Good ..The guide lady who helped show me the way was especially nice. She could even speak a bit of Chinese. She helped me get on the shuttle bus to the station. And the scenery around here is really amazing.

The staff do not speak much English. Especially for room service, they are very polite and wanted to be helpful unfortunately due to barriers in language, we cannot communicate effectively

the hotel is old (or called it historical)，and so it is the service and management！ none spoke English and I was totally confused time to times because there were so many hotel rules that you must follow. there were so many people，about 6，in the front desk area，all their jobs seemed to be not to provide services to the guest but to make sure the guests had followed their rules which they were not even able to explain in English.

I don't think this is a hotel for international guests.

A hotel full of history as it has been the chosen venue for important events in Nara. Many celebrities had stayed in this hotel including Albert Einstein. Tried the rice lager at the tea house which is very good tgough some may find it not strong enough. The vicinity is nice. It is within waljing distance of the famous Nara Park. The room is spacious. Shuttle bus service to Nara station is excellent. Very helpful staff. An enjoyable stay indeed!

Nice room in a quiet area, kind staff, convenient to the Nara attractions

Lovely hotel gave you a warm welcome feeling. Free parking facility next to the hotel. The Japanese buffet breakfast is available at 1510 Yen per adult, and half price for children. It's very close to the Nara park, deer park, temple, Taisha, etc.

it was really confortable hotel. All of the staffs were kind and friendly to make communicate.
My favourite point of the hotel is a breakfast service, which is provided Japanese and Western style.
As regards a location, the hotel is in close to the central area of the Nara; so easy to go down to many temples and shopping sites.
In terms of the cost, depending of the season, but the cost performance could be absolutely appropriate. The room has clean and enough space, bathroom as well.
But if you want to enjoy staying Japanese style hotel, it could be unsuited slightly for you.
