Excellent location—right next to Nara Station, making it very convenient to take the bus to Tōdai-ji and Nara Park. The hotel room was very clean and well-equipped, with a bathtub, TV, refrigerator, and everything you might need. The reception staff were also very friendly and helpful. Definitely my top choice for my next trip to Nara!

Great location, very close to Nara Park, within walking distance. Downstairs there's a pedestrian street with plenty of food and shops. The room was quite spacious, but the carpet was a bit old and dirty. However, the location truly is excellent.

The hotel is in a great location. The room is very nice, but with two main weaknesses: no hooks for towels, and no curtains so the sunlight will wake you up. The staff was very helpful in booking a restaurant for us, but very annoying at the end of our stay as they charged us 2000 yen when one of our bedroom cards fell in the bedroom into the space between the wooden floor and the wall! 😤😑

My trip to Nara with my mom and sister was very close to Nara Kintetsu Station and the shopping street. There was a Starbucks and the shopping street downstairs. It was very convenient to go to various temples and parks to see the deer. The Japanese-style tatami was also provided by the staff during checkout. It was a wonderful memory.

The room, including the balcony, the cleanness, and the view, the location, andthe friendliness and professionalism of staff were all beyond expectation.

Everything about this hotel was good. Ameneties, customer service, cleanliness, location. Really an amazing hotel, had a wonderful stay here. Would come back again but unfortunately its closing down. Wish all the best, thanks for the hospitality.

Very friendly staff and can speak different languages since it's a tourist center. Walking distance within 10mins from stations and right next to a pond. You can see a couple of deers from the window. A convenient store right at B1 which comes in handy - tho it's not 24hrs. There are many activities you can join during daytime. Recommended.

Fantastic room, stone throw away from the park and the shopping/food streets, friendly staff, deer visible from your window and you can cook in the shared kitchen when needed. 11/10

Considering what we paid for 3 people to stay a night before moving on from Nara, this accommodation was great. Had a public bath and even a communal kitchen. Very user friendly. Too bad the convenience store connected to it was closed during our stay, overall a great stay for the price.

It was pretty good overall, but some rooms had an old, musty smell, probably due to their age. The deluxe Japanese-style room was especially great. However, not being able to control the ventilation was a bit annoying. For the price, the room size was quite generous. Next time, I'd like to stay two consecutive days; checking out after just one night this time was really inconvenient.

A magnificent hotel with top-notch service. We had an unforgettable stay where the quality of service is truly exceptional. The staff is incredibly attentive to guests. This hotel has absolutely impeccable service. The staff is very attentive. The rooms are not large but comfortable and neatly appointed. The location at the corner of Nara park is also a great asset. Definitely a great location from which to explore ancient Nara.

The Noborioji Hotel in Nara was amazing. The staff were extremely friendly, courteous, and helpful. The food was exquisite. The bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean and nice. The bathtub was nice, but the shower is easily my favorite showing experiences in all my 46 years so far. I felt like I had been massaged and stream cleaned when I was done. What an experience.

The room is traditional in style, and some of the design is rather odd, not always convenient. Although, maybe that's the intention, I don't know. But it was an interesting experience, and I definitely recommend it for a couple of days. The public bathhouse is a big plus; don't forget to take advantage of it.

We love how convenient this location is to the train station (Nara), to the shopping ***** filled with restaurants, and to the Deer Park. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

It's very well located; as soon as you step outside the hotel, you'll find an amazing ramen restaurant. If you want the experience of sleeping on a futon and bathing in public hot springs, this is the place for you. There are also private baths in your room if you don't want to use the public baths.

The location is incredibly convenient; it's just a right turn from the Kintetsu Nara Station exit, and situated in a shopping district, making it extremely convenient for eating, drinking, and shopping. The room was quite old, but the cleanliness was impeccable—a real bargain. The public bath was relatively empty and clean. Overall, it was alright.

We stayed two nights and slept well on the futons. The hotel was conveniently located near Kintetsu Nara Station and inside the shopping arcade. The front receptionist was friendly, efficient and helpful. We also enjoyed the hot spring bath. Bathrobes (yukata) and towels were provided.

A wonderful place! Quiet, peaceful, close to everything! Very pleased! The room is spacious enough for one or even two guests.

The surrounding environment is very nice, and it's conveniently located near a park.

This is my second time at this hotel. Everything is more than comfortable, absolutely everything is taken care of. You can also leave your luggage on the first floor before check-in. There's no staff, but I think it's safe. The room is very clean, every detail is thought of, and it's a comfortable stay.

It was a very comfortable stay, and the room was quite large. The location was convenient.

The room was not as clean as we expected, and there was no room service for cleaning. Additionally, there is no on-site laundry room; the nearest one is a 15-minute walk away.

Perfect location. Perfect location, as it's very close to the train station as well as the deer park. The room had everything you needed and a very comfortable bed. The communal ktchen area was excellent and again has everything you could possibly need and also a lovely eating area. Everything was perfect. The host was also very helpful and friendly. Most amenities are provided, but no skin care products. The only towels provided are one bath towel per person. The room is clean, the owner is friendly and speaks English. It’s also close to both JR Nara and Kintetsu Nara station. Also deer park isn’t far from here which is really nice

It was not so clean and the service was not very welcoming compared to other structures, especially on the phone. They pre charged and then you have to pay cash. Just two pictures from the bathroom, but many things showed lack of regards

The location is near both JR nara and kintestu station, it's also 800m far from nara park and naramachi main area. However, it's not on the main street so it's quite dark and silent at night. Room and services are good for solo travelers. I stayed in female dorm, everything is ok. However, you may be awakened at midnight if others go out or do st else. That's so disturbing 🤨

It's a traditional Japanese hostel quite convenience

Very clean. Staff speak both English and Japanese and are very friendly and helpful. The guesthouse is within walking distance of both Nara Station about 10 minutes and Nara Park about 10 minutes but in the other direction. Would definitely recommend a stay.

A very homey and locally distinctive youth hostel with excellent service and clean rooms. The location is also convenient—just a five-minute walk to the nearest subway station. I’ll definitely stay here again next time I visit Nara.

The quilts in the room are OK, but it would be very uncomfortable if someone snores in a 6-person room. The beds are not enclosed and are very similar to dormitories in China. There is a washing machine at 220 yen per time, but no dryer. The toilet is just average, and you have to wear hotel shoes when going in and out, which are really not that good. Towels and toothbrushes must be bought separately...

It was my first time to experience a youth hostel. The beds were bunk beds. I was lucky to be assigned to the upper bunk. After all, if I wanted to get out of bed, it would affect the passengers in the lower bunk. The hotel staff are quite friendly.
