Highly recommended for its convenient location. The hotel is directly connected to JR Nara Station, making it super easy to arrive by train and explore Nara without long walks. Restaurants, shops, and buses are just outside, and major sights like Nara Park are within walking distance. Staffs are friendly too!
Extremely satisfied! The room discount was fantastic. The location is convenient, the room is spacious, and the facilities are complete, including a laundry room, a bathhouse, and complimentary capsule coffee.
It is a very good location ..near nara park ..just 10 mins drive ..you can reach there …there is a family mark nearby …but ..if you wanna park the car ..you check carefully where is the car park ..it is not free but the price is very reasonable..24 hours just 900yen …the hotel located at the 3 floor …so ..if you don’t realise where is the car park ..you have to go 3 floor asking the reception then...
Although the hotel is a bit old, it's very well-maintained. The location is excellent, right outside the JR station, making it super convenient to go feed the deer at Nara Park. I'd definitely recommend it and will choose to stay here again next time.
Location, brand, restaurants and bar. Supermarket nearby. I like this place very much Nara Nikko
We always satisfy their solid customer service.
Any problem not found about the facilities.
We enjoyed the sake/wine tasting very much.

It was great for a short stay of 2-3 days but would be challenging for a longer stay as it does not have self-service laundry. It was inconvenient to drive 10 minutes to a laundry shop. Its service was great and staff were very polite and helpful. Its gym was well-equipped compared to other hotels in Japan we have stayed in
The hotel facilities are very new, and the design is clean and refreshing. The location is a bit secluded, but they offer a shuttle bus service.
The best hotel in Nara. Breakfast was great. Room was great. Service was gret.
very clean and staff very nice and warm welcome. also they share some best food restaurant to us. will come back next time.
Excellent new hotel
Stylish and very comfortable
International but with a touch of Japan and Nara
should consider this the best hotel around in nara town. nice environment, and nice service. the breakfsst varieties could have been a little bit more, and that would be wonderful.

A really lovely and peaceful place, despite it being in a bustling area it really is so tranquil when you go in . It’s super clean, being only slippers or socks throughout the hotel. You can store your shoes in the special place in the lobby. Lovely outside onsen.
I originally wanted to book a designer B&B, but after booking it, I chose this hotel instead. I've stayed at Dormy Inn hotels in Hokkaido and Tokyo before and had good impressions of them. This Nara location is visible right from the train station. The downsides are that it can be a bit noisy when trains pass by, and a 1.4-meter bed is a bit tight for three people. The advantages are that the lobby...
Excellent as always! I used to stay at the onsen hotel on the west side of JR Nara Station, but this time I tried On-yado Nono on the east side. The service standards are consistently high. The noodle bar, where you can grab a late-night ramen, also doubles as a cozy spot for a coffee during the day – it's incredibly relaxing. It's super convenient for getting around anywhere on the JR line. Plus,...
Booked this through Ctrip's 919 sale, got it for just over 400 RMB a night!
While most hotels in the Kansai region come with hot springs, this one's bath is particularly special and doesn't feel stuffy (those who've stayed elsewhere will know what I mean, haha).
After 9:30 PM every night, there's complimentary ramen and ice cream, and in the mornings, free yogurt. The entire hotel is incredibly...
Very good breakfast. The hotel is clean and has nice wooden smell. The onsen is alway crowded. There are 2 excellent massage chars that always occupied. The ramen at 21.30 is also good but with a long queueing. There are free ice cream and yogurt milk.
This hotel offers incredible value for money, and I'd definitely choose it again. The location is perfect, right next to Nara Station. We were so touched that the hotel allowed us to check in early. The bathing facilities are fantastic with an open-air onsen. After a relaxing soak, you can enjoy manga, ice cream, free late-night ramen, and complimentary drinks and alcoholic beverages. It was truly...

Beautiful lobby, but ugly ceiling. need renovation
Hotel is quite dated, onsen is crowded as it opens to public as well. Only good is that you do not need to pay for onsen tax should you decide not to go onsen.
The hotel is quite old, and my room on a low floor felt a bit dim. The hotel's attached hot spring was pretty good, with three pools and a dry sauna. Parking at the hotel costs 500 RMB.
Every aspect was perfect. Top service and best staff, plus generous breakfast. Highly recommended!
Pretty good, but a bit far from Nara Park.
Everything was excellent! This is our second visit this year, and the hot spring pools were fantastic as well.

This is Basho, where we had lunch at the end of the tour, about 10 minutes from Todaiji Temple.
Churrasco is the main dish, but they have a separate menu for large groups.
My husband and I always have the kamameshi, and the rice with dashi broth is very filling. It's delicious.
Personally, I'll have the churrasco next time.
The pleasant and polite welcome was great.
Many of my customers have told me...
Dövmelerle spa kullanılamıyor ama iyi oteldi :)
You can not use spa if you have tattoo but it was a good hotel.
Check-in was smooth, and we also enjoyed the drink service and the large communal bath. Breakfast was delicious! It was great to be able to park for free in the large parking lot.
Driving is the most convenient. Although the hotel is a bit old, it is clean everywhere, especially the large bathing area where you can relax. The waiters are all friendly and kind. The restaurant mainly promotes Brazilian barbecue for lunch and dinner, which is unique.
Toothbrushes, razors, tea bags, etc. are displayed on the shelves and you can take them yourself, so if you bring your own things, they won't go to waste. The front desk staff were also very kind.
First of all, the geographical location is quite a distance away from JR and Dentetsu Nara Station. The appearance is good, the waiters' attitude is also very good, and there are free drinks and books on the first floor for free use. However, the hotel's hardware facilities are no longer suitable for hotel stays. The beds, bathrooms, etc. are too old, and the TV is not as big as a laptop and is much...

Our room has 4 futon beds (tatami) which is comfortable to sleep in. The hotel has liquor like sake, coffee, soda water and snacks as welcome drinks for the guests which is a plus point. Distance from JR and Kintetsu train station is within 10min walking distance. On our way to the hotel we already saw some deers which is a nice surprise to us as we are yet to be near to the Nara Park.
The room was spacious for the price, and I was able to relax. I stayed in a twin room, but the firmness of the mattress on the bed suited me, so I slept well. If I could request something more, I would have appreciated being able to choose the height of the pillow.
Breakfast was good. Room so clean
The hotel is in a great location, about 10 minutes walk from the train station, and you can go to see the deer~ There is also a shopping mall nearby, which is convenient
The hotel is also very clean and hygienic, and the bed sheets, bath towels and trash cans are changed every day. The breakfast is also great. Highly recommended!
The location of this hotel is hard to describe. Across the street is a Japanese cemetery. Don't stay here if you mind. It's a long way from Wakakusa Mountain, a certain distance from the station, and a little far from the bustling commercial street. The important thing is that this hotel sees that you are Chinese and can't speak Japanese. They are not enthusiastic at all and don't say hello when they...
This hotel is located in between the two train stations. It is on a busy road, but the sights are walkable. The room was large, and it was great to have a sitting area and space to relax. The furnishings are worn and dated. The onsen is a nice feature at the end of a long day. As were the free drinks in reception in the early evening. We enjoyed our stay.

The children experienced a traditional Japanese tatami room and their own private outdoor hot spring. The hotel rooftop was beautiful, and there was also complimentary, incredibly delicious Japanese matcha. It's a 3-minute walk from Todai-ji Temple. Todai-ji is the most beautiful area in Nara Park during autumn.
We went by car!
There was a parking lot where guests could park for free.
The location was also great, as it was only about a 15-minute walk to Todaiji Temple.
We booked a room with dinner and breakfast included, and both were delicious and very satisfying (;;)
They provided petit cakes in the evening, which we enjoyed eating while doodling in our memory notebook!
They even have a hot spring!
The inside...
It’s very near toudaiji & Nara park. However it’s little bit far from the Nara Kintetsu station, it would take about 15-20 minutes by walking.
The room & building are extremely clean.
I recommend the top level of the hotel, you can see the beautiful view and there would be an exotic atmosphere at night.
There are time restrictions for using the public hot spring.
The advantage is its proximity to Todai-ji Temple.
The service is quite good; the staff are polite and friendly.
There are many small deer.
Very nice hotel. Will come back definitely.
You can see Todaiji Temple, a good family travel experience, a destination for two meals and one night.

Great, Nara was very comfortable.
The service and environment were impeccable. The hotel is conveniently located with a shuttle bus between Kintetsu Nara Station and JR Station. Situated halfway up Mount Wakakusa, the hotel offers beautiful views of Nara's nightscape, and I even encountered deer on the street outside in the morning. The onsen (hot spring) was comfortable and not crowded; it was perfect for going in the morning and...
The hotel information center is located at Exit 5 of the Kintetsu Nara Station; you can wait for the hotel shuttle bus there. After check-out, you can choose to have the shuttle bus take you to the vicinity of Todai-ji Temple, and your luggage will be delivered to the information center at 11:00 AM. After visiting Todai-ji Temple, Kasuga Taisha Shrine, and Nara Park, you can retrieve your luggage from...
We stayed at Mikasa Ryokan (万葉若草の宿 三笠旅館) in Nara, and overall it was a great experience — but there are definitely some things you should know and plan for in advance.
🏞 1. Location & Transportation
The ryokan is located halfway up Mount Wakakusa, with beautiful views over Nara city — the scenery is stunning, especially at night. But getting up and down the mountain isn’t very convenient.
At first...
An older restaurant, well maintained. There is a dedicated connection point at Kintetsu, and the overall service is good. But the waiters in Taiwan Province are quite indifferent.
The point is that the food is not good, too formal, and the taste is not good.
This is my second time there. The accommodation is OK, but the Kaiseki cuisine is just so-so. It is suitable for a family trip. I chose this one because it offers free parking!

The service, hospitality, facility, and overall experience was great for the price! The seasonal meat dinner was a little disappointing, but the breakfast buffet was satisfactory. The highlight of my stay was the public and private open air onsen.
The shuttle bus made it easy to get to the hotel. The hot springs were comfortable and the dinner was delicious. There were no slippers in the room, so I contacted them and they brought them right to my room. I only stayed one night, but I had a relaxing time.
The hotel is within walking distance of Kintetsu Yamato-Saidaiji Station and is also in a great location, just 3-4 minutes from Heijo Ruins Park. It's also perfectly located for soaking in hot springs, which are extremely rare in Nara City.
The downside is that the facilities are old, and there are issues with facility management and maintenance, such as room and bathroom locks not locking in some...
I stayed here with my parents and for a dinner party after the shrine visit. The food was delicious, and the interior is very clean after the renovation. The staff were also kind and we had a comfortable stay.
It would have been very helpful if there was a shuttle bus on the way back.
Very atmospheric. Great kaiseki dinner. Delicious breakfast. Wonderful staff.
We went during cherry blossom season, so the price was a bit steep, but
the quiet, natural surroundings made it a great place to relax.
The hotel has a hot spring and an open-air bath, which is nice. You can reserve meals in advance and enjoy a course meal for dinner and a buffet-style breakfast.
And late at night, the hotel's main entrance seems to be closed.
I wasn't given an explanation, so I was...

We used it for a New Year's party. Because it is far from the station, we requested a shuttle bus. Thank you for accommodating our food allergies. We were limited to two hours, and the food kept coming out one after the other, so it was a little disappointing that we couldn't relax.
I'm glad that the carpentry alumni association Nara branch general meeting was held for the first time in three years.
68 minutes from Kashihara City to the hotel by left private car. From the Kenchōhigashi intersection, head toward Kyoto, and turn left at the Todaiji Tengaimon traffic light. After crossing 3 traffic lights, there is a narrow road in front of the hotel, there is no traffic light here. As soon as you turn right, the parking lot will be on your left. Walk down the street next to the hotel and enter through...
When I heard that it was run by the Public School Mutual Aid Association, I was surprised at the high quality. In particular, the meals used a lot of local products and were delicious. I am planning to visit you again.
Very nice Italian restaurant! In love of the pizza! The only not awesome thing for me it was the Parma ham
The dinner preparations took much too long however the food was delicious.

What a place! It's in a world heritage site. Our uber took us right to the door. But we walked into the deer park and shrines. We had the full Japanese experience with traditional dinner served in our room and breakfast. Lots of fish. We had a bigger than a king thick mattress in the bedroom. Our family had a smaller room with heated floor mats . They slept on futons. I think it's hard to book but...
Just had a 2 nights stay and we absolutely loved it It is in a very secluded little valley in the park itself and everything feels very remote quiet and peaceful even though all the tourist hustle and bustle is only a 5 minute walk away The place itself feels quite new and very “japandic” (a mix between Japan and Scandinavian)… The food was amazing… The staff speak a bit of english but what they perhaps...
A beautiful spot in the forest, although just a bit far from the sights in Nara. The staff was lovely and the room quite comfortable, by Western standards for a Japanese room (although the futons were by far the hardest and most uncomfortable of the three ryokans we visited). The meals lived up to the reviews, beautifully presented true kaiseki.
One of our favorite activities in Nara is hiking the Kasugayama (Mt. Kasuga) Primeval Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that remains largely untouched. Hunting and logging have been banned since 841 A.D., and public access was restricted until after World War II, which has helped preserve its rare flora and fauna. Today, anyone can explore its network of trails winding through ancient cedars and...
This was my second stay. The location is right inside Nara Park, very quiet. Deer can be seen within a few minutes' walk, and Kasuga Taisha Shrine is also nearby. The kaiseki cuisine is freshly prepared, and the service is excellent. The receptionist can speak basic English. Before check-in, the hotel contacted us about check-in time, dinner and breakfast arrangements, and hot spring bath times—very...
We stayed for two nights in one of the traditional rooms with kaiseki and it was one of the best experiences we have had anywhere in the world. The food was amazing and the staff were very polite and professional. Walking through the park from the front door or into town is also great! The private baths were super relaxing. I also recommend having the staff order you a massage and you will not be...
