Hotel View Palace in Nasu

How is this gem only rated 3.9? I had a fantastic stay. Almost all the staff were incredibly kind, the password lock was so handy, and my room was a comfortable, spacious haven that was spotlessly clean. The lounge won me over with its vinyl bebop playlist—my favorite!

The onsen, fed by the legendary "Shika-no-Yu," was cozy and perfect. As for the much-debated French dinner: it was fine! Yes, it features cold dishes, which might not suit all palates, but I understood the concept.

Personally, I'd recommend it in a heartbeat. After solo hikingin the peak fall colors, relaxing here with a hot spring and a French meal for just around ¥30,000 for two nights was a steal. At this price point, it's incredible value.

located hillside, excellent view from room and lobby, should be recent refurnish, cozy ID vibe and love the tone and cleanliness.
the restaurant staff is very friendly, had a fine dining dinner and worth the value. suprise morning breakfast buffer is alot more nicer than dinner.
onsen is very great, with outdoor onsen, may not suitable for senior as you need to walk down the stair.
i rate this more than 3% hotel, deserve more and sure will visit again.
ps love the key pouch too bad is not as a gift to customer.

Price point was very high. Rooms were nice however, and the onsen was enjoyable. We could not find the larger onsen, but we wanted to use the rotenburo sonnonreal loss there.

Thus seems like it might be a spot for younger couples for a romantic getaway, but in my opinion other more affordable options with better onsen and rotenburo would fit that bill better. I still struggle to understand how a young 20s couple we saw would find this location affordable for a romantic stay...

This hotel is nice to foreigners. Because, really interesting white hot springs, yummy meals, and comfortable rooms.

bath
Only the open-air bath is a cloudy sulfur spring, and the temperature and atmosphere were very good. The indoor bath is not a hot spring, but it is cleaned properly and has a clean feeling. It's a little small considering how many rooms there are.
No problem if it's not busy.

The room
The building looks like an old training facility that has been renovated, but it has a chic design and a sense of cleanliness. I was able to sleep soundly until morning with elasticity. Speaking of luxury, I would be happy if there was coffee and black tea in the room as well as green tea and burdock tea.

meal
The variety of menus is not abundant, but it seems that they are devised in various ways. In terms of quantity, it's just one step away from being full.
If there was no strange smell left on the dishes that should have been washed at breakfast, ★perfect score.

customer service
The attention and attention of the waiters is sharp and wonderful. Overall good impression. They never cross in front of customers and wait until they pass by.
The staff at the front desk also told me various things, such as when to see the fireflies, and they were kind and polite.
