The cleaner stole my watch from under my pillow
Never gave it back
Probably not his or her first time
I hope he's fired

This was the first time I used a travel coupon after the COVID-19 pandemic. From there, my love for hot spring trips was sparked, and I still enjoy hot spring trips almost every month. I was impressed by the milky white water, and it really made me realize that this is what a hot spring is. I would like to visit again.

I stayed in a room with an open-air bath. I booked through a travel site, and perhaps because it was off-season, the price was quite reasonable. The hotel's main entrance felt small, but once inside, the interior was very open and spacious. A senior staff member greeted me with a smile. The check-in process was quick and efficient. They were polite, but only provided a brief explanation and no guidance to our room. Dinner started at 6:00 PM, which is when everyone started. This area feels like a resort.
The room was recently renovated, so it was clean. Despite being 10 tatami mats in size, it didn't feel particularly cramped. The toilet and sink were separate, and there was a shower room just before the open-air bath, so even if there were other guests, there was no need to worry about running into each other. They provided a half-portion of non-alcoholic sparkling wine in the refrigerator as a courtesy. I tried it, but it was too sweet. Since the alcohol was good, I wish they'd offered it as an option, or offered complimentary beer. The open-air bath in my room had deposits of hot spring mineral deposits on the hot water outlet, so I'm sure it was a Nasu hot spring. It warmed my body very well. However, the water volume and temperature are automatically adjusted and circulated, so it doesn't appear to be a direct hot spring (though I haven't confirmed this). The cloudiness and sulfur smell were much weaker than in the large public bath.

Dinner was a seasonal kaiseki-style meal. After being shown to my seat, I was immediately asked what I wanted to drink, which I wondered why, even though I hadn't even looked at the menu. I guess most people order beer. I wanted sake, so I asked to wait a bit. I ordered a glass of wine and sake. They seemed to want to quickly heat the hot pot and teppanyaki, and even though I declined, they kept asking me for more. I was drinking, so I told them I didn't want to eat too quickly. The third person finally left a lighter for me, telling me to take my time. She was an elderly woman with dark hair. As expected, she knows what she's doing. I was happy. The food was apparently made with ingredients from Tochigi, but I couldn't find any distinctive features and was quite ordinary. The flavors were generally light, with the sesame soup in the hot pot being the only thing a little stronger. The Yume pork was delicious. I would have preferred a bit more lean Nasu beef. The main selling point of breakfast seems to be unlimited refills of grated yam. There are so many side dishes that you might not have enough rice.
Dinner was different from what I expected, and it wasn't busy, so a room without meals or breakfast would have been enough. I had high expectations because I booked a room with an open-air bath. I was able to relax in a beautiful room, so I was very satisfied.

My family and I visited here to enjoy the cloudy water.
The slightly greenish cloudy water with a hint of sulfur was amazing. There was only one open-air bath, so it was alternated between men and women, with women using it in the evening and men using it in the morning. There was also one private open-air bath, which cost an additional fee.
The room was spacious and I thought it was very clean. We opened the window and enjoyed the buzzing insects, really feeling the autumn vibe.
The food was also delicious and we were full.
The staff were all very nice. The foreign staff worked hard and were very helpful.
I would definitely like to go again.
The directions to the facility were a little confusing, and at times I was a little worried about whether we were on the right track.

Overnight on New Year's Day.
Choose a shabu-shabu course.
One dish is 16:30 on the day? It was good to be able to order up to!
Additional order for fried octopus and grilled abalone on a ceramic plate (^ o ^) !.
Shabu-shabu is free to refill, but I couldn't eat it so much, and I didn't order any more, but it was very delicious (^ _ ^;).
Breakfast is New Year's specification, and especially the miso ozoni is very delicious and I have refilled it.
It was by far the best miso soup I've had in the last few years.
I put in a hot spring, and the room had a humidifier and a fan heater, so I was able to spend a comfortable time.
I want to repeat it in another season!

The bath was large for the number of customers, and it was good to have a sulfur hot spring.
The food was delicious, but wasn't there enough explanation?

It might be better to rent a car later! Buses and taxis are easy, but there are some shops along the way. Also, make an early reservation as it is likely to be a taxi battle. The night sky was very beautiful.

The hot spring is a turbid sulfur spring that flows directly from the hot spring.
The building looks like a recreation center, but it was very clean with some renovations.
Breakfast and dinner are voluminous.
If you are of a certain age, we recommend all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu sukiyaki. Nasu pork shabu-shabu was delicious with all-you-can-eat vegetables.
Private baths are also free.
This price makes me want to stay again.
All the employees are very kind and polite.
