This is the PARK family who stayed with you recently.
We didn’t realize that you had come to pick us up at the station, and we spent some time taking photos there, so you had to wait for us longer than expected. We’re very sorry about that.
We made the reservation so our children could experience a traditional Japanese ryokan, and both the kids and my husband absolutely loved it.
The onsen was wonderful, the location was perfect for exploring Hita, and especially the breakfast—it was truly delicious.
Thanks to you, we were able to rest very comfortably and had a great stay.

Having booked a special room, I had high expectations for it, but when I was actually shown to it, although it was spacious, it didn't feel particularly special. On the flipside, the food at both dinner and breakfast was delicious, and it was clear that they had carefully and lovingly prepared the dishes, using only the finest ingredients and incorporating Hita traditions. My friend and I were deeply impressed, and we were able to enjoy our meals at our leisure. Since the day we stayed was a weekday, we were able to relax in the building and baths without bumping into other guests. It was a place I'd like to stay at again, both for the food and the relaxing atmosphere.

Very nice traditional Hotel. I had the luck to have the private pool for me the whole day and Mao is a really cool host! It was really nice to meet him. The hotel and the rooms are beautiful, the rooms very large and filled with everything you could want. I was traveling alone, but I imagine it’s very nice for couples as well. I will definitely go there again when I get the chance! Especially to read some more books in the library/lounge!

All the staff were really friendly and the room was much bigger than the pictures show. The food was especially delicious so I want to come here again next time I come to Hita.

It was clean and I was able to spend a comfortable time there. The food at the restaurant next door, Akikoso, was also excellent, and especially since it was New Year's Eve, they even served us toshikoshi soba noodles, which we enjoyed. Furthermore, the breakfast on New Year's Day was a very elaborate osechi dish, which allowed us to welcome in the new year. I would like to use it again.

We really enjoy our stay at Hotel Kazahaya. If anyone visits Hita, I strongly recommend to live there more than one night.

Beautiful, clean and well-maintained Japanese style hotel with lovely onsen (hotspring bath), great food and last but not the least...wonderful hospitality! I was there several times with my family, and have always had a nice stay. It is not advertised as a child-friendly hotel but they make it very nice and accommodating for everyone, including small children like mine when we were there and it was quite nice. The owner speaks English, which my husband (non-Japanese) always appreciates when visiting this place :) It is situated in a nice Mameda-machi area with lots of cafes, shops and restaurants nearby. This is a place we always pay a visit to when we are in Japan. Can absolutely recommend to everyone.

This is a small family-owned hotel. The host Mr. Mao speaks English well and he is a thoughtful and friendly guy that makes us feeling very welcome! He gave us tips about the local attractions and restaurants. Each hotel room is huge by Japanese standard. The western style room has private bathroom and is sparkle clean. We would stay there again!
