The location is great, convenient, and centrally located. Open 24/7, and the price is dirt cheap! 2,500 tenge per night. Those are the biggest pluses of this hostel. Cons: the bed was hard, the mattress was thin, and my whole body ached in the morning. The nightstand didn't lock; it was crooked and askew. The shower was alternately cold and lukewarm, mostly cold. You couldn't really regulate the water...

We had a night and we have been pleased. Room was clean and receptionist very kind.

Nice clean hostel with kitchen to everyone, we had very clean room with air-conditioning and you tube television, internet connection is fast, it's my recommendation :)

For a reasonable price, you can stay here. Beds are medium hard and good, mattresses are not lumpy or deformed. It's clean! Staff is patient and understanding.

We spent one night at Orbita in Shymkent during our trip through Kazakhstan. We had driven from Almaty to the area of Aksu-Zhabagly, and then to Turkistan, from where we made our way back to Almaty in stages, stopping one night in Shymkent before going to Taraz. I accidentally left a folder with my travel money - hundreds of dollars - after I had to switch rooms because of the way I had made my booking. We were hosted by our relatives in this hotel in Shymkent, Kazakhstan, where we went for my nephew's wedding. It was beautiful in every way. I would definitely recommend it.

Extremely satisfied! The hotel is a converted villa. Although it's not in the city center, the city isn't large, so it's not much different, and it was very quiet at night. The front desk staff were very friendly and could communicate in basic English. They proactively used a translator to communicate with us. The room was excellent, very new, with a slight new-renovation smell, but I found it acceptable...

A comfortable stay. The receptionist checked us in immediately upon arrival, as our flight was delayed. The breakfast was good, the room was cozy and clean, with robes and towels provided. A friend and I stayed here. The room was excellent and clean, and the service was top-notch. The breakfast was also fantastic for this type of hotel; I found everything I needed for my diet. Everything was clean and tidy, and very quiet. It was a bit far from the center, though.
