traditional Japanese-style hotel. The room was large and comfortable with tatami. Breakfast and dinner were included
There were 10 dishes before and after dinner, and the taste was very authentic. I saw that most of the guests were Japanese

It's very well located; as soon as you step outside the hotel, you'll find an amazing ramen restaurant. If you want the experience of sleeping on a futon and bathing in public hot springs, this is the place for you
We stayed two nights and slept well on the futons. The hotel was conveniently located near Kintetsu Nara Station and inside the shopping arcade. The front receptionist was friendly, efficient and helpful
The location is incredibly convenient; it's just a right turn from the Kintetsu Nara Station exit, and situated in a shopping district, making it extremely convenient for eating, drinking, and shopping
We love how convenient this location is to the train station (Nara), to the shopping ***** filled with restaurants, and to the Deer Park. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone
But it was an interesting experience, and I definitely recommend it for a couple of days. The public bathhouse is a big plus; don't forget to take advantage of it
The room is traditional in style, and some of the design is rather odd, not always convenient. Although, maybe that's the intention, I don't know

Everything about this hotel was good. Ameneties, customer service, cleanliness, location. Really an amazing hotel, had a wonderful stay here. Would come back again but unfortunately its closing down
Very friendly staff and can speak different languages since it's a tourist center. Walking distance within 10mins from stations and right next to a pond. You can see a couple of deers from the window
It was pretty good overall, but some rooms had an old, musty smell, probably due to their age. The deluxe Japanese-style room was especially great. However, not being able to control the ventilation was a bit annoying
I stayed here one night then hopped to a nearby luxury hotel, but as soon as I checked in. I missed the Nara Visitor Center & Inn! The ladies spoke brilliant English and were so generous
Fantastic room, stone throw away from the park and the shopping/food streets, friendly staff, deer visible from your window and you can cook in the shared kitchen when needed. 11/10
however there were a few trucks who will come by at night around 4-5am to deliver goods and it will create noise. however will likely choose another place to stay in nara :)
