The hotel is located right above the train station, offering a nice river view from the window. The lobby isn't huge but it's well-equipped. The area around the hotel gets pretty quiet at night with not many shops open. Being right above the station makes it really convenient for getting around.

Very nice experience. The hotel is clean and nicely decorated, the staff is very welcoming and helpful. The room was comfortable and quiet. We also enjoyed the sky spa: very clean, very good amenities . Overall a great and relaxing stay.

Right next to the station, which is very convenient. There's a supermarket, pharmacy, and plenty of dining options downstairs. The price is reasonable, and breakfast is pretty good too. Getting here from Osaka by car is quite easy. It's just that Wakayama as a whole doesn't have much to offer in terms of attractions.

The view of the king bedroom allows you to see the river which is great. The skyline spa offers good views and great comfortability.
The only things to pay attention to are the Queen bedroom is quite small and the men spa is too crowded during busy hours

The location is super convenient, with a direct train from Kansai Airport right to the hotel entrance. There's a supermarket and restaurants downstairs, and Wakayama Castle is just a 10-15 minute walk away, along with some highly-rated local restaurants. The rooftop open-air bath was a highlight; I went every evening – it was incredibly relaxing and comfortable.

I cannot recommend Candeo Hotels Nankai Wakayama enough! Its super convenient, just a few steps to the JR/Nankai lines and if the trains take too long to come, a few more steps and you're at the bus interchange! The service staff is awesome, room is huge and breakfast is yummy! The coin laundry is super affordable but there's only 2 washers & 2 dryers so to avoid "peak hour", better start early or go late. Its on the same floor as the baths and oh my God, the outdoor bath at night in winter is awesome!

The location is awesome as it is right beside Wakayamashi Station. Many food choices nearby and there is a library beside it. Breakfast buffet spread is decent but the views are great.

Great hotel! The lobby is beautiful, and it's right next to the tram station with a big bus stop nearby, so transportation is super convenient. The staff were also very friendly. I'll definitely choose this place again next time.

The room was spacious and clean. Everything was good.
Will stay there again if im visiting wakayama.
Candeo would normally be my go to hotel when going to japan. And so far it has always been awesome.

Supermarket is downstairs. Carpark jusr right beside. For those taking train, its also right beside the nankai line.
