Extremely satisfied! The room discount was fantastic. The location is convenient, the room is spacious, and the facilities are complete, including a laundry room, a bathhouse, and complimentary capsule coffee.

Breakfast is plentiful, but it can get crowded, so it's best to go early. The drink bar offers local sake, as well as red and white wine. It's a popular spot, with many companies holding year-end parties here

Although the hotel is a bit old, it's very well-maintained. The location is excellent, right outside the JR station, making it super convenient to go feed the deer at Nara Park

The breakfast is exceptionally plentiful, there's a large supermarket downstairs, and delicious ramen nearby. Plus, the transportation is super convenient

Consistent with other Nikko Hotels, this one was great! The large public bath features carbonated water and free ice pops, definitely worth a visit

This hotel is great! It's right by JR Nara Station, yet the soundproofing is excellent. The staff are really friendly and even gave me a free face mask. It's also super close to Nara Park, just a short walk away

You can also catch a bus right outside the hotel to Nara Park. The hotel offers many optional services, showing great thoughtfulness. The onsen (hot spring) experience was generally good

They even provided sleep aids like different pillows and sleep supplements. My room was quite spacious for one person, though the facilities were relatively simple

The hairdryer was a Refa, and it was fantastic! The best part was definitely the free happy hour at the restaurant in the evenings

There was a wide variety of drinks available, and many guests brought food from the convenience store to enjoy with their drinks

The keyless entry with a password lock on the door was great as it meant I didn't need to carry a room card

I originally wanted to book a designer B&B, but after booking it, I chose this hotel instead. I've stayed at Dormy Inn hotels in Hokkaido and Tokyo before and had good impressions of them

The decor was warm and welcoming, and the hotel had a unique feature where the floor was lined with tatami, including the lift, which was not only unique but really a joy to walk on

A really lovely and peaceful place, despite it being in a bustling area it really is so tranquil when you go in. It’s super clean, being only slippers or socks throughout the hotel

This hotel offers incredible value for money, and I'd definitely choose it again. The location is perfect, right next to Nara Station. We were so touched that the hotel allowed us to check in early

This Nara location is visible right from the train station. The downsides are that it can be a bit noisy when trains pass by, and a 1. 4-meter bed is a bit tight for three people

The advantages are that the lobby smells pleasant, the hot spring facilities are complete with an outdoor bath, and the breakfast is incredibly rich with seafood rice

When you first walk in the smell of relaxation hits you. I'm not sure what fragrance it was but absolutely loved it. We enjoyed everything about this hotel from location, food and room accommodations.

It was great for a short stay of 2-3 days but would be challenging for a longer stay as it does not have self-service laundry. It was inconvenient to drive 10 minutes to a laundry shop

The hotel is quite old, and my room on a low floor felt a bit dim. The hotel's attached hot spring was pretty good, with three pools and a dry sauna. Parking at the hotel costs 500 RMB.

Hotel is a station away from Nara center. We took bus or train. About 9 min away from station. Hotel has specious and beautiful Lobby, Rooms are very simple. Of course clean and neat as usually in Japan.

Wonderful hotel, fine food and restaurants on premises; accommodating staff, onsen (public baths), close to magnificent Nara Park and museums.

Plus, there's an ice machine on the first floor. A big plus is the complimentary breakfast. While the ingredients might not be gourmet, there's a good variety of items available

Its location is very convenient (next to the Jr Nara station). There are many restaurants, convenient stores, Aeon …

However, she then backtracked, stating the new room would need cleaning, and refused the room change. Eventually, my father, seeing how much time was being wasted, also went downstairs to sort things out

Given how tired we were from our travels, and knowing that triple rooms usually provide three duvets, I sent my son down to the front desk to ask for an extra one. This ordeal took nearly an hour

A female staff member at the front desk was adamant that two duvets were perfectly sufficient for three people. She insisted that an additional duvet would incur an extra charge

Good place to learn about Nara!

The chandelier is designed in Japanese style and has several lanterns. The doors to the guest rooms are large and tall, and I wanted to see the other side! When you stop, you will feel like a heroine of the Meiji era

Good ..The guide lady who helped show me the way was especially nice. She could even speak a bit of Chinese. She helped me get on the shuttle bus to the station. And the scenery around here is really amazing.

A great place to experiment Japanese culture at a decent price. It feels like an all included package. Traditional breakfast and supper, night tour, shuttle and hot water spring spa. Our spacious suite was 32 ft x 32 ft.

We had a lovely time here! We were travelling by public transport, and this spot is a little of out of the way, but they sent a shuttle to the train station and it was easy to arrive

They even give you cookies for the deer. I made all the reservations and my friend really loved this one because she said it was less tourist and more unique like a local would do

It was not clear from their website that the restaurant would not be open for dinner, and the closest restaurant by foot (other than McDonald's) was a 30 minute walk away

The photos of the Onsen represents exactly what the female section looks like, I read some comments that it doesn’t look the same in person but I think that’s because the men’s one is different

At the pool, there were two staff members (unclear if they were lifeguards or simply receptionists) who spent their time chatting at the top of the stairs and only handled reception duties

We booked a room with dinner and breakfast included, and both were delicious and very satisfying (;;) They provided petit cakes in the evening, which we enjoyed eating while doodling in our memory notebook! They even have a hot spring! The inside of the hotel was very clean, and everything was great, so we were very satisfied! If I come to Nara again, I'd love to stay here!

The children experienced a traditional Japanese tatami room and their own private outdoor hot spring. The hotel rooftop was beautiful, and there was also complimentary, incredibly delicious Japanese matcha

It’s very near toudaiji & Nara park. However it’s little bit far from the Nara Kintetsu station, it would take about 15-20 minutes by walking. The room & building are extremely clean

We went by car! There was a parking lot where guests could park for free. The location was also great, as it was only about a 15-minute walk to Todaiji Temple

I recommend the top level of the hotel, you can see the beautiful view and there would be an exotic atmosphere at night

You can see Todaiji Temple, a good family travel experience, a destination for two meals and one night.

Although my aesthetic taste for top Japanese food has not reached a high level of taste appreciation, I have to admit that the craftsmanship spirit was brought to the extreme by the hotel chef

Really loved the whole experience! From the shuttle bus that was meticulously planned to all the activities available and the delicious selection of food

The room was very quiet. The hotel also arranged to take us to the top of the mountain to see the stars. The food was also very good. There was also an outdoor private hot spring. My mother was very happy.

It would have been nice if they collected our dietary preferences / restrictions ahead of time though so we would have more time to review the available options

The Japanese-style hotel has a full Japanese style of architecture and decoration. The hot spring is very comfortable, the food is of five-star standard, and the Japanese service is extremely delicate and warm

It was so loud that it almost sounded like someone was running right inside our room. The weirdest part is that the space directly above our room was supposed to be the hotel lobby or the parking lot

This hotel has an excellent location, and the staff are wonderfully kind and welcoming. We had the pleasure of staying in a traditional Japanese-style room, which made for a truly memorable experience

The room & sitting area are sufficient, but the bathroom is a bit small - no problem, as we mostly used the onsen. The communal bath is clean & has all the necessary amenities - so welcome after hiking all day

Hot spring is available from 4pm-11pm, however, no morning session is available which a bit disappointed us. Hot spring area is not big, it is more enjoyable when there are only 2-3 guest in the pool

The hot spring room is not big, but I was the only one using it both times, so I felt comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were served in the room. Not many hotels offer such service in the room nowadays

The hotel is a traditional Japanese hotel with a very Japanese style. It is recommended for friends who like Japanese style. But remember that children are also considered people

Don't book only 2 adults for two adults and one child. The hotel can walk to Kasuga Taisha Shrine, but if you want to leave the hotel to Nara, there is no Uber or taxi

The location of this hotel is hard to describe. Across the street is a Japanese cemetery. It's a long way from Wakakusa Mountain, a certain distance from the station, and a little far from the bustling commercial street

The important thing is that this hotel sees that you are Chinese and can't speak Japanese. They are not enthusiastic at all and don't say hello when they see you. It is completely different from other Japanese hotels

However, the room is relatively large, the price is relatively cheap, and the environment is relatively new. If you don't consider those things, you can choose it

It is not far from Nara JR Station and Kintetsu Station, but Kintetsu Station is relatively closer. I checked in during my birthday

A very tradional Rakuten with every facility you would expect from it. All staff are really courteous and attentive. The hotel is only about 10 minutes walk from the Nara Park and tourist attractions

It was my first time staying in a traditional Japanese-style hotel. The room was large and comfortable with tatami. Breakfast and dinner were included

There were 10 dishes before and after dinner, and the taste was very authentic. I saw that most of the guests were Japanese

It is very close to Todaiji Temple and Nara Park on foot, and it takes about 10 minutes to walk to Kintetsu Train Station

Everything about this hotel was good. Ameneties, customer service, cleanliness, location. Really an amazing hotel, had a wonderful stay here. Would come back again but unfortunately its closing down

Very friendly staff and can speak different languages since it's a tourist center. Walking distance within 10mins from stations and right next to a pond. You can see a couple of deers from the window

It was pretty good overall, but some rooms had an old, musty smell, probably due to their age. The deluxe Japanese-style room was especially great. However, not being able to control the ventilation was a bit annoying

I stayed here one night then hopped to a nearby luxury hotel, but as soon as I checked in. I missed the Nara Visitor Center & Inn! The ladies spoke brilliant English and were so generous

Fantastic room, stone throw away from the park and the shopping/food streets, friendly staff, deer visible from your window and you can cook in the shared kitchen when needed. 11/10

however there were a few trucks who will come by at night around 4-5am to deliver goods and it will create noise. however will likely choose another place to stay in nara :)

Excellent service, delicious food and spacious rooms that can be enjoyed by kids and adults.

It was an inn that had everything I wanted, within walking distance to sightseeing spots, with a parking lot, a twin Western-style room, and a large communal bath. It's more of a ryokan than a business hotel

There was a feeling of aging, but I thought that the cost performance was good. The staff were also pleasant and polite. In addition, we want to use if there is opportunity

The hotel staff had a first-class service attitude, were very attentive, spoke fluent English, and patiently explained the hotel facilities and services. There are also small gifts for guests who come to stay here

In terms of food, both dinner and breakfast are Japanese cuisine, which is very exquisite, with fresh ingredients and a good dining experience.  The experience of this stay was very good and I highly recommend it

This was such a unique experience. I enjoyed my stay and LOVED the in-room onsen tub. I only wish there was a larger safe in the room. It was on the smaller side, so I couldn’t fit my laptop in it.

Perfect service, great amenities, we even got a little gift! I can only recommend this place if you're looking for something truly special. Get the dinner and breakfast here, trust me!!!

After some brief confusion at the start during check in everything was perfect. We booked a room with a bath and that was lovely to relax in. Great food and service.
