Reviews
I was only able to realise the hotel will be closed from 11am on 8th Sep (check-out date) just the night before check-out, to be exact 7th Sep 11pm local time, through a notice posted inside the elevator which wasn’t even posted in the morning when I left the hotel. And none of the staff members have told me about this bizarre training issue earlier even though I checked in at the counter on 3rd Sep. I would need to store my luggages until 5pm on 8th as my flight is on 8pm that day. I would have to put my luggages somewhere else just because of their negligence and the extra luggage storage was ¥2000. I asked the staff if they were going to compensate me for the extra fee, surprisingly NO. Their irresponsible attitude really made me sick and totally ruined my impression on Japanese hospitality. If I were to know I couldn’t store my luggages till afternoon on the check-out date, I would not have booked this hotel in the first place. It felt to me that the staff were hiding about the training deliberately and travellers have no way to know what happens next. They just do what they want and don’t give a sxxx to travellers. For those who book this hotel, wish you luck.
There is also a parking lot nearby where you can get some parking fee vouchers, which is very convenient if you drive yourself.
But because the hotel is a bit old, the rooms have a musty smell. There is also a laundry room that can be used. Although the equipment is old, the basic facilities are there so it does not affect the use.
The receptionist at the hotel counter was an old man. Although we couldn't speak the language, he was still willing to help us with the problems we encountered (asking about parking).
All in all, if you don't mind the old equipment, this is a good place to stay at a good price.
• Facing Kokusai-dori, it had good access to tourist spots. It's convenient to go anywhere and is an ideal base for sightseeing.
• Good value for money, we were able to stay comfortably while keeping accommodation costs down.
Concerns
• The shower room had a limescale smell, and it would have been better if it had been cleaned a little better.
• As it was along Kokusai-dori, it was noisy at night. I think it would be more comfortable if they took measures such as improving the soundproofing of the curtains.
The service is excellent, basically all requirements can be met.
However, the cleaning of the room needs to be improved, there is a lot of dust, the cleaning is timely, and more attention should be paid to details.
The location is super good! On the Kokusai-dori, there is also a subsidy for parking, which is super good
Service: The hotel does not clean every day, but only delivers towels and bath towels at the door every day;
Breakfast: Much worse than in China, rice 🍚 + curry, mix it yourself; yogurt + miso soup, that's all
