The hot springs are great and there are many options! The hotel is very spacious and the guests are treated attentively.
Wonderful hotel! Magnificent hot springs, total relaxation. Very good hair creams and shampoos for everyone to use, as well as excellent breakfasts and dinners – with delicacies such as crab claws, caviar, tuna, and so on. Thank you. We are guests from Russia.
I found this hotel and made a reservation when I was planning to go to a hot spring in Nasu. The food was delicious and the baths were great too.
It's a hotel I'd like to visit again.
Beautiful Autumn Views, But Limited Late-Night Convenience
This location offers stunning views, especially during autumn when the hilltop scenery is breathtaking. The hotel serves a buffet for both breakfast and dinner, with a wide selection of items. While the food quality is decent (around 7/10), the variety is impressive, ensuring there’s something for most tastes. The rooftop view in the morning...
The evening buffet was good and the hot spring experience was great
I went there for the first time in a long time. Perhaps because it was a weekday, only the main building was open. The baths are large and the quality of the spring water is rich, so you can soak in a variety of hot springs in one place, and there is also a sauna. The temperature of the shower in the washing room was low, and at this time of year, it was very cold when I was washing my body. The dinner...

Very good hotel, nice breakfast.
I stayed here 7 years ago on a business trip, and this time I stayed here it was still as clean and tidy as before. The front desk has added a machine for check-in and check-out, which is very convenient. The transportation location is very close to Shin-Shirakawa station, just a few minutes walk. The girl at the front desk was very patient and friendly. I am considering staying here next month.
Very friendly check-in counter staff.
A clean business hotel close to the station. The staff are very friendly.
The rooms are nice and well appointed. The breakfast provided is satisfactory.
The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and there was a parking lot nearby, which was convenient.

Nice hotel with good location .staff was friendly
The free parking in the flat parking lot is a plus.
There's an Aeon mall a short walk away, so it's best to do your groceries beforehand, but there are dining options within the hotel, and there are ramen and yakiniku restaurants nearby. While the hotel as a whole is clean, there were signs of previous guests, such as hair in the bathroom and on the table, which was a bit unpleasant.
My mother was disappointed that there were no pajamas.
I was also disappointed that there was no fruit or yogurt for breakfast.
Other than that, it was great.
Not many options in town, this appeared to be one of the better ones. Rooms are dated

They offer all the essentials.
Checking in and checking out was smooth.
The West Wing has no front desk and no staff, so after checking in at the main building, you have to use your room key to enter the West Wing, which is locked. The rooms don't have an auto-lock, so it's easy to forget to lock your door.
Aside from that, there is a large public bath and the breakfast is delicious.
Good service and good location
It was within walking distance of Shin-Shirakawa Station, had all the amenities, and the breakfast was satisfying.
I was in the West Wing, but the only disappointing thing was that instead of using a card key, I had to leave the key in the lobby of a separate building every time I went out.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The facilities are a bit old, but they are well-maintained and clean.

The open-air bath was amazing. The room was modern, and the tableware and paintings were lovely. I'd like to use it again.
Brand new hotel with 360 view of Mt Nasu on 7/F onsen floor. Food is good with creative menu.
The baths were clean and very nice, but since the men's and women's baths are switched, I wish they had designed them with different atmospheres. It's a waste to have the baths in exactly the same design, just in different locations.
The hot spring was a spacious open-air bath overlooking the Nasu Five Mountains, and there was also a carbon bath, so I was able to relax.
The food was also delicious, with original dishes made using local ingredients.

What a wonderful location.
It's located on a hilltop in a vast ranch.
And yet, we were able to use the hotel's hot springs and power outlets, so there's nothing to complain about.
This was my first time camping in my car,
and I highly recommend this RV park for beginners.
The only downside is that you have to go all the way to the hotel to find the restroom, but it's only a minute or two away.
On...
Premium membership to the Kuruma Tabi Club is paid once a year,
but if a family of four uses the facility, it will almost cover the cost.
The park usage fee is 2,000 yen, including power and garbage collection.
You can use the bath as many times as you like from check-in to check-out, for just 500 yen per person for premium members.
In addition, small towels and bath towels are provided in the bath...
The room was spacious and clean. The baths were well-equipped with a sauna, a cold bath, and an open-air bath, so I could stay there for hours. Breakfast was served buffet style, and everything was delicious. The omelettes they cooked for me were also great!
The room was spacious and clean. While watching TV, noise suddenly started and I couldn't watch it, and it didn't come back on without using the remote control. Breakfast: Buffet. The meat and potatoes were delicious. Grapefruit: When I tried to take something from the bottom, it became stringy. You should be careful.
The staff are very professional. I have stayed here before, but not this one. After the epidemic, I will work hard and hope that we will meet again as glorious as before. .
The staff are courteous!
Front desk, cleaning, restaurant staff!
The hot spring bath was also nice!
The hotel was clean and comfortable!
The kids are satisfied too!

The hot springs and dinner were great. The room was spacious and comfortable.
The facility has a historic feel, but the service is good.
There's a convenience store near the lobby, which is convenient.
I thought it might be a little late, but I went to see the autumn leaves in Nasu, and since I was there, I decided to stay overnight. So, I stayed at Wellness Forest Nasu.
The facility is old, but everything seemed to be kept clean. Scratches and dents were understandable, and it did show a bit of age.
Amenity services are labor-saving, so you have to bring what you need from the lobby, as is the current...
This time, a friend introduced me to the hotel and I stayed there, and I was very pleased.
It wasn't new, but it seemed well maintained and was a comfortable place to stay.
I stayed at the Oriental Kan for one night. It took about 30 minutes to get there by bus from Nasu-Shiobara Station, but it was very comfortable. The room was only accessible by stairs, which may have been a challenge for seniors, but the room was spacious and had more than enough space. My grandparents' house is nearby, but there's no bath, so when I go back home I just come here for a day trip to take a bath. There aren't any other bathing facilities around here, so it seems to get crowded depending on the time of day.
After taking a bath, I want to drink coffee milk, so I'd be really happy if they sold Rakuoh Cafe au Lait!

Renaissance Tanagura in Tanagura Town, Fukushima Prefecture, is an integrated resort centered around sports, but it is also open to the general public.
I booked my stay there through a travel website, just like a regular hotel.

As the name suggests, it has a strong image of a sports plaza, so it seems that not many regular guests stay here.
I didn't know where the parking lot was, so I checked with the front desk and parked near the entrance.
The room was spacious and relatively clean.
The view of the mountains was nice from the balcony.
The building is old, so the balcony railings were a little rusty, but I guess maintenance...
Since it's a sports facility, even if there are two of us, we had to stay in a shared room. Tanagura Onsen on the premises is convenient. Breakfast is only served from 7:00, so if you're early in the morning, you can't have breakfast, but be aware that there are no discounts. The accommodation is a little dark at night.
We stayed overnight to use the tennis court.
Although the door creaked and the room was a little old, we had no particular inconveniences. There are both non-smoking and smoking rooms, so if you don't like smoking, we recommend making sure to request a non-smoking room. There is plenty of space for children to play both indoors and outdoors, and it seemed like a great place for families to enjoy themselves...
This facility will take care of training related to Corona, such as sports training camps and language training.

Lovely ryokan in a serene setting. Although it’s in a relatively remote area it’s easy enough to get to from the closest Shinkansen station by bus if you don’t have a car and is only a 3-4 minute walk from the bus stop.

An old-style hot spring hotel with good service
It was a fabulous stay. This Onsen hotel may be small but the staff tried the very best to assist you. The traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast were fantastic. The Onsen was also really good - they would also allocate a private timeslot for you to enjoy some solo time.
Wonderful onsen! Rotenburo is comfortable and relaxing with a great forest feeling.
Very beautiful old ryokan. We got a room with a private bath that was very warm and the scene outside was nice. The bigger outdoor bath has a great view! The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming☺️

How is this gem only rated 3.9? I had a fantastic stay. Almost all the staff were incredibly kind, the password lock was so handy, and my room was a comfortable, spacious haven that was spotlessly clean. The lounge won me over with its vinyl bebop playlist—my favorite!
The onsen, fed by the legendary "Shika-no-Yu," was cozy and perfect. As for the much-debated French dinner: it was fine! Yes, it features...
located hillside, excellent view from room and lobby, should be recent refurnish, cozy ID vibe and love the tone and cleanliness.
the restaurant staff is very friendly, had a fine dining dinner and worth the value. suprise morning breakfast buffer is alot more nicer than dinner.

Price point was very high. Rooms were nice however, and the onsen was enjoyable. We could not find the larger onsen, but we wanted to use the rotenburo sonnonreal loss there.

bath
Only the open-air bath is a cloudy sulfur spring, and the temperature and atmosphere were very good. The indoor bath is not a hot spring, but it is cleaned properly and has a clean feeling. It's a little small considering how many rooms there are.

Very close to the train station and the castle!
The entrance isn't the easiest to find, but a sign outside the hotel clearly points the way.
It was the first time in my life I'd had breakfast served directly in my room! I was delighted!
The receptionist was lovely, always ready to help and very attentive. Thank you so much!
Excellent hotel, I highly recommend it!
The entrance is hard to find. Apparently, it used to be a newspaper store. The underground parking lot is on a steep slope, so I recommend the aboveground parking lot. The rooms feel older than the Heisei era. Coffee is free. There's a microwave in the lobby. There's a vending machine for instant noodles.
This hotel is located in Shirakawa Old Town, right next to Shirakawa Station. There are many hotels around Shin-Shirakawa Station, but this is a rare find near Shirakawa Station. The exterior looks old, but it was clean and I had a comfortable stay. There was no razor, so I went to the front desk and was told it would cost an additional 30 yen. Since male guests would probably use one, I think they...
A Showa-era business hotel near Shirakawa Station. Reasonably priced for the area. A single room cost ¥5,400 on Rakuten.
The facilities are old but clean.
Breakfast is included for ¥200. Breakfast is delivered to your room.
Choose between 7:00 or 7:30 AM.
There are three parking spaces underground and two outside (in front of the newspaper store).
There's parking space for large vehicles 45 meters...

The facilities are a little old, but they were kept clean.
It was great that we could relax in the hot springs even after checking out!
We went as a couple, but there were a lot of people with children, so we thought it was nice that we could spend time there without having to worry about our surroundings.
The weather was bad, so after checking in at 3pm, we were only able to enjoy ourselves in the pool.
Very good place for family vocations
The satisfaction level was even better than the price!
I would definitely like to stay here again.
I stayed with my baby and toddler,
and there were baby chairs in the dining area, a baby bath in the bathroom, and a kids' space,
so I would especially recommend this place for families with children!
There was also a pool, which was great!
Cool place for family vocation
The room was clean and standard, and the service was enthusiastic. I misremembered the breakfast end time and went in when it was closing. Not only did they ask me to start, they also gave me instructions. Everyone was waiting silently, I quickly got the food and signaled them to close. But they waited until I left before they started to close. This is my third stay, and I am really relieved

This was the first time I used a travel coupon after the COVID-19 pandemic. From there, my love for hot spring trips was sparked, and I still enjoy hot spring trips almost every month. I was impressed by the milky white water, and it really made me realize that this is what a hot spring is. I would like to visit again.
I stayed in a room with an open-air bath. I booked through a travel site, and perhaps because it was off-season, the price was quite reasonable. The slightly greenish cloudy water with a hint of sulfur was amazing. There was only one open-air bath, so it was alternated between men and women, with women using it in the evening and men using it in the morning. There was also one private open-air bath, which cost an additional fee.

I stayed here on a solo trip.
The bookshelf was filled with Ghibli DVDs and other films, and it was very comfortable to spend time alone in my room. However, what I enjoyed most was chatting with the owner in the living room.
The owner was very kind, and I felt completely at home.
I didn't notice any issues with cleanliness, which others have mentioned.
I would definitely like to stay here again...
It's more kind of a homestay!
The owner is very nice person & very friendly!
Hospitality was too good!
Only thing which could be improved is the marshy smell in the room. This may be because the property is old.
Shower in the room was too old.
Location & surrounding is good, feels like a fair tale bungalow into woods!
This was our first stay with our two small dogs. The room was well cleaned and there was no problem. There are two baths, and you can enter when they are vacant, and you can make a reservation at night. Paid liquor, coffee, etc. were placed in the guest room passage. Appearance is good. That's why the regret inside is unavoidable. I think it would be better if I improved it based on the harsh reviews from other people, but it seems that the elderly owner is doing it alone, and he seems to have lost the meal plan due to his physical strength.
