7 Days Hotel in Kochi

Such helpful staff, great all-around. Arigato 🙏🏾. Highly recommend this place if you need to rest during the Shikuko pilgrimage.

The rooms size and conditions were pretty good for what you are paying for. Note that everything is smaller than if you were in America, but it was clean and comfortable.

Good basic business hotel with a beautiful lobby, in a great location. Rooms come with breakfast and there is onsite parking available.

Cozy nice room. Small but equipped. Comfy bed. Simple but tasty breakfast.

This is a newer budget hotel in downtown Kochi, and it's about a 15-minute walk from the castle and Hirome Ichiba, and the Sunday Market. It's clean and new, and features a complementary breakfast of baked goods and coffee in the mornings. It seems to be people with younger people in town to attend a wedding.

We've stayed here twice with our children, staying in two rooms connected by a door.

The rooms are on the small side, and there isn't a lot of parking on-site (you have to look for their parking annex).

The good thing is the hotel, besides being new and clean, is within walking distance of Kochi Station (there's actually a tram line from the station with a stop two blocks away).

The neighborhood around the hotel is a little on the boring side, but the Obiya-machi covered shopping arcade is less than a ten-minute walk away. This is important because it rains so much in Kochi. As mentioned, the tram line is quite close by as well.

If we were to return to Kochi City again (no sure thing; we've been here twice, and we love it, but it's a little out of the way for us), we would probably look for lodgings in Tojinmachi, closer to Hirome Ichiba and the castle. It has more character.

But if you're searching for a budget hotel this place is a good choice.
