The service, hospitality, facility, and overall experience was great for the price! The seasonal meat dinner was a little disappointing, but the breakfast buffet was satisfactory. The highlight of my stay was the public and private open air onsen.

The shuttle bus made it easy to get to the hotel. The hot springs were comfortable and the dinner was delicious. There were no slippers in the room, so I contacted them and they brought them right to my room. I only stayed one night, but I had a relaxing time.

The hotel is within walking distance of Kintetsu Yamato-Saidaiji Station and is also in a great location, just 3-4 minutes from Heijo Ruins Park. It's also perfectly located for soaking in hot springs, which are extremely rare in Nara City.
The downside is that the facilities are old, and there are issues with facility management and maintenance, such as room and bathroom locks not locking in some places. Also, the hand washing areas in the rooms are not flush with the rooms, making them difficult to use.
We strongly urge the hotel management to ensure that the age of the facilities does not become apparent.

I stayed here with my parents and for a dinner party after the shrine visit. The food was delicious, and the interior is very clean after the renovation. The staff were also kind and we had a comfortable stay.
It would have been very helpful if there was a shuttle bus on the way back.

We went during cherry blossom season, so the price was a bit steep, but
the quiet, natural surroundings made it a great place to relax.
The hotel has a hot spring and an open-air bath, which is nice. You can reserve meals in advance and enjoy a course meal for dinner and a buffet-style breakfast.

And late at night, the hotel's main entrance seems to be closed.
I wasn't given an explanation, so I was a bit confused, but there's a bell next to the door. Just call the staff and ask them to open the door for you.

The hotel staff are very professional and they can meet my needs. There are surprises for breakfast and dinner, add a little money and you can have all-you-can-eat long-legged crabs. Room cleanliness is good.

The hot spring in the room looked dirty and covered with moss. It wasn't very clean.
So I booked the in-room hot spring but never used it

Although the scenery near the hotel seems to be remote, the hotel is actually in a good location. Next door is the ruins of Heijo Palace, and it is about a ten-minute walk from Kintetsu Yamato-Saidaiji Railway Station. Popular attractions such as Nara Park are only two stations away.

The hotel can reserve a shuttle bus to the railway station. I saw some guests using it, but I didn't use it.

The room is bigger than I expected. There is no extra charge for the hotel's hot spring facilities. There are both indoor and outdoor pools. The service of the hotel staff is very good. Overall, it is highly recommended.

Although there was a little problem with language communication, the friendly attitude of the staff made up for it, it was a great value for money hot spring hotel, we happily enjoyed two days and one night
