This hotel offers incredible value for money, and the hot springs weren't crowded at all, which was a huge plus. The dinner was absolutely fantastic, a real highlight! 👍 After dinner, there was even an acrobatic show in the lobby.

Not very accessible as we need to connect 2 trains from Tobu-Nikko to the Kinagawaonsen station. In addition have to take a taxi to the Onsen Hotel. Walking takes about 20 minutes which is not advisable in the winter season.

The room was spacious, the food was delicious and it was a wonderful day.

It was immaculately clean. The service was also very polite and attentive, which I truly appreciated. We had both dinner and breakfast, and the food was delicious, making for a perfectly satisfying trip.

The facilities are slightly dated, but that vintage charm is precisely what makes for such a unique experience.

The hotel is great! The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with many facilities like karaoke, a game center, and more. I visited with my family, a total of 14 people, and they were able to arrange a private room for us for both dinner and breakfast. Both meals were buffet-style and absolutely delicious.

The onsen experience was wonderful, and the view from the onsen was fantastic, with a beautiful view of the Kinugawa River.

However, there was one issue: when we checked in, the reception took our passports for photocopying. Unfortunately, they missed returning one of the passports to us. It wasn’t until after we checked out and reached our next stop that we realized one passport was missing. We had to go back to the hotel to take it.

Despite this, the overall experience was great, and I would still recommend the hotel.

The onsen is very nice and relaxing and the food was superb. However, the rooms we stayed at had a stinky fish smell that is hard to stand. This may be due to the age of the hotel since it had quite a history.

Hotel is overlooking river with hot spring baths. The hotel is very traditional with futon bedding that is set out by the staff on the floor. The hotel is old, but very clean. It has been renovated and very modern, yet also looks very 60s modern. It has public baths for men and women as well as private hot spring rooms available to rent for 45 minutes. We rented a private room which had an 4 person indoor tub and two single person outdoor tubs. The outdoor tubs in cold weather are awesome! Water is very hot and air is cold which is very pleasant. Only had the buffets, very good with mix of traditional Japanese food and western dishes. Dinner had super fresh blue fin tuna sashimi as part of buffet. Se
