I had a wonderful stay at Rixos Khadisha Shymkent. The hotel combines luxury, comfort, and excellent service. The staff was always friendly especially reception girls Adema and Dilnoz, attentive, and ready to help with any request. Very good location. Quite reasonable price for a4 star hotel, at least during winter. Near to shymkent plaza. Eating at the Kazakh restaurant next to the hotel is a must,!! Delicious and affordable. I recommend you to stay here!

Whenever my company goes on a business trip to Shymkent, we always stay at this hotel. It's clean, hygienic, and the service is excellent. Communication with the hotel is also very smooth. It's our only choice, and I highly recommend it.

The room was spacious. Staff were okay and accommodating most of the time. We had problems with the room temperature being too hot and the only solution given was "open the window." However, it did become better the next day. Breakfast could be better.

Hotel location abit far from city centre, but it convenient to travel by bus or taxi, room are great, only that aircond was not on during autumn, if aircon is a must then this is not for you

They helped me find a power cord for my laptop and allowed me to check out a day early when I needed to. Some will have issues with the thin walls. I had a youngster in the next room screaming. Great room size, the mattress was very supportive, good choice between soft and firm pillows, clean crisp bedding, good size shower with good pressure, clean floors and hallway, good selection at the breakfast buffet. Outside street noise can come into the room.

Good hotel with good service, but be aware if you are foreigner and you come to check in late at night the is good chance if you don’t speak Russian or Kazakh there will be some language difficulties

I'm very apreciated about the Tourist Hotel service for cleaning my room and breakfast at bed ;0) My room had brand new interier. So quiet place with nice view and lot of space for rest and living.

Cool new hotel 🏨, rooms are clean, bright, with a balcony. There are two armchairs and a coffee table. The beds are wide, not quite soft, not quite hard, just what we liked.

Impeccable service, spotlessly clean and the hotel also has free parking, making it easy to get around/to and from the hotel. If you don't have your own car, it only costs 800-1200 tenge for a taxi to the city centre. Ps: The breakfast is very good

But there are a few BUT: slow Wi-Fi and turnover rates( very often changing administrators). And I think you need to invest in a hotel (to freshen the furniture, appliances, dishes).

Stayed for three days at the Diamond Hotel Shymkent. I have never seen such amazing service from the staff anywhere. When a guest enters the hotel, the reception staff stands up and greets them. What I liked most was the charming employee at the reception with the cute name Aisaule: she readily recommended places to visit in Shymkent and the surrounding area, gave advice on the city’s establishments...

Although there is a language barrier, they use translation software to communicate at the front desk. The service is very thoughtful, the breakfast is rich, and the price is not expensive!
