Highly recommended for its convenient location. The hotel is directly connected to JR Nara Station, making it super easy to arrive by train and explore Nara without long walks. Restaurants, shops, and buses are just outside, and major sights like Nara Park are within walking distance. Staffs are friendly too!
Extremely satisfied! The room discount was fantastic. The location is convenient, the room is spacious, and the facilities are complete, including a laundry room, a bathhouse, and complimentary capsule coffee.
It is a very good location ..near nara park ..just 10 mins drive ..you can reach there …there is a family mark nearby …but ..if you wanna park the car ..you check carefully where is the car park ..it is not free but the price is very reasonable..24 hours just 900yen …the hotel located at the 3 floor …so ..if you don’t realise where is the car park ..you have to go 3 floor asking the reception then...
Although the hotel is a bit old, it's very well-maintained. The location is excellent, right outside the JR station, making it super convenient to go feed the deer at Nara Park. I'd definitely recommend it and will choose to stay here again next time.
Location, brand, restaurants and bar. Supermarket nearby. I like this place very much Nara Nikko
We always satisfy their solid customer service. Any problem not found about the facilities. We enjoyed the sake/wine tasting very much.

Perfect location close to Nara Park, friendly staff.
The location is top tier. Absolutely in the center, next to all attractions and near the subway line. Its perfekt for a beautiful stay in Nara
Great location, I like the TV equipment, which can project the screen of the mobile phone to the TV.
Huge room and a huge King size bed with big clear glasses overlooking the park where we could see deers eating grass. Hospitality was great. We had dinner and breakfast which was modified to our needs and wishes - vegetarian. Explanation of all amenities was done with welcome drink. Staff came to Kintetsu Nara station to welcome us to their hotel. Indian flag was specially hosted as we were the guests...
This hotel has absolutely impeccable service. The staff is very attentive. The rooms are not large but comfortable and neatly appointed. The location at the corner of Nara park is also a great asset. Definitely a great location from which to explore ancient Nara.
The Noborioji Hotel in Nara was amazing. The staff were extremely friendly, courteous, and helpful. The food was exquisite. The bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean and nice. The bathtub was nice, but the shower is easily my favorite showing experiences in all my 46 years so far. I felt like I had been massaged and stream cleaned when I was done. What an experience.

Close distance to the train station but it's on the opposite direction of the commercial street. Clean room, basic amenities. Couldn't get extra pillow as usual. Good enough for quick visit in Nara
very near the jr station. convenient to get the bus to nara park.
Small room but full amenities. Breakfast is not so good but acceptable! Suggest you should book the room with breakfast for all hotel in Japan
Good: Good cost performance, Good staff, great variety of food, convenient location - next to train station and convenience stores, signs are in english and Japanese. Staff have limited english skills which is ready good for simple requests I think. Bad: room seems to have no air conditioning (cool cold air) - the "air condition" dail only has fan speed not temperature and it blows warm air. The window...
Excellent location—right next to Nara Station, making it very convenient to take the bus to Tōdai-ji and Nara Park. The hotel room was very clean and well-equipped, with a bathtub, TV, refrigerator, and everything you might need. The reception staff were also very friendly and helpful. Definitely my top choice for my next trip to Nara!
It's a well-known fact that accommodations in Japan can be pricey, so for my trip, I opted for several chain budget hotels, and Smile Hotel was one of them. It offers great value for money. The Smile Hotel in Nara is conveniently located right next to Nara JR Station; you can spot their sign as soon as you exit the station. It's the perfect starting point for exploring Nara. It was great for a short stay of 2-3 days but would be challenging for a longer stay as it does not have self-service laundry. It was inconvenient to drive 10 minutes to a laundry shop. Its service was great and staff were very polite and helpful. Its gym was well-equipped compared to other hotels in Japan we have stayed in
The hotel facilities are very new, and the design is clean and refreshing. The location is a bit secluded, but they offer a shuttle bus service.
The best hotel in Nara. Breakfast was great. Room was great. Service was gret.
very clean and staff very nice and warm welcome. also they share some best food restaurant to us. will come back next time.
Excellent new hotel Stylish and very comfortable International but with a touch of Japan and Nara
should consider this the best hotel around in nara town. nice environment, and nice service. the breakfsst varieties could have been a little bit more, and that would be wonderful.

A really lovely and peaceful place, despite it being in a bustling area it really is so tranquil when you go in . It’s super clean, being only slippers or socks throughout the hotel. You can store your shoes in the special place in the lobby. Lovely outside onsen.
I originally wanted to book a designer B&B, but after booking it, I chose this hotel instead. I've stayed at Dormy Inn hotels in Hokkaido and Tokyo before and had good impressions of them. This Nara location is visible right from the train station. The downsides are that it can be a bit noisy when trains pass by, and a 1.4-meter bed is a bit tight for three people. The advantages are that the lobby...
Excellent as always! I used to stay at the onsen hotel on the west side of JR Nara Station, but this time I tried On-yado Nono on the east side. The service standards are consistently high. The noodle bar, where you can grab a late-night ramen, also doubles as a cozy spot for a coffee during the day – it's incredibly relaxing. It's super convenient for getting around anywhere on the JR line. Plus,...
Booked this through Ctrip's 919 sale, got it for just over 400 RMB a night! While most hotels in the Kansai region come with hot springs, this one's bath is particularly special and doesn't feel stuffy (those who've stayed elsewhere will know what I mean, haha). After 9:30 PM every night, there's complimentary ramen and ice cream, and in the mornings, free yogurt. The entire hotel is incredibly...
Very good breakfast. The hotel is clean and has nice wooden smell. The onsen is alway crowded. There are 2 excellent massage chars that always occupied. The ramen at 21.30 is also good but with a long queueing. There are free ice cream and yogurt milk.
This hotel offers incredible value for money, and I'd definitely choose it again. The location is perfect, right next to Nara Station. We were so touched that the hotel allowed us to check in early. The bathing facilities are fantastic with an open-air onsen. After a relaxing soak, you can enjoy manga, ice cream, free late-night ramen, and complimentary drinks and alcoholic beverages. The hotel is not far from Nara station. It is comfortable for family trip. And the location is good, it has a convenient store and a lot of restaurants nearby. The breakfast set is very good. I recommend to order Japanese food , it is tasty.
Nice simple room. Near to eatery nearby and stone throw distance to jr Nara station and kintesu station.
Perfect location in the center. Not much facilities but that's the thing with all of hotels in Japan I've been to.
Facilities: Well-equipped Cleanliness: Spotless Environment: Decent
Right next to Nara Station and Kintetsu Nara Station, this hotel boasts a convenient location and excellent value for money. The room is typical of a Japanese business hotel – perfectly fine for a stay. The surrounding area is incredibly convenient for dining, drinking, and shopping. This hotel slightly exceeded my expectations. The service and facilities, including the hot spring and complimentary drinks, were excellent. The breakfast was incredibly diverse, and the location is very convenient. I will definitely book this hotel again if I have the chance.

Beautiful lobby, but ugly ceiling. need renovation
Hotel is quite dated, onsen is crowded as it opens to public as well. Only good is that you do not need to pay for onsen tax should you decide not to go onsen.
The hotel is quite old, and my room on a low floor felt a bit dim. The hotel's attached hot spring was pretty good, with three pools and a dry sauna. Parking at the hotel costs 500 RMB.
Every aspect was perfect. Top service and best staff, plus generous breakfast. Highly recommended!
Pretty good, but a bit far from Nara Park.

Another stay here, and it's still conveniently located and clean.
Its location is very convenient (next to the Jr Nara station). There are many restaurants, convenient stores, Aeon …
Getting to Naito JR station from Kyoto was very smooth and convenient. The hotel had confirmed our booking for three adults for two nights in Chinese, English, and Japanese. The rooms were spotless, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The hotel is located right in Meriken Park, making it the perfect spot to enjoy the sea view. The off-season rates offered excellent value for money, making it a superb choice for anyone visiting Kobe.
This is one of my favorite hotels. It boasts a stylish design and is directly accessible from the JR line. Despite its proximity to the station, the soundproofing is superb. The hotel looked quite impressive, the facilities were new, and the complimentary tea selection was generous. However, the cleanliness standards were surprisingly poor. It was close to the station and easy to access. There was a wide variety of rice balls for breakfast, and they were all delicious.

Hotel visible from the train station which is only 3 mins walk away. Good standard of Toyoko inn. Breakfast is served up to 9am only though.
The hotel's location was excellent, with supermarkets, karaoke, restaurants, and convenience stores all within walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable. Check-in was smooth, and we also enjoyed the drink service and the large communal bath. Breakfast was delicious! It was great to be able to park for free in the large parking lot.
Driving is the most convenient. Although the hotel is a bit old, it is clean everywhere, especially the large bathing area where you can relax. The waiters are all friendly and kind. The restaurant mainly promotes Brazilian barbecue for lunch and dinner, which is unique.
Toothbrushes, razors, tea bags, etc. are displayed on the shelves and you can take them yourself, so if you bring your own things, they won't go to waste. The front desk staff were also very kind.

The hotel is conveniently located right by the high-speed train station exit, making transportation very easy. The room was clean, and I really appreciated the ice machine on the first floor.
While the room was compact, it was cleverly designed. It was spotlessly clean and beautifully kept, and Fou provided excellent service.

After taking the subway to Nara Station, you need to take a taxi to get to the hotel. The hotel is opposite Wakakusa Mountain, and there are deer outside. We had a lovely time here! We were travelling by public transport, and this spot is a little of out of the way, but they sent a shuttle to the train station and it was easy to arrive. It was not clear from their website that the restaurant would not be open for dinner, and the closest restaurant by foot (other than McDonald's) was a 30 minute walk away. That was no problem; we had a nice walk, a...
At the pool, there were two staff members (unclear if they were lifeguards or simply receptionists) who spent their time chatting at the top of the stairs and only handled reception duties. We were informed that the shower in our room might not have hot water, but it thankfully did. All four sets of sheets were riddled with holes, and for that reason, I will definitely not be returning. I believe there...
Most of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. However, I was really looking forward to using the sauna, but it was either broken or simply too cold to use. That was a significant letdown.
The page says there is a sea view room, but it actually has a mountain view. Although there is pick-up and drop-off at the station, the pick-up and drop-off time is stipulated. It is not very clear without marking it. It's too far from the station and far from the scenic spots.
The service is excellent and the outdoor hot spring is great. The disadvantage is that the sound insulation effect of the room is not good. Fortunately, the quality of the guests staying here is very high. The only thing that cannot be accepted is that there is no bathroom in the room🚻. Apart from this, everything else is perfect!
Service was lovely! Beautiful rooms. Minimal English spoken here, but staff still absolutely wonderful! Would have loved an option for a non set menu to choose the courses, however the traditional menu was more cultural!

Staff is really friendly and helpful. Great central location. In walking distance of train station, restaurants, and tourist sites. Rooms are outdated, but clean and one of the few that allow 3 person occupancy. Only negative is AC struggled to keep room cool, but to be fair there was a July heat wave. A practical, budget friendly hotel.
Great place to stay beautiful breakfast
Good place to stay but the food is pricey.
Right near the entrance to Nara park and in between the two main train stations, this hotel was an absolute steal. The sofa bed for the third guest was a bit too firm for my taste, but I'm sure other people would enjoy it. Staff was super helpful and even carried or bags to our room, which made me feel a little bad because one of my bags was unreasonably heavy.
In a quaint town with a international breakfast spread.
