Excellent hotel with a big public ‘onsen’ bath. Route-Inn is a national chain but this location was exceptionally good
This is a Japanese hotel chain, mostly located in rural areas or small towns. I've stayed at this branch in Kumamoto before. The location is excellent, in the center of Kesennuma, next to a BRT bus stop. However, the area is sparsely populated, being one of the areas most severely affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake.
Love this place, perfect for one or two people. It is a business hotel. Breakfast is delicious. Onsen is fantastic
Small but clean, quiet room. Close to
Shopping, restaurants, & bus line.
I stayed at some Route Inn hotels on my MCT hike and this one was the best. The location is convenient next to the trail, there are many good restaurants nearby and BRT is just a few minutes away. Staff was very kind and helpful. I loved the public bath and that they offer everything you need: beautiful clean, functional room, laundry, excellent breakfast and a comfortable friendly atmosphere. Good...
I used this hotel for the KESEN ROCK FESTIVAL.
It was new and very clean, and there was a shopping facility opposite, so it was very convenient.
There was a welcome drink server in the lobby, and they even provided sports drinks and chilled jelly to prevent heat stroke.
The amenities were great, and the large public bath was great for relaxing.
The breakfast buffet also offered a variety of Japanese...

Tohoku region, Fukushima, 1-15 Mikawa Minami 🧭 Map
Conveniently located with friendly staff. Comfortable rooms, but the bed was a little too firm.
Location is good but stores around here only open at 10am so youre limited to the hotel breakfast.
A hotel that can't let its guests sleep doesn't deserve to be called a hotel. I stayed for three nights, and every night the noise from upstairs and next door continued until 1 AM. You could feel the vibrations from various rooms even in the hallway, let alone when lying in bed. The breakfast was decent but unfortunately exactly the same for all three days. I won't choose this hotel again.
Situated adjacent to Fukushima station, the hotel offered excellent service, comfort and convenience. The staff warmly welcomed me upon check-in and each morning and evening, and the room was clean and large by Japanese standards. The buffet breakfast shouldn't be missed.
Clean, close to convenience stores and the station. The station has many restaurants.
Our stay in the triple room was comfortable. Place was clean and convenient with Family Mart right next to the hotel.
Slight issue about the WiFi in the room that kept being disconnected.

High CP value hotel. Free breakfast and free welcome drinks. 150+ parking lots
I stayed here for two nights for my daughter's recital. The hot springs were very relaxing. The bed was a little hard, which was a bit disappointing, but if you like a firm bed, it might be fine.
I searched for a place with a parking lot, a coin laundry, and a large public bath.
It's not too far from the city center by car.
I'm also satisfied with the rooms and facilities.
It was a little disappointing that the public bath was smaller than other Route Inns I've stayed at, and the flow of the breakfast buffet was a little hard to understand.
The staff were very polite and helpful.
ベッドの寝心地がよかった
大浴場も気持ちがよがった
連泊でエコ清掃にしたら、自販機で使えるコインがもらえた
館内着もよかった
朝御飯もありがたい
The correspondence of the staff was very polite. The room was clean and I stayed comfortably.

Super hotel, comfortable room with everything you need. Quiet night. Staff available and pleasant. A good night in Hirosaki.
It's a bit of a walk from Hirosaki Station, but the room was clean and I was satisfied with the price.
Overall, we were very satisfied with the hotel's facilities and service.
The standard room we stayed in was clean and hygienic, but the bed was a bit small. The soundproofing was not okay.
The hotel is about the same quality as Tokyo Inn, but the price doesn't justify the room facilities. I wouldn't recommend it at all.
Location is not convenient
Pretty dark at night time!
Restaurant and Pubs are walkable!
The shower nozzle was old so water sprayed in all directions which was a bit disappointing, but other than that it was fine.

Comfortable stay and great Breakfast
Comfortable stay for business trip.
Breakfast was so satisfying.
Hotel is as per review. Lots of parking which is my primary needs.
I stayed here for business. I really appreciate the large free parking lot, which is a great thing for a Route Inn. I'm also happy that there is a large public bath, as always. I'd like to stay here again if I have the chance.
The price is cheap and breakfast is included. This time I was with my son who is an elementary school student, and we slept in the same bed, so it was a good deal at just 2,000 yen extra.
There was a large public bath, so I was able to relieve my fatigue and was very satisfied.
Although small, the room was fully equipped, very clean, and the details were well done. It's very close to the station, and even though Japanese communication wasn't always smooth, they tried their best to accommodate our requests. When checking in, you can tell the front desk you need a quiet room, otherwise the Shinkansen noise on one side is quite loud and can affect your sleep.

The TV's battery was low and I couldn't change the channel while in bed.
Also, the TV remote didn't have a timer, so I was worried I'd fall asleep and leave it on until morning, which kept me awake.
Maybe there was a control but I just didn't know how to operate it?
There was a buffet as a group was staying, but for 2,000 yen, there were very few dishes and I couldn't get coffee, so I felt it was very...
Most hotels check out time is 11 o'clock, but this one 10 o'clock, when I check in asked if 11 o'clock check out, the staff replied that extended check out need to add 2000 yen, so we even did not extend check out time, to the next day 10:05 just carrying luggage to leave the hotel room, the room phone rang.
The location is great and the breakfast was good for the price.
Since it was during Golden Week, there was a line for breakfast, but the turnover rate was good and the employees were frequently restocking.
It was used at the end of November 2021. The hotel is located on the right side of Kitakami Station, and there is a two-story parking lot on a flat surface and behind the hotel.
Stable route-in. Cleaning is said to be chitin, but is the building a little old? There are only two outlets and I borrowed an extension cord to use the humidifier. It's a little inconvenient because there is no outlet at the...

Outside the center unfortunately, rest very ok
The hotel staff are very kind and the hotel is beautiful. There is a convenience store right in front of the hotel, so you can have dinner at the hotel.
The hotel has good food, is clean, and is a good deal.
However, when I booked through trip.com, they added an extra fee because it was booked with a student discount.
You need to be careful when booking through trip.com.
Wonderful hotel. Single room was really big for japanese standard and had everything you need to spend the evening after dinner (TV, wifi, kettle with tea bags, fridge). Far from bus station. About 25 mins walk. Breakfast is very good with a wide variety of choice. Onsen is good. Service is friendly. Surrounded by Lawson, 7 eleven and family mart. Lots of shops around.
I think this hotel is in a great location and offers excellent service. However, it's a 20-30 minute walk from Yamagata Station, so if walking is too much for you, I recommend taking a taxi.
It's a short walk if you stroll around town while sightseeing, so don't worry about that.
Also, there's a hot spring on the first floor, but it's open until midnight, so if you want to take a night bath, there...
Perfectly comfortable and in a very good location in the center of yamagata.
I booked a smoking room with twin beds. I was able to spend a comfortable time with my friend and was very satisfied.
There was hair on the shower head.
There was a coffee stain on the surface of the kettle. I wonder if they didn't wipe it. It's a shame. There is a large public bath, but it's not very spacious and there were other families in it, so we gave up on using it.
The whole hotel gives an old impression.
The air conditioning is centrally controlled and the temperature cannot be set.
The bathtub is small and it's not possible to relax in it.
I think there is a reason why it is cheap.
There is a multi-story parking lot behind the hotel where you can park for 750 yen per night.
I think the Washington Hotel in front of Yamagata Station is several times better.

The staff in this hotel were so helpful, i had lost some items and the staff went out of their way to assist me in retriving them back. Really appreciate their help for this. The room was big and clean as well, location was very convenient, less than a 5 min walk away from Akita station for the shinkansen.
The hotel service was excellent. The staffs speak good English. The staffs also very helpful. Room are big and very clean. The bathroom is very clean and looks new. Very worth the stay. Will definitely recommend it
This was our first trip since our youngest child was born. We were a little worried because we were so excited, but everything went smoothly. The hotel was in a great location, and we enjoyed visiting Senshu Park and the station. We would like to use this hotel again if we have the opportunity. Thank you very much.
The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was large. Free coffee pods and bath products were provided. It's within a 10-minute walk of the train station and even closer to Qianqiu Park.

Good hotel with good service. We had onsen for free
The hotel is located right next to the highway, making it very convenient if you are driving to other cities. It’s about a 15-minute drive from Aomori Station.
Breakfast is included, but the selection is limited, and the 9:00 AM cutoff time is a bit early. The room facilities are somewhat dated, and the duvet was a little small.
The overall experience was positive. The breakfast was adequate and good and eventho was until 9am, they allow you to eat breakfast past the time. The checkout time was a tad early at 10am. There are 2 nice restaurants next to hotel and Lawson convenience store nearby and a shopping place too. The best part is we could park our car for free right in front of the hotel. Its located not far from Aomori...
There was plenty of free, flat parking, which was a relief. The location isn't ideal as it's on a busy road. However, the large public bath was great for unwinding. It was convenient to have a dinner option available on-site, and breakfast was quite good.
The room isn't huge, but it's pretty good value for money. There's a hot spring downstairs, and the parking lot is large and free.

it’s really close to the station. Plenty of variety for breakfast. Near to attraction as well
The best things about this chain hotel are its location and price. Every branch seems to be right by a JR station and bus stop, which is super important in snowy Aomori. Plus, the price is really good. The free breakfast doesn't have a ton of options, but they do have hot rice and miso soup, which is a nice touch.
I had a pleasant stay here for a couple nights.
It's located very close to the Railway station with dining and shopping options just down the street.
The room was of a good size, very clean and the staff mad me feel welcome from the moment I arrived.
Excellent location, only 1 minute from the bus station. Staff was very helpful by checking in and out, but the English language was not the best. Amenities were missing, but after asking they provided some extras. Big minus, from two sets of washing and drying machines, only one set was working and that was a really big issue.
So, for one night is ok.
Traveling with family, I booked a single room for my older child. The standard single room had a very large bed and was spotlessly clean. The breakfast the next morning was delicious. The hotel's location is excellent, and it offers great value for money.
The hotel's location is excellent, right across the street from Aomori Station. Unfortunately, there was a lot of snow on the roads, making it difficult to drag my luggage into the hotel. Just one more street over are the Apple Factory and Nebuta House. It's a shame I couldn't visit Hirosaki due to the snow causing train cancellations.

I would definitely like to stay here again when I travel to the Tohoku region.
It was conveniently located near the station. I was able to choose the amenities I needed, and the breakfast buffet was available from early morning with a decent variety, which I appreciated.
I used this hotel for business this time.
It's located right in front of the station, making it very easy to find. There's a Lawson convenience store within walking distance, which was very convenient.
There aren't many restaurants nearby, so those who prefer eating out might find it a little inconvenient, but it should be fine for those who are content with eating at the hotel or buying convenience...
True to the Toyoko Inn chain, the location is excellent, and it is nice that they offer a free breakfast. (There are various options available in addition to what is shown in the photos.) You must use the underground passage to get to JR Station. Bars and other establishments were located near the JR Station.

I stay here 6 nights, clean and comfortable
"Location is a bit far from main station and the guest rooms are showing their age. The Japanese-style breakfast is impressive with many options, and the complimentary late-night ramen is a delicious highlight of the stay."
Dormy Inn is amazing! They have ramen for a late-night snack, popsicles after the hot springs, and Yakult in the morning. Just being in the hotel is incredibly satisfying.
I stayed here last year and found it very convenient. I will stay here again this year. This time I found the washing machine, it is on the 3rd floor, 2.5.8. I only went to the 8th floor, which has 3 washing and drying machines, and there are many washing machines, so you don't have to worry about not being able to grab a washing machine.
But the aisle is a bit narrow this time. If you spread out...
The room is very big, there is a large bath on the second floor, free popsicles and Yakult, there is ramen for supper at night, the service staff are very nice, and it is very close to the station as long as you take the overpass.
The hotel rooms are not big but clean and tidy. The large public bath on the second floor has 3 hot water pools, 1 cold water pool, and an oven. In the evening, you can enjoy free ramen and ice cream. The breakfast is delicious with local specialties. It is recommended to stay when visiting Koriyama.

Local Japanese business hotel. Rooms are typically small. Toiletries are all provided. Service was friendly and efficient. Plenty of free parking lots. Breakfast selection is okay, can get by. Some rooms have the view of Mount Iwaki.
Because of the unpredictable weather during the Hirosaki cherry blossom season, we had to book another branch of Roo-Yak in the face of the skyrocketing room rates. The location of the Hirosaki branch is quite good, while the Joto branch is far away. It costs about 1,100-1,200 yen to take a taxi from Hirosaki Station. It is very convenient to stay here during the Hirosaki cherry blossom season. Moreover...
The hotel is beautiful, comfortable, and has parking. It is easy to go to Hirosaki Castle in less than ten minutes. The staff are very helpful and provide good details about the stay and sightseeing around the city. If I have a chance, I will stay again.
The breakfast was great. The communal bath on the first floor was great. The room was good, and even the price was reasonable for cherry blossom season in Hirosaki. The only downside is the location - it is some 25 minutes away from Hirosaki station on foot, and 40 minutes away from the castle which is probably going to be your main destination in Hirosaki. Still a good value for its money.
I booked this hotel after going to see the cherry blossoms at Hirosaki Castle. There were convenience stores and restaurants nearby, and the hotel was clean and I was satisfied. The business hotel's breakfast buffet was also good.
Overall, I was very satisfied, but the rice at the breakfast buffet was hard, which was disappointing. The part that was exposed to the air had dried out and was so hard that it was difficult to eat. Fantastic Higashiyama Onsen♨️ The buffet was amazing, and the hot springs were so relaxing 😌 The staff's service attitude was excellent 👍🏻
The friendly service, delicious meals, outdoor hot springs, and even the shuttle service made this a perfect two-day, one-night stay. I'm so grateful that I was able to book this hotel at such a low price, even though it was a weekend! I'd love to stay here again next time I visit the Aizu area.
The room was very large and well-divided for convenient use. The staff provided excellent service in all departments.
This was my first time staying at this hotel, and I was planning to visit Izasumi Shrine.
The hotel was smooth from pick-up upon arrival to check-in, and they even offered welcome drinks.
I thought, "Maybe they're leaning toward the all-inclusive trend these days?" but I was a little disappointed when they only offered coffee and juice...
The room size was pretty good, like a slightly larger business...
An average hot spring hotel, not as beautiful as I'd imagined. The hot spring design was thoughtful, but the buffet food quality was just okay. The artificial beef was a definite drawback. Not a top choice.

Great stay here with awesome amenities at the hotel. Would highly recommend for hanami season!
LOVE LOVE LOVE the location, choose it to attend the cherry blossom festival!! Onsen was great too, with late night noodle a plus. only down-side is price. it is pricy as i think peak season for cherry blossom
The hot spring bathhouse also has cold drinks and manga available, and there's free ramen in the evening. Plus, the hotel is close to tourist attractions.
The double bed was really cramped for two people, so we didn't get a good night's sleep. The hot spring overnight stay during cherry blossom season was a nice bonus. The afternoon tea and desserts from 2-6 PM were pretty good. The late-night noodles were very mediocre, but the egg and broth were excellent! I often stay at this hotel when I'm on business trips.
