Hotel New Otani Saga, Saga1 / 30

Saga, 1-2 Yoga-machi (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The room was very comfortable and spacious, with complete facilities and amenities. The view from the higher floor was great, and the breakfast buffet was delicious.
The hotel is facing a beautiful lake in Saga (~15 mins away from the city centre). The distance to restaurants are walkable (~30 mins) but busses there are usually 1-hour apart (last bus at 9.40 pm). The hotel also does not have a water dispenser. Instead, they have an ice dispensing machine, vending machine (for food and drinks) and microwave at common pantries on every floor.

Good experience, good breakfast, friendly staff, rooms are comfortable, parking is free
The location is convenient. Its view is very beautiful, as it's right besides the river. The reception staffs are friendly and really willing to help. They can speak fluent English, and helped us made a few calls to make restaurant reservation, check strawberry farms. Their advices on balloon and strawberry farm were both correct. The hotel is in very old fashion, i.e. keys are still being used instead...
The hotel is quite large. We checked in late at night, but luckily there was still staff available to help us. There's a park downstairs from the hotel, and a bus stop nearby where you can catch a bus to Saga Airport.

The hotel stay was generally fine, but cleaniness could definitely be improved. I was surprised to find a fire lighter tucked inside the hotel pajamas, which raises concerns about attention to detail and safety.
Nice breakfast, relaxing Mountain Views, quite place upon the top of the hill. You would enjoy your business trip more.
A modern hotel resort situated right at the top of a hill, as reflected in the its name. We were greeted warmly with a welcome cup of hot tea, warm hand towels and really good chocolates. The breakfast comes as a set and it is highly nutritious, and of high quality. I would highly recommend breakfast here. The room is clean and of a comfortable size with birds occasionally flying and chirping about...
good tease good design and good service
Very comfortable stay, highly recommended. The tatami Japanese-style room was lovely, the sunset view was amazing, and the room was huge.
This hotel, located in the Hakata Station area, offers a shuttle bus service that takes about half an hour to reach the property. However, it's important to note that on weekdays, there are only a few scheduled trips to the hotel. On holidays, the free round-trip shuttle runs all day, approximately once an hour. During my stay, which was on a weekday, only the 10 AM and 11 AM shuttle buses were available...

Excellent breakfast buffet. The room is spacious and staff are very friendly. If you drive by car, there is ample parking space here.
Nice view of the river from our room. Nice view of both the ocean and the river from the breakfast restaurant on the top floor. Breakfast is good. Sauna is good. Hot pool is average.
We booked a Japanese-style room with a sea view balcony. I really like the bike rental, shuttle service and refreshments! They agreed to book the shuttle for me via email because I cannot phone calls. Staff are nice. Room is clean and you can enjoy the public bath, including a small sauna room. All in all, this is a good place to stay with your family!
Not bad. While the room is very old, it’s kept clean. Aircon could be colder but you can open the window if you feel warm/stuffy. The onsen, relaxation lounge and free drinks at night were amazing!
Good free lounge at night with drinks and snacks. Room a bit dated and old, can open windows.
On my recent 8-day solo trip to Japan, among all the hotels I booked, yours was the most expensive and the one I had the highest hopes for. However, my actual stay was incredibly disappointing. This significant letdown compels me to provide serious feedback — your hotel utterly betrayed my trust. Two weeks before my trip, I booked a sea view room at your hotel via the Trip.com app and specifically...

The hotel room is very good! Will definitely recommend to friends.
Good: Nice and spacious room, free parking good for us to drive around, powerful shower head which served strong stream and stable temperature for nice shower, big beds, convenient shops, food and big AEON store nearby with driving distance 5 mins, nice night lounge with free flow crafted beer, popcorn, and bbq marshmallow, my daughter requested to go every night But if you’re not coming with a car...
This has to be the best hotel in Fukuoka ! The room is super spacious and beautiful. Love their in room breakfast. The view was breathtaking. They do provide lounge are as complimentary every night from 8p.m-11p.m too and it's free flow alcohol and snacks. The front desk are helpful and friendly. We will definitely come back to this hotel the next time we visit Fukuoka.
Very spacious room, nice lounge with free drinks in the afternoon and evening, lots of different alcohol to try out. There are small snacks in the evening and self made udon at 22:00. Free parking and paid onsen nearby. The staffs are all super nice and helpful, we feel very comfortable staying there. The location is deserted but free shuttle buses are available.
The rooms are spacious and generally clean Furnishings abit dated but acceptable They have daily night events and free drinks nightly Location abit deserted Need to access by car

the location is very near the subway and the room is clean. it is good
This hotel was perfect for us! The style, cleanliness, facilities, and service were all excellent. We'll definitely come back if we get the chance. The transportation was also super convenient, and we explored many places.
The breakfast included fresh fruit juice and beef, which tasted great.
The room was spacious, but I really disliked the empty, dark, and oppressive decor. While there was plenty of space, all the furniture, including the flooring, felt very basic. There was a lot of room on either side of the bed, yet no bedside tables were provided, making it seem like the furniture wasn't placed to complement the space. The same issue applied to the hot spring changing room, where the...
hotel was amazing! room is spacious & very clean, reception also very friendly. (5/5) location : very qood & convenient, 2mins walk from subway watanabe-dori station. 9mins walk from tenjin (5/5) cost : great for fukuoka & quality of hotel ($120 sgd per night for 2) (5/5) miku & I enjoyed the stay! ありがとうございます!
The hotel is right next to the subway, making it super convenient to get to Tenjin, Canal City, and Hakata Station – just a maximum of 3 stops away. Plus, there's a bus stop across the street with direct service to Fukuoka Tower. The room was quite spacious for Japan, easily accommodating two 28-inch suitcases.

The location is super convenient.
The room was extremely small for a couple to share. Not enough space for luggage. Only one coffee shop, no other restaurant or lounge. No room service. No bedside lights for reading. Room only have green tea bags, no red or black tea bags. Almost all employees at Front Desk don’t speak English, hard to get information or communication in finding out places to go. All in all, do not recommend!
Pros: The hotel is conveniently located right by a subway station, and the rooms are relatively spacious with carpeting. There's also a grocery store nearby, which I liked, and a 24-hour convenience store about a 10-minute walk away. Shopping is quite convenient. Cons: It's a bit of a walk (one subway stop) to Tenjin, and there aren't many dining options in the immediate vicinity. My room wasn't cleaned...
Amazing location and spacious room! The bathroom is in particular nice comparing to other typical hotel bathroom in Japan.
Nice hotel, close to train and breakfast offers a variety of choices. Good for a short trip.
Overall, I'm quite satisfied. It's a 5-minute walk to the subway station, clean and tidy, with complete facilities, efficient service, and a quiet environment. The only drawback is that the room is a bit small; once you open your suitcase, it's hard to walk around.

Perfect location for shopaholics- right smack in the middle of shopping malls and shopping streets with plenty choices of food, and connected to train station.
Very convenient location. There is a shopping mall and restaurant down stairs. Friendly staff.

Love the hotel location, so convenient , major department stores walking within minutes . And underground shopping street 😃
The hotel reception is at level 6 of Solaria Plaza, very convenient as Solaria Plaza is linked to Parco and other shopping center via underground link.  It takes about 10-15 mins by foot from Tenjin station to solaria plaza.  Maybe a bit confusing when exiting the station as it is a cross junction of tunnels. The hotel is quite old but big and it is very near to station. There are many shopping malls and restaurants nearby the hotel.
Everything is wonderful except the air-conditioning keeps warm in winter time. The staff helped us open the window so we can have normal room temperature.
Overall, everything was very good. However, the soundproofing in the room was quite poor, and I could clearly hear guests from nearby rooms.
The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating in changing the smoking rooms to non-smoking ones. They were considerate in helping us manage and prevent the need to change rooms, despite being fully booked.
Best service. The staff was very nice and thoughtful. We asked for room to changes clothes after a morning red-eye flight and we got we asked as a big room with mirror.
The room is really dated. No enough air convention in the room and stuffy. The air-conditioning is in weak mode. I stayed for twice during my trip. big rooms no receptionist. carpeted floors are dirty and occasionally wet. old equipment. very big room and free drinks though.

Very spacious for a Japanese hotel. Loved the kitchenette, I saved lots of money by making my own breakfast and the massage chair was great. I would definitely stay here again.
A very nice hotel with affordable price
Initial impression of the staff behind the desk was that he didn't appear very attentative, but that might have been due to a lack of English. Room itself is okay, spacious enough but is more like a small apartment than a hotel room. There is a kitchen (which we never used) and a massage chair. I always stay here when I come on business. The rooms are spacious and relaxing, so I can relax and unwind. The amenities and drinks are also great. The breakfast food is delicious!
The ambiance is charming, and the location is close to Hakata Station. The staff are excellent—polite and helpful. There's free parking with multiple entries, making it perfect for trips based in Fukuoka.
I had a dinner party there that night, so I decided to stay overnight. The room was very relaxing, and I was able to enjoy the jacuzzi and sauna. I felt like I was at a resort for a while, and I was sad to leave the room. The breakfast was also delicious. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.
Hip hotel, hip food, room, balcony, all-inclusive food~ And a hotel with a 2:00 PM check-out time ♥️❤️🩷 Stayed here twice. Young, casual, yet professional staff! The Wi-Fi at this hotel is absolutely, incredibly, unbelievably bad. It's the worst I've ever experienced in any hotel, both domestically and internationally. I couldn't even send a WeChat message. The soundproofing is also poor; I could clearly hear the sound of the next-door room's door being unlocked. The service was okay, but everything else was just so-so. I won't be staying here again.
About 10 mins walking distance from Hakata Station and nice restaurants are just opposite to the hotel. A reputable hotel but too old amenities, run-down design and aircon isn't working well with consistent noises.
Although the hotel is a bit older, the service and hygiene standards still meet IHG's expectations. The location is excellent, less than a 10-minute walk from Hakata Station (exit 22), and it's all flat ground, so no issues with luggage. Hakata Station has Hankyu Department Store, and downstairs there are many restaurants, cafes, and bakeries.
The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Hakata Station. The decor is over ten years old, but the service is excellent. The complimentary bottled water provided by the hotel is also good, and the breakfast selection is decent.
The room is tidy, clean and spacious enough to have 2 luggage opened wide. The location is pretty good. There are convenient stores nearby and most importantly, it’s very close to the jr station and the bus terminal. If you will go to places far away from hakata that requires travelling such as itoshima and yufuin, this hotel is definitely a good option.
The location is excellent, just a 10-minute walk from Hakata Station, making it super convenient for getting around. The surrounding area is great with plenty of amenities for dining and shopping. The hotel itself is very clean and tidy. The room, though small, had everything I needed. I didn't hear any noise during my stay.
This stay was absolutely perfect! The hotel ambiance is elegant and quiet, with no noise disturbances whatsoever. The room facilities are complete and very well-maintained, and the bathroom amenities are high quality. The staff are friendly and the housekeeping is prompt. The hot spring is good! Highly recommended!
A 7-minute walk from the subway station, the hotel breakfast is really good, and you can enjoy the hot spring on the rooftop. I always choose Mitsui hotels whenever I go to Japan. The only downside is that the rooms are still a bit small.
Great location with plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. Easy walk to Hakata Station, making travel convenient. The staff were friendly and polite, enhancing the overall experience.
The room was just okay. The bathroom had a pretty strong odor, and I had to specifically ask for toiletries at the front desk. Fukuoka, 4-4-10 Nakasu Hakata-ku (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The front desk employee very professional and friendly. Enjoy the stay with excellent service.  The room is clean just one small point on; the headboard bed was a little dusty so I clean up a bit and it was ok.
Location is nearby restaurants and shopping. Although it is in the interesting redlight district
Hotel location good and Canal City in walking distance, but room cleaning is not provide every day, maybe there is a new rule in Japan hotel, even my second hotel in this trip also provide cleaning services on alternate day
The hotel is very minimalistic but the location is excellent. The public bath is also quite enjoyable. However for families, remember that Nakasu is a night club/karaoke area at night!
The location of the hotel is prefect just few mins walk to the station. The room is not too small when compared with other hotels in Japan. However the toilet is small and they only provide the room cleaning service once in five night stay.
The hotel is not very big, but it has great service.
