Excellent hotel with a big public ‘onsen’ bath. Route-Inn is a national chain but this location was exceptionally good

This is a Japanese hotel chain, mostly located in rural areas or small towns. I've stayed at this branch in Kumamoto before. The location is excellent, in the center of Kesennuma, next to a BRT bus stop. However, the area is sparsely populated, being one of the areas most severely affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake.

I used this hotel for the KESEN ROCK FESTIVAL. It was new and very clean, and there was a shopping facility opposite, so it was very convenient. There was a welcome drink server in the lobby, and they even provided sports drinks and chilled jelly to prevent heat stroke. A hotel that can't let its guests sleep doesn't deserve to be called a hotel. I stayed for three nights, and every night the noise from upstairs and next door continued until 1 AM. You could feel the vibrations from various rooms even in the hallway, let alone when lying in bed. The breakfast was decent but unfortunately exactly the same for all three days. I won't choose this hotel again.

Situated adjacent to Fukushima station, the hotel offered excellent service, comfort and convenience. The staff warmly welcomed me upon check-in and each morning and evening, and the room was clean and large by Japanese standards. The buffet breakfast shouldn't be missed.

I stayed here for two nights for my daughter's recital. The hot springs were very relaxing. The bed was a little hard, which was a bit disappointing, but if you like a firm bed, it might be fine.

I searched for a place with a parking lot, a coin laundry, and a large public bath. It's not too far from the city center by car. I'm also satisfied with the rooms and facilities.

It was a little disappointing that the public bath was smaller than other Route Inns I've stayed at, and the flow of the breakfast buffet was a little hard to understand. The staff were very polite and helpful.

It's a bit of a walk from Hirosaki Station, but the room was clean and I was satisfied with the price.

Overall, we were very satisfied with the hotel's facilities and service. The standard room we stayed in was clean and hygienic, but the bed was a bit small. The soundproofing was not okay.

I stayed here for business. I really appreciate the large free parking lot, which is a great thing for a Route Inn. I'm also happy that there is a large public bath, as always. I'd like to stay here again if I have the chance.

The price is cheap and breakfast is included. This time I was with my son who is an elementary school student, and we slept in the same bed, so it was a good deal at just 2,000 yen extra. There was a large public bath, so I was able to relieve my fatigue and was very satisfied.

Although small, the room was fully equipped, very clean, and the details were well done. It's very close to the station, and even though Japanese communication wasn't always smooth, they tried their best to accommodate our requests. When checking in, you can tell the front desk you need a quiet room, otherwise the Shinkansen noise on one side is quite loud and can affect your sleep.

The TV's battery was low and I couldn't change the channel while in bed. Also, the TV remote didn't have a timer, so I was worried I'd fall asleep and leave it on until morning, which kept me awake. Most hotels check out time is 11 o'clock, but this one 10 o'clock, when I check in asked if 11 o'clock check out, the staff replied that extended check out need to add 2000 yen, so we even did not extend check out time, to the next day 10:05 just carrying luggage to leave the hotel room, the room phone rang.

Small room difficult to manoeuver around, but very acceptable for 1 or 2 nights. Located oitside of the tiwn, just a 7/11 convi opposite. Breakfast was ok...nothing special. Avoid the madd rush when they open at 6.30am

The hotel has good food, is clean, and is a good deal. However, when I booked through trip.com, they added an extra fee because it was booked with a student discount. You need to be careful when booking through trip.com.

I think this hotel is in a great location and offers excellent service. However, it's a 20-30 minute walk from Yamagata Station, so if walking is too much for you, I recommend taking a taxi. I booked a smoking room with twin beds. I was able to spend a comfortable time with my friend and was very satisfied.

There was hair on the shower head. There was a coffee stain on the surface of the kettle. I wonder if they didn't wipe it. It's a shame. There is a large public bath, but it's not very spacious and there were other families in it, so we gave up on using it.

The whole hotel gives an old impression. The air conditioning is centrally controlled and the temperature cannot be set. The bathtub is small and it's not possible to relax in it. I think there is a reason why it is cheap. There is a multi-story parking lot behind the hotel where you can park for 750 yen per night. I think the Washington Hotel in front of Yamagata Station is several times better.

The staff in this hotel were so helpful, i had lost some items and the staff went out of their way to assist me in retriving them back. Really appreciate their help for this. The room was big and clean as well, location was very convenient, less than a 5 min walk away from Akita station for the shinkansen.

This was our first trip since our youngest child was born. We were a little worried because we were so excited, but everything went smoothly. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was large. Free coffee pods and bath products were provided. It's within a 10-minute walk of the train station and even closer to Qianqiu Park.

Good hotel with good service. We had onsen for free

The hotel is located right next to the highway, making it very convenient if you are driving to other cities. It’s about a 15-minute drive from Aomori Station. Breakfast is included, but the selection is limited, and the 9:00 AM cutoff time is a bit early. The room facilities are somewhat dated, and the duvet was a little small.

There was plenty of free, flat parking, which was a relief. The location isn't ideal as it's on a busy road. However, the large public bath was great for unwinding. It was convenient to have a dinner option available on-site, and breakfast was quite good.

The hotel is located at a very convenient spot, just opposite to the JR station, you can walk to the hotel using the pedestrian tunnel linked to the JR station and mall, with elevators which are user-friendly for travellers with big luggages.

That is a very good location just opposite the Morioka station and a convenient store next to the hotel via the entrance of hotel. Recommended to anyone who plan a hotel nearby the train station.

The best things about this chain hotel are its location and price. Every branch seems to be right by a JR station and bus stop, which is super important in snowy Aomori. Plus, the price is really good. The free breakfast doesn't have a ton of options, but they do have hot rice and miso soup, which is a nice touch.

I had a pleasant stay here for a couple nights. It's located very close to the Railway station with dining and shopping options just down the street. The room was of a good size, very clean and the staff mad me feel welcome from the moment I arrived.

Excellent location, only 1 minute from the bus station. Staff was very helpful by checking in and out, but the English language was not the best. Amenities were missing, but after asking they provided some extras. Big minus, from two sets of washing and drying machines, only one set was working and that was a really big issue. So, for one night is ok.

Traveling with family, I booked a single room for my older child. The standard single room had a very large bed and was spotlessly clean. The breakfast the next morning was delicious. The hotel's location is excellent, and it offers great value for money.

The hotel's location is excellent, right across the street from Aomori Station. Unfortunately, there was a lot of snow on the roads, making it difficult to drag my luggage into the hotel. Just one more street over are the Apple Factory and Nebuta House. It's a shame I couldn't visit Hirosaki due to the snow causing train cancellations.

True to the Toyoko Inn chain, the location is excellent, and it is nice that they offer a free breakfast. (There are various options available in addition to what is shown in the photos.) You must use the underground passage to get to JR Station. Bars and other establishments were located near the JR Station. There is also a shuttle bus from Hanamaki Airport.

I absolutely loved this hotel! The rooms were huge! Although there are two rooms in Morioka, we initially went to the wrong one, but the staff were very kind and helpful in guiding us. The room even had a microwave and a large refrigerator, but unfortunately, we didn't get to use them.

Dormy Inn is amazing! They have ramen for a late-night snack, popsicles after the hot springs, and Yakult in the morning. Just being in the hotel is incredibly satisfying.

The hot spring bathhouse also has cold drinks and manga available, and there's free ramen in the evening. Plus, the hotel is close to tourist attractions.

The double bed was really cramped for two people, so we didn't get a good night's sleep. The hot spring overnight stay during cherry blossom season was a nice bonus. The afternoon tea and desserts from 2-6 PM were pretty good. The late-night noodles were very mediocre, but the egg and broth were excellent! The hotel's value for money was average, though it is conveniently close to Hirosaki Park.

I often stay at this hotel when I'm on business trips. I know that it can't be helped, but the parking lot was a bit difficult to get in and out of. However, the service was impeccable. I'm not sure about other Route Inns, but I was surprised to find that you can purchase tattoo concealment stickers for 250 yen each if they're strong enough to cover up a tattoo! Be prepared! It's close to the highway interchange, so it's convenient for those who use a car. There are convenience stores and drug stores within walking distance, so you won't have any problems. It's far from any places to drink alcohol, so if you can accept that, the location is good.

It's easily accessible from Koriyama Interchange, and I've used it many times. The breakfast is a buffet, and it's always delicious.
