Excellent hot spring situated on the plateau of Nasu. Surrounded by the forest, it is the Ideal place in summer when the heat wave hits hard. There are three different bath available, plus a central illuminated pool

There is also a free soft drinks bar opened in the morning and early afternoon, mainly during the check in time. There is a safe guard at the pool but he was half sleeping when I checked out

I found this hotel and made a reservation when I was planning to go to a hot spring in Nasu. The food was delicious and the baths were great too. It's a hotel I'd like to visit again.

I took my elderly mother with me, and we were able to see the beautiful autumn leaves, the open-air bath was very comfortable, and the food was a buffet so we could eat as much as we wanted of what we liked, so everyone had a great time without any stress

The buffet, public bath area, room, staff and etc. are all perfect!!! Especially the game center, swimming pool and the musical performance at the night

The environment is excellent, the service is great, and there are many activities to participate in at the hotel. Highly recommended!

You can simply spend a few days in the resort! It is close to the attractions so the place is perfect!

It gets crowded during meal times, so it's best to plan ahead. It was convenient to be able to use the room card to shop within the hotel. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay, so I think it was good

The staff were all incredibly friendly, and even during the busy breakfast and dinner times, everything was well-organized. Our room was spotless and comfortable, and the play area was perfect for kids

Grand Mercure Nasu Highland is a wonderful stay! I loved the panoramic mountain views and the unlimited soft-serve ice cream at the breakfast buffet 🍦 The washing machines were clean and convenient, and the strong, high-quality hairdryer was definitely a favorite

Excellent will come back and stay Mecure Nasu again. Lots of activity for kids and have an excellent free bar.

At check in, the front desk female staff briefed me that my family and I could enjoy the Night Lounge snacks later though we did not purchase the dinner nor breakfast meals

The sauna temperature was abnormally low, so it was hard to call it a sauna. We had to lay out our futons ourselves, which was a pain. Still, it was cheap, so it wasn't too bad

The hotel is a bit out of the way! It's perfectly fine if you're driving yourself!

The prices weren't expensive at all, especially considering the room rate, but I was surprised these weren't complimentary amenities. Overall, nearly everything was excellent, apart from this one issue

If you needed them, you had to purchase them at the front desk: toothbrushes for 100 JPY, razors for 200 JPY, and shower caps for 50 JPY

The hot spring was a spacious open-air bath overlooking the Nasu Five Mountains, and there was also a carbon bath, so I was able to relax. The food was also delicious, with original dishes made using local ingredients.

The baths were clean and very nice, but since the men's and women's baths are switched, I wish they had designed them with different atmospheres

It's a waste to have the baths in exactly the same design, just in different locations

The location was good as it was not far from tourist spots. We also used the karaoke room. I was worried about the smell of cigarettes, but it was 5,000 yen per room for 90 minutes, and you can bring in drinks etc

It's located on a hilltop in a vast ranch. And yet, we were able to use the hotel's hot springs and power outlets, so there's nothing to complain about

This was my first time camping in my car, and I highly recommend this RV park for beginners. The only downside is that you have to go all the way to the hotel to find the restroom, but it's only a minute or two away

Premium membership to the Kuruma Tabi Club is paid once a year, but if a family of four uses the facility, it will almost cover the cost. The park usage fee is 2,000 yen, including power and garbage collection

I thought it might be a little late, but I went to see the autumn leaves in Nasu, and since I was there, I decided to stay overnight. So, I stayed at Wellness Forest Nasu

It wasn't new, but it seemed well maintained and was a comfortable place to stay.

Amenity services are labor-saving, so you have to bring what you need from the lobby, as is the current trend, but the amenities themselves were not cheap

I ate out for dinner, so I can't speak for myself, but the breakfast had a wide variety, which was a challenge for my husband, who is a picky eater

The facility is old, but everything seemed to be kept clean. Scratches and dents were understandable, and it did show a bit of age

Lovely staff, not crowded, gave us 1 free hour use of a private, cozy onsen with a window that over looks a stream, free wifi, great dinner and breakfast, free massage chairs, they offered us one free ride to wherever we wanted upon checking out, and gave us each a free bus ticket

The food was delicious and the staff were excellent; my partner has quite a few allergies, the allergens of which tend to unfortunately appear quite often in traditional kaiseki style dishes, but the staff were very careful to offer substitutes for the dishes she was allergic to

Lovely ryokan in a serene setting. Although it’s in a relatively remote area it’s easy enough to get to from the closest Shinkansen station by bus if you don’t have a car and is only a 3-4 minute walk from the bus stop

Very beautiful old ryokan. We got a room with a private bath that was very warm and the scene outside was nice. The bigger outdoor bath has a great view! The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming☺️

The lounge won me over with its vinyl bebop playlist—my favorite! The onsen, fed by the legendary "Shika-no-Yu," was cozy and perfect

As for the much-debated French dinner: it was fine! Yes, it features cold dishes, which might not suit all palates, but I understood the concept. Personally, I'd recommend it in a heartbeat

After solo hikingin the peak fall colors, relaxing here with a hot spring and a French meal for just around ¥30,000 for two nights was a steal. At this price point, it's incredible value

suprise morning breakfast buffer is alot more nicer than dinner. onsen is very great, with outdoor onsen, may not suitable for senior as you need to walk down the stair

Almost all the staff were incredibly kind, the password lock was so handy, and my room was a comfortable, spacious haven that was spotlessly clean

I stayed with my baby and toddler, and there were baby chairs in the dining area, a baby bath in the bathroom, and a kids' space, so I would especially recommend this place for families with children! There was also a pool, which was great!
