The location is great, just a few minutes' walk from Sendai Station. They offer a free lounge with welcome drinks, and even complimentary ramen in the evenings. The coffee in the lounge is also quite good.

Very close to train station and is right around the corner for the bus from Yamagata. Front desk service was excellent. They were eager to help and was being very thoughtful.

Great location, just a five-minute walk to Sendai Station. It's like an upgraded version of a Richmond Hotel, with newer facilities than the usual ones. They offer complimentary tea, coffee, drinks, and ice cream all day, plus noodles in the evening and free welcome drinks. There are also many gyutan (beef tongue) restaurants nearby.

Convenient, nearly transportation location, good view

The location is very convenient to reach JR train station and food market. The breakfast has lots of choice and tasty. The public bath is not big but can access after day trip for relaxing. It offers free coffee at right side exit elevators.

The hotel is very conveniently located, just a short walk from the station, which made travelling around so easy. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. The bed was so hard… feels like sleeping on rocks. Other than the location, nothing much to say about the hotel. One of the most negative experience I had. It has public bath but too cold to use it.

Nice hotel with a great location. There’s 7-11 within the hotel compound, and if not enough there’s Family Mart and Lawson opposite. There’s also a famous Yonezawa beef restaurant beside the hotel.  Room is spacious and toilet well designed. Love Daiwa properties, highly recommend it.

This hotel exceeded my expectations completely. The yamagata airport shuttle (from airport) has a drop-off point right in front of the hotel. The hotel is a 5minutes walk from yamagata station. There is a seven-konbini on 1F of the hotel building, and a toyota car rental directly across the street (1min walk). We went snowboarding at Zao but all accommodations were fully booked. So we decided to stay at yamagata. It’s great that we stayed at Yamagata as there are more restaurants and places to hang around. I stayed one night at this hotel, which is conveniently located near the train station and feels fresh and new. The on-site restaurant serves dinner, and we tried the sukiyaki — it was absolutely delicious and definitely worth a try, even if the price is on the higher side. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience and would happily choose this hotel again when visiting Zao.

Great stay for two nights. Excellent location with the bus to Mount Zao right downstairs and a 7-Eleven in the building. The hotel is well maintained, and cleaning is available upon request.

This was my fourth time staying at a Toyoko Inn. I really appreciate having a full breakfast at the start of a busy day. This particular location was fantastic right next close to the exit of the station. Comfortable night sleep great shower clean room can’t ask for more as a weary traveler.

Nice place. Looks old(maybe was constructed longer time ago), furniture is not new, but clean and tidy. Reception is 24/7. The rooms are automatically locked, so don't leave your keys inside(it's not a card). Air conditioning is in the rooms. Bath stuff like towels changed every day. This business hotel is about a ten minute walk from JR Sendai station, so it's convenient. However, the room is very small - smaller than other comparably priced business hotels and is a super tight squeeze for two people (even two slim women). Toothpaste, toothbrush, towels, hairbrush, and slippers are available, but not sure if I would return unless I couldn't find another hotel close to the train...

The location is a bit far, about a 15-minute walk from Aomori Station, which was tough in the snow. Everything else was perfect though; the room was very comfortable, no complaints there.

Stayed in Aomori for four nights. The hotel room was well-equipped, and there was a convenience store downstairs. I highly recommend the breakfast; it mainly featured local specialties, with plenty of vegetables and less meat, making it very healthy and delicious. This time, I got to see the perfect snow scenery.

A stylish, modern hotel with reception on the 5th floor. Nice seating or working area near reception, also amenities and a microwave. Room nice and adequate size for a short stay. It was a typical hotel found in an old provincial city.

It's located in the shopping district in front of Koriyama Station, so it's easy to find a meal. It's also nice that there's a convenience store next to the lobby. The room is a little old, but it's clean and comfortable. I think it's a good place to stay for sightseeing or business.

The price tripled during cherry blossom season, and they wouldn't let me check in at 2:40 PM, strictly enforcing the 3:00 PM check-in time. For 1500 RMB a night, you get a Japanese-style futon on the floor, and they don't even provide drinking water (you have to buy it from a vending machine). To be fair, the breakfast was good.

This Toyoko Inn is a bit far from JR Morioka Station, requiring a walk through an underpass, so it's not the most convenient. Unlike other Toyoko Inns, there are no welcome drinks or ramen offered in the evenings. Breakfast is also very standard, and the rooms are quite small. Overall, it's an average experience.

Nice location, very clean room and it was a bit larger than the other business hotels I've been too. Bathroom had a shower-only set-up which was quite good too. Only grouse was the motion-sensitve light at the room doorway which kept switching on each time I turned around near the door when I was unpacking
