Hotels with sauna in Nasu

The baths are large and the quality of the spring water is rich, so you can soak in a variety of hot springs in one place, and there is also a sauna

The temperature of the shower in the washing room was low, and at this time of year, it was very cold when I was washing my body. The dinner buffet was Hokkaido Fair. The boiled crab was delicious and not salty

The breakfast menu was also interesting, including the melon-flavored soft serve ice cream that was served at dinner, which was also available for breakfast, as well as black bean natto and farm coffee milk

Excellent hot spring situated on the plateau of Nasu. Surrounded by the forest, it is the Ideal place in summer when the heat wave hits hard. There are three different bath available, plus a central illuminated pool

There is also a free soft drinks bar opened in the morning and early afternoon, mainly during the check in time. There is a safe guard at the pool but he was half sleeping when I checked out

I found this hotel and made a reservation when I was planning to go to a hot spring in Nasu. The food was delicious and the baths were great too. It's a hotel I'd like to visit again.

I took my elderly mother with me, and we were able to see the beautiful autumn leaves, the open-air bath was very comfortable, and the food was a buffet so we could eat as much as we wanted of what we liked, so everyone had a great time without any stress

The buffet, public bath area, room, staff and etc. are all perfect!!! Especially the game center, swimming pool and the musical performance at the night

The environment is excellent, the service is great, and there are many activities to participate in at the hotel. Highly recommended!

You can simply spend a few days in the resort! It is close to the attractions so the place is perfect!

I've been here many times. The food is really delicious. I'll be back next time I'm in Nasu!

It gets crowded during meal times, so it's best to plan ahead. It was convenient to be able to use the room card to shop within the hotel. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay, so I think it was good

The staff were all incredibly friendly, and even during the busy breakfast and dinner times, everything was well-organized. Our room was spotless and comfortable, and the play area was perfect for kids

Amazing stay here! This chain is just very good In Japan! Staffs are excellent and room condition is very clean and neat. Will definitely visit again if in the area

Grand Mercure Nasu Highland is a wonderful stay! I loved the panoramic mountain views and the unlimited soft-serve ice cream at the breakfast buffet 🍦 The washing machines were clean and convenient, and the strong, high-quality hairdryer was definitely a favorite

Excellent will come back and stay Mecure Nasu again. Lots of activity for kids and have an excellent free bar.

Would happily stay here again!

At check in, the front desk female staff briefed me that my family and I could enjoy the Night Lounge snacks later though we did not purchase the dinner nor breakfast meals

The sauna temperature was abnormally low, so it was hard to call it a sauna. We had to lay out our futons ourselves, which was a pain. Still, it was cheap, so it wasn't too bad

The hotel is a bit out of the way! It's perfectly fine if you're driving yourself!

The prices weren't expensive at all, especially considering the room rate, but I was surprised these weren't complimentary amenities. Overall, nearly everything was excellent, apart from this one issue

It's understandable that amenities are charged for, considering the affordable room rate. The breakfast was also delicious, and I was very satisfied.

If you needed them, you had to purchase them at the front desk: toothbrushes for 100 JPY, razors for 200 JPY, and shower caps for 50 JPY

Everything would have been almost perfect, but they didn't provide toothbrushes, razors, or shower caps

The open-air bath was amazing. The room was modern, and the tableware and paintings were lovely. I'd like to use it again.

Brand new hotel with 360 view of Mt Nasu on 7/F onsen floor. Food is good with creative menu.

Dinner is ok but not the great one. Onsen is good.

The hot spring was a spacious open-air bath overlooking the Nasu Five Mountains, and there was also a carbon bath, so I was able to relax. The food was also delicious, with original dishes made using local ingredients.

The baths were clean and very nice, but since the men's and women's baths are switched, I wish they had designed them with different atmospheres

It's a waste to have the baths in exactly the same design, just in different locations

The north wind was strong on the day we stayed, and we parked on the north side of the road, so although we knew this would be difficult, it was still a struggle to remove the dead pine leaves from our car the next morning

I thought it might be a little late, but I went to see the autumn leaves in Nasu, and since I was there, I decided to stay overnight. So, I stayed at Wellness Forest Nasu

It wasn't new, but it seemed well maintained and was a comfortable place to stay.

Amenity services are labor-saving, so you have to bring what you need from the lobby, as is the current trend, but the amenities themselves were not cheap

I ate out for dinner, so I can't speak for myself, but the breakfast had a wide variety, which was a challenge for my husband, who is a picky eater

The facility is old, but everything seemed to be kept clean. Scratches and dents were understandable, and it did show a bit of age

I decided to take a bath before dinner. The large public bath is in a separate building, so it's quite a walk. The bath was quite spacious, and there was also a sauna

The room, built for sports training camps, was very spacious. The six beds were spaced out, not crammed together. There was a round table and chairs near the entrance. It was more than twice as large as my usual room

It was so spacious that it felt strange to stay there alone. I had breakfast at the clubhouse restaurant. Many people at business hotels finish breakfast early before leaving, but that was not the case here

Crossing the hotel and continuing further to the right was the cottage building. The kitchen was between the entrance and the room, and to the right of the kitchen were the washroom, toilet, and bath

I arrived at the restaurant just in time for breakfast to start, but there were no other guests there. No one else showed up while I was there. It seemed like they were enjoying a relaxing morning

May 5-6, 2025 - Accommodation Renaissance Tanagura in Tanagura Town, Fukushima Prefecture, is an integrated resort centered around sports, but it is also open to the general public

The room was clean and standard, and the service was enthusiastic. I misremembered the breakfast end time and went in when it was closing. Not only did they ask me to start, they also gave me instructions

The satisfaction level was even better than the price! I would definitely like to stay here again

I stayed with my baby and toddler, and there were baby chairs in the dining area, a baby bath in the bathroom, and a kids' space, so I would especially recommend this place for families with children! There was also a pool, which was great!

We had plans in the evening one night so asked if we could remove the dinner but they weren't able to which was unfortunate. The pool feels old too but the kids loved it and it was great to have for rainy days

Dinner had some really tasty meat shabushabu one night and sukiyaki the other night + mostly cold dishes buffet with some kid friendly choices too. Drinks were included for kids but not adults for dinner

The onsen is quite nice with an outdoor bath as well. There's a small kids room with toys and a full room with Japanese manga. The staff were all very lovely and tried their best to accommodate us

Lovely staff, not crowded, gave us 1 free hour use of a private, cozy onsen with a window that over looks a stream, free wifi, great dinner and breakfast, free massage chairs, they offered us one free ride to wherever we wanted upon checking out, and gave us each a free bus ticket

The food was delicious and the staff were excellent; my partner has quite a few allergies, the allergens of which tend to unfortunately appear quite often in traditional kaiseki style dishes, but the staff were very careful to offer substitutes for the dishes she was allergic to

Lovely ryokan in a serene setting. Although it’s in a relatively remote area it’s easy enough to get to from the closest Shinkansen station by bus if you don’t have a car and is only a 3-4 minute walk from the bus stop

Very beautiful old ryokan. We got a room with a private bath that was very warm and the scene outside was nice. The bigger outdoor bath has a great view! The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming☺️

There’s also a semi-open air bath that you can reserve for yourself and any companions for a certain period of time per day; the other baths are divided into male and female baths, however

They were also kind enough to take us to our destination on our day of departure as it was quite far from the nearest bus stop and it had snowed quite a lot the night before

The location was good as it was not far from tourist spots. We also used the karaoke room. I was worried about the smell of cigarettes, but it was 5,000 yen per room for 90 minutes, and you can bring in drinks etc

It's located on a hilltop in a vast ranch. And yet, we were able to use the hotel's hot springs and power outlets, so there's nothing to complain about

The room was spacious and clean. The baths were well-equipped with a sauna, a cold bath, and an open-air bath, so I could stay there for hours. Breakfast was served buffet style, and everything was delicious

Plots are on a first-come, first-served basis on the day, so specific lots cannot be specified when making a reservation. However, due to the high number of users, there are many ruts and puddles can form on rainy days

This was my first time camping in my car, and I highly recommend this RV park for beginners. The only downside is that you have to go all the way to the hotel to find the restroom, but it's only a minute or two away

Premium membership to the Kuruma Tabi Club is paid once a year, but if a family of four uses the facility, it will almost cover the cost. The park usage fee is 2,000 yen, including power and garbage collection

The hotel's main entrance felt small, but once inside, the interior was very open and spacious. A senior staff member greeted me with a smile. The check-in process was quick and efficient

After being shown to my seat, I was immediately asked what I wanted to drink, which I wondered why, even though I hadn't even looked at the menu. I guess most people order beer. I wanted sake, so I asked to wait a bit

The toilet and sink were separate, and there was a shower room just before the open-air bath, so even if there were other guests, there was no need to worry about running into each other

This was the first time I used a travel coupon after the COVID-19 pandemic. From there, my love for hot spring trips was sparked, and I still enjoy hot spring trips almost every month

I was drinking, so I told them I didn't want to eat too quickly. The third person finally left a lighter for me, telling me to take my time. She was an elderly woman with dark hair

They were polite, but only provided a brief explanation and no guidance to our room. Dinner started at 6:00 PM, which is when everyone started. This area feels like a resort

We then had dinner in our room. There was a wide variety of dishes and it was really delicious. The mascot cat was also adorable! Even now, several years have passed since then, and it's still talked about as a great inn

I recently stayed at this hotel for one night. Due to various circumstances, I ended up staying in a different room than planned, but the staff were considerate in every way and made my stay very comfortable

(I was surprised to hear that the bread was homemade!) The friendly cat at the reception desk was also very comforting, and I found myself thinking many times during my stay, "I want to stay another night

I stayed here two years ago and suddenly remembered it, so I thought I'd write a review because it was so good. In the morning, we had a leisurely buffet breakfast in a separate seating area

) The welcome drink included alcohol, so my partner and I, who love alcohol, were excited to drink all day, but the half-buffet dinner was so delicious that we prioritized food over alcohol

" I plan to return with friends in the summer. This was my first time in Nasu Highlands, and it was a wonderful experience
