It is a very conveniently located hotel but rather on a traditional side. It is well kept but some details feel old. The view of the Kochi Station and surrounding mountains was beautiful and the breakfast restaurant is spacious, clean and so mind opening. The food is on a "okay" side. Nothing fancy and just satisfactory. It is right at the station, a little far from the main entertainment district. Service was good.

The air conditioner in the room has no cooling function, only heating. It's too hot, and the window can't be opened. It's too close to the road and very noisy. It's ok except for the breakfast.

It is the largest room I have stayed in in Japan, and the location is also good. I recommend staying here

Hotel is in front of JR Kochi Station. Location is very strategic. We booked twin bed and the room is quite big. This is one of the best (3 star hotel) that we stayed when we visit shikoku area.

The location is very good, just opposite Kochi Plaza, you can see it when you look up. The room facilities are good and the price/performance ratio is very high. The only drawback is that the central air conditioning can't be turned off, there is noise, and it's too hot to sleep in the middle of the night

Very convenient location, just opposite to the JR station. We can have a view of JR station from our room.
The restaurant - Rita Shokudo, which is not far from the hotel, is super good.
The room is standard Japanese size but the room is good in size for 2 persons.
About 10 to 15 mins walk to the main shopping street and food market.

Within 5 minutes walk from Kochi Train Station to the hotel. Not much eateries in the immediate 5 minutes radius but if you take a 10 minutes walk down or 5 minutes tram ride, you can find an entire street of local shopping and eateries. Do visit the Hirome Market and Kochi Castle which is nearby too!

Hotel receptionist do not speak much English but they are super hospitable and easy to communicate via English with them using an amazing translation device they have! Had to do luggage delivery service and they were super helpful!

Would definitely stay in this hotel the next time we visit Kochi!
