What a classic Japanese style Ryokan with Tocuh for western room (in case you don't want to enjoy Japanese tatami room)

Huge rooms, spotless room infact whole hotel was spotless,

Free drinks including some alcoholic in lounge until 10pm,

Outdoor bath from 10th floor is one of the best thing I like about this hotel.

Good thing all directions, menu & other details are in English too,
Only small concern is variety of Breakfast was little less,

Overall very comfortable stay.

Very relaxing and good stay with their 3 onsens in this hotel. Just 1 feedback to get hotel shuttle sending guests to town or near by spot location will be more perfect

As the inn is located on the banks of a fast-flowing river, I thought I might be able to hear the sound of the river at night, but the windows facing the exterior walls were double-glazed, providing soundproofing and protection from the cold, making it a great inn.
The dinner venue was in the annex, which was about a five-minute walk outdoors. I considered enjoying the hot springs as soon as I arrived at the inn, but I thought it would be a bit rude to walk outside after a bath, so I decided to wait until after dinner to bathe.
There was also a dining venue in the main building, so I thought it would be better to avoid having to move outdoors if possible.

We had a problem with our reservation (meals), and even when we presented the confirmation email attached to our smartphone that was sent to us at the time of booking, they bluntly demanded we check the details displayed on Shintaki's website (which showed different meal plans). We asked them to look into it, but they replied that it was up to the customer and that Shintaki would not do it. They offered to charge an additional 3,000 yen per person, so we reluctantly agreed, but my wife felt that their manner of speaking and handling was inappropriate for a customer-oriented business. While we were waiting for dinner, another staff member came into our room and asked if they could take photos of the reservation email and confirmation, which we agreed to. If they had treated us like this from the beginning, we wouldn't have been offended, but they eventually came over during our meal to tell us that there was a problem with the display on the reservation website and that there was no additional charge. They said they would inform the reservation website of the error and charge us, but I don't think that a customer's complaint, regardless of the outcome, would be dissatisfied if they just said, "We'll look into it." The food was very satisfying, and the hot springs were well-designed and enjoyable. However, it was disappointing.

The open-air bath at Sennen no Yu seems to be flowing with the river,
which is very impressive and I really liked it.
I'd like to return someday.

The service from staff was excellent and very thoughtful. Food, although kaiseki, had interesting modern touches and was very good.
Pity it doesn’t have the onsen town feel of Shibu-Onsen and the like, but would recommend it for a few days stay. We’d likely return in future.

Take siteseeing bus from Aizu-wakamatzu Station and short walk. Good location.

I am very satisfied with my stay this time. The hotel has been renovated and the room is large and comfortable. The hot springs and meals are also great! We went there when the leaves were just beginning to turn red, and the scenery was great.
