We stayed one night in the Royal Suite with its own hotspring bathtub in the room. Didn’t realize it at the time of booking but it comes with the best dining seating location which gives the best view of the lush and tranquil garden, free private hot springs downstairs, and a huge suite room. Kaiseki dinner was just exquisite and delicious as well as the breakfast next morning. Almost like a fine dining experience. I tried the all the hotsprings available at the property: one in the suite, the private one that’s locked up (free if you get the suite), and the public bath one. We were very glad we paid the extra money to get the Royal suite as both the private springs and the tub in the room get a very nice view of the bubbling river with lush mountain in the backdrop. Highly recommended and we will be coming back when we visit Fukuoka again. We rented a car and it was a breeze and took only one hour. Located in a very sleepy quaint town called Saga.

This is a historic hot spring, and the warm water felt wonderful on my body.
The food was also delicious, and the town is very quiet, making it the perfect place to escape the summer heat.
I'd definitely like to come back again.

The hot water was amazing, and this inn was quiet and relaxing.
It was a quiet and relaxing experience. The quality of the water was excellent, and it left my skin feeling silky smooth. The temperature wasn't too hot, which was nice. It's not a very large bath, so unfortunately, I ended up with a lively group.
The food was also delicious.

Located in Furuyu, it's convenient for traveling by rental car. The ryokan is small, but I was very satisfied with the accommodations, the hospitality, and the food. As someone who majored in Japanese cuisine, the food was truly excellent. The staff were all friendly, and although the room I booked on the website differed from the actual room, the staff handled it very well, making for a very comfortable stay. I would like to express my gratitude to all the staff.
