Hotel Tosaji Takasu in Kochi

I checked into this business hotel that offers breakfast on September 22, 2025. Its facilities and services are well-suited for solo travelers. The restaurant on the second floor has a beverage machine that is open all day. It offers four types of drinks: red tea, green tea, coffee, juice, and water, with both hot and cold options. There are four coin-operated washing machines and four coin-operated dryers on the first floor.

There are three restaurants next to the hotel serving dinner. The hotel restaurant starts serving Japanese breakfast at 7:00 AM. Condiment packets, cutlery, towels, miso soup, and rice are provided for self-service.

I found and booked this hotel because the hotel I usually stay at in Kochi city had an outrageous price of 20,000 yen per night.

The room isn't particularly spacious, but the unit bath has been renovated and is very clean. It's a bit inconvenient that there isn't a desk, but I have no complaints.

The hotel is located at an odd intersection, so you may have trouble finding a parking space at first.

The parking lot isn't particularly difficult to find, and the front desk staff aren't particularly helpful or annoying.

Breakfast is semi-self-serve. You can't choose your side dishes, but the portion and flavor were more than adequate.

Maybe I didn't have high expectations when I stayed here, but it was a lot more comfortable than I thought it would be.
