Hotel Floracion Nasu in Nasu

What a wonderful location.
It's located on a hilltop in a vast ranch.
And yet, we were able to use the hotel's hot springs and power outlets, so there's nothing to complain about.
This was my first time camping in my car,
and I highly recommend this RV park for beginners.
The only downside is that you have to go all the way to the hotel to find the restroom, but it's only a minute or two away.

On rainy days, the muddy ground creates a completely different experience.

At night, even with the parking lot lights on,
the stars are beautiful,
and the sunrise is especially wonderful, so much so that it gets your happy hormones flowing!

Behind the parking lot, the autumn leaves are beautiful, and there's a walking route along the stream.
I'm really glad I camped here for my first time.

Most of the guests were in campervans, and their manners were excellent, and I'd like to emulate them in the future.
I'd like to return again in the future.

Premium membership to the Kuruma Tabi Club is paid once a year,
but if a family of four uses the facility, it will almost cover the cost.
The park usage fee is 2,000 yen, including power and garbage collection.
You can use the bath as many times as you like from check-in to check-out, for just 500 yen per person for premium members.
In addition, small towels and bath towels are provided in the bath area.
Breakfast is also available at a member discount, although there is a fee.
The same goes for dinner, although on busy days you may be refused dinner.
The location is also excellent as a base for sightseeing in Nasu Highlands.
Cooking outside the vehicle is prohibited, but awnings are allowed.
As the facility is a hotel, the toilets are always clean and very popular with women.
Plots 1, 4, 5, and 8 are corner lots, and lot 8 is particularly popular.
Plots are on a first-come, first-served basis on the day, so specific lots cannot be specified when making a reservation.
However, due to the high number of users, there are many ruts and puddles can form on rainy days.
There was no alcohol in the vending machine near the bath, but I did find juice, ice, and an ice maker.
It's best to assume that you won't be able to purchase alcohol and snacks locally. (There was some cheap snacks, though.)
I stayed here for two nights over the holidays, and the RV park was full both days.
This is one of my favorite RV parks.

The room was spacious and clean. The baths were well-equipped with a sauna, a cold bath, and an open-air bath, so I could stay there for hours. Breakfast was served buffet style, and everything was delicious. The omelettes they cooked for me were also great!

The meat and potatoes were delicious. Grapefruit: When I tried to take something from the bottom, it became stringy. You should be careful.

The staff are very professional. I have stayed here before, but not this one. After the epidemic, I will work hard and hope that we will meet again as glorious as before. .

The campsite offers great views, and the cute little huts and goats create a relaxing atmosphere.
The hotel toilets are open 24 hours, and the hot springs can be used as many times as you like until check-out, making it very convenient.
The walking path along the river is so pleasant that I'd love to stay for a long time.

It was wonderful hospitality, and I appreciate it.

If you choose option 1, it costs 2,000 yen? Plus, you'll get to an RV park closer to this view, but since people who park in the parking lot come to see the goats and the view while it's still light out, I chose the side where they're lined up normally as I was worried we might be in each other's way.

I chose the farthest spot, but the ground there is quite muddy so it might be best to avoid going if it's raining or just after a rain. It's great that you can use the hot springs in the main building, which is within walking distance, but there are no toilets or water sources unless you go to the main building, so that may be inconvenient.

The number of available parking spaces has increased from 5 to 8. (Photos have been uploaded.)
As you look from the stairs leading from the hotel to the second parking lot, spaces 2 through 4 are on the right, and spaces 5 through 8 are on the left.
This time we used space 1.
Space 1 offers a great view next to the hut next to the Cheese Terrace.
The fee was 4,000 yen, twice as much as spaces 2 through 8.
On days when fireworks are launched at Rindou Lake Family Farm, you can see the big fireworks from space 1.
Also, if it's a clear morning, the view is spectacular.
There's a goat house nearby, and although I only stayed for about an hour, I was able to see two goats.
They were very docile, so it was okay to pet them.
The biggest disadvantages were:
- It's a little far from the hotel.
- It was a rainy day, so the drainage around the car was poor.
- It was a rainy day, so there was water in the parking lot,
so my feet got wet going to and from the hotel.
- There was a car parked just in front of parking lot 1, so it was difficult to park.

I personally felt that the parking fee would be more convenient if it was around 3,000 yen.

*** The following is a review from a visit in August 2022. **
The parking fee was 2,000 yen per night (including power usage), and the bathing fee was 500 yen. The Kuruma Tabi website said it was 500 yen for premium members, but it was actually 500 yen for non-premium members.

The parking space is located in a corner of Hotel Floracion's second parking lot.

The floor is dirt and gravel, so your feet may be a bit of a concern on rainy days.

The parking space is mostly flat, with each car space being spacious, marked off by trees, and pylons to prevent non-premium vehicles from parking there.
I checked in at the hotel front desk.
The toilet is located in the hotel lobby and is open 24 hours a day.
Of course, it has a washlet.
The bath is open until midnight and starts at 6am, so you can use it as many times as you like during your stay, which is very appealing.
Bath towels and face towels are also provided in the changing room, which was very convenient.
The water from the water server in the changing room was delicious.
There was no place to wash dishes, so it was a little inconvenient if you cooked at home.
If you ask the front desk, they will fill a plastic container with water.
I was unsure where to dispose of the dirty water we used in the car.
There may have been a place to dispose of it if I had asked the hotel, but in the end I took it home with me and threw it away. However, I would have liked to have disposed of it when I left.
Next time I visit, I will ask first.
I originally planned to stay for two nights, but it was so comfortable that I ended up staying another night.
It was quiet at night, with the only sound I could hear being the cows, so I slept comfortably.
It's also fairly close to Penny Lane, famous for its bread, and there are various shops just a short drive away, so the location is very convenient.
This is an RV park I'd definitely like to stay at again.
