Fantastic hotel! It's right by the Sakurajima Ferry, and you can even see Sakurajima Volcano from your room. It's also really close to Kagoshima Station, with a tram and bus stop right outside. Super convenient for getting anywhere!

The room is more spacious than an average business hotel, well-equipped and very clean. The location is very convenient in the city center. You can reach the Planetarium Pedestrian Street in a few minutes' walk. There are many convenience stores and restaurants nearby. The lobby is on the second floor. We stayed here for 3 nights and 4 days when we visited Kagoshima for my daughter's national club tournament. A typhoon was coming, and since I didn't bring an umbrella when I left, I thought I'd have to go to the convenience store to get one. The price was quite reasonable, but the room was larger and cleaner than I expected, probably because it had been renovated. The location was also great. 🙆‍♀️ However, the walls seemed quite thin, so it might be difficult if you miss a spot with someone on your floor (I could hear people talking in front of the elevator through the wall).

Nice small cheap place. 45 mins from the airport so dont take a taxi. Check out is 10am and 1000 every hr after that. My room had two windows with no view but made the room very cold. Breakfast is self serve with a very small menu. Located very close to the shopping and entertainment.

The sunset was also amazing. Relaxing while watching the sunset over the East China Sea was an indescribable sight. The customers were local and had excellent manners. It was soothing to be able to think deeply. The value for money was also excellent. I'll definitely go again.

It's close to the Tanegashima Yakutaka Trail and I use it when I'm in Kagoshima City. The food is filling and satisfying.

We stayed at Aqua Garden Hotel Fukumaru for our school trip! We stayed in room 408, which was a Japanese-style room! Sakurajima couldn't be seen from our room, but it looked so beautiful when we went outside🌸🏝

We had a wonderful stay at the Aqua! The staff and owner were incredibly kind and helpful and the tatami room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed one of the best made Japanese/western breakfasts ever at the hotel’s restaurant. We hope to return soon.

I felt it was an old inn. The taps made annoying noises and the indoor slippers were not new. However, the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was delicious and parking was cheap. It would have been even better if there were bottled water in the rooms.

It's very close to Izuro-dori Station on the Kagoshima tram line. There's a highly-rated tendonya (temple bowl restaurant) nearby called Ageya Daiichi, which I highly recommend. The laundry room on the second floor of the hotel was quite empty, which was a huge help. Thank you.

I used the day spa. The bathroom and washing area were spacious, and with jazz playing, it was a relaxing time for both body and mind. We stayed here 7Feb2025. The dinner is good , the hot spring is pretty hot and good. But the room is strange, i think it was a dinning room and renovated to a bed room, I will not recommend you to choose this room because no toilet in the room.

The water was always good every time.

This is a very child-friendly hotel. There are lots of toys for children in the resting area after the bath, a large grassy area where you can play ball games, a small park, and a bouncing bed. The hot springs are very smooth and comfortable, the food is delicious, and the overall cost performance is very good.

I booked this hotel through a major domestic online travel agency. To head to the hotel from Kagoshima-Chuo Station, if you're taking the city tram (streetcar), transfer at Gunmoto and get off at Kisaba, which is the most convenient option. The room is very small, old, and a bit worn. The window doesn't open, and the hallway sometimes smells of cigarettes. The only problem is that the Wi-Fi connection is really bad. But the bed is quite comfortable, and for the price, the overall package is acceptable.

Located right at a crossroads, it was a nightmare to sleep at night because of the constant traffic. The service was good; breakfast included a cup of coffee and a bread roll. The Wi-Fi was a bit slow on the first day, probably because many people were using it, but it worked fine for the next few days after most of the neighbors checked out.

Encountering a lot of bugs may change the situation. The equipment is very old, there is no sound insulation at all, and nothing seems to be updated or repaired. The hotel and rooms seemed quite old! Breakfast and other amenities were not provided. Parking is free and Wi-Fi is available. The owner handled check-in and other matters, and was very helpful. The accommodation fee was very reasonable.

It was located in a quiet area slightly outside of town. There were no chairs in the rooms, so the beds served as chairs. The only toilet with a washlet was in the shared bathroom on the first floor. The owner seemed to be the only staff member, but he was friendly and very helpful.

This hotel is attached to a golf course. This was my second time staying there, and I stayed alone in a twin room again. The last time I stayed, the open-air bath was dimly lit due to electrical work, but today it was properly repaired and comfortable. This hotel offers a buffet-style breakfast and a large public bath where you can relax and unwind.

The hot spring was very good! There are no shops nearby, so you can't get around without a car. There's nothing to eat unless you eat dinner before returning to the hotel. I thought there was a restaurant, but I found out when I checked in that I had to make a reservation by the day before... I was glad I ordered breakfast!

You could sense the hotel property had suffered quite a bit from COVID. Still they made every effort to make their hotel guest feel pampered. The Onsen was a pleasant surprise. I left a favorite hat in the room and once I contacted them, without hesitation they mailed it to my next. Destination, at their cost.

The private onsen room is located on the ground floor, on the right side of the main entrance. Wheelchair slope is available, so people with physical desirability can also use the onsen bath. Shampoo and body soap is available at the private room, as well as hair drier and relaxing space. The bathtub is not that big big you can enjoy jacuzzi if you push the button for this service.

Stayed here for two nights over the holidays. The room was nice with a view of Sakurajima. Access to the Sakurajima ferry was also good. The room was worth the price. There was a decent coin laundry. Convenience stores were a bit far away on foot. For breakfast, we went to Gusto, which was a three-minute walk away. The parking lot (additional charge) wasn't very large.

The location is good, next to Kagoshima Chuo Station. The hygiene is average. I guess they don't even change the duvet covers, just the pillowcases and flyers. It's next to the railway, so it can be a bit noisy when the train passes by.

Retro style, although a bit old, but not broken, very well maintained, ten minutes walk from the station, the alley is very quiet, better than the express hotel next to the station.

Both the front desk staff and the staff in the breakfast area were very polite and pleasant. However, there was a large gap at the bottom of the guest room door, so there was almost no soundproofing. The experience was okay. Similar to other business hotels in Japan. What’s surprising was the breakfast. It’s very traditional Japanese - miso soup, rice, furikake, some salad, raw egg. That’s all. I wish it had more options.
