We didn't expect that, Shymkent city and people was good. Our Hotel Receptionist Miss Louisa was very Helpful and professional. I recommend all to book this hotel and enjoy the stay and service from Professional staff. I really appreciate to Miss Louisa.

Good hotel with good service, but be aware if you are foreigner and you come to check in late at night the is good chance if you don’t speak Russian or Kazakh there will be some language difficulties

I'm very apreciated about the Tourist Hotel service for cleaning my room and breakfast at bed ;0) My room had brand new interier. So quiet place with nice view and lot of space for rest and living.

It's a clean dormitory-style hotel. The location is a little inconvenient, but it's not a big deal.

Location isn't great. Friendly staff and the place looks beautiful. But the shower has no hot water ever and bed are so hard that you wake up with backpain.

A clean and cozy hotel. It's a shame there wasn't drinking water in the room. And it'll probably be cold in the hallway in the winter.

OK, but nothing special The room is small, either 8 or 10 sq.m. There is liquid soap and a shower gel dispenser in the bathroom. The bed is a bit hard, the mattress is thin. There is a refrigerator, you have to turn it on. TV with VK video.

The hotel is a solid C-star. It's also well located, right in the city center. The food is a B+. Overall, I liked it.

I had a very early checkout the next day, and the receptionist had breakfast ready for me :) I didn't find the bed that comfortable, and the air conditioning is very limited, but the room met my expectations. This place felt like you were on the Squid Games set! Very cool hostel and very good value. Unfortunately it was pretty quiet when I was there but it has some good desk space for co-working and a lounge area to watch movies. I have a dorm all to myself for 10$ so that was great too

I stayed at dorm 303 where the AC's highest temp is 25 and the body odor of my roommates is just all over. The toilet room floor tends to get messy after one takes shower because they do not have mats. For some reason, devices won't connect to the wifi immediately. Was working on the common area. Coin laundry is also available.

Second night here now, but I might stay longer. It's a very well-kept hostel with helpful staff. Decor is colorful. Location is great. Price is 5,000 tenge for a dorm bed, and you may end up with a private room if no one comes. Very happy to stay here. They provide lockers, towels, and slippers.

Rahmet Zhanerki (aka JJ) at reception: welcoming & cheery & informative. Curious - yet very convenient - location inside the central mall, then up the stairs to this very colourful hostel, quiet & spacious with comfy dorm, decent clean toilet facilities & ok kitchenette. Very nice and huge rooms. Bathroom is superb and spacious. Clean and well kept. Price was also very reasonable. It is just 1.5km from city and parks. Only point lift is between floors. No AC working. Wifi was slow on upper floors.

I really enjoyed this hôtel. Room was nice and clean. Continental breakfast very good too. It's very convenient, the offer an early check-in as we arrived very early at Shymkent Airport but you'll have to leave at the same hour the next day

I have spent two night here. My experience was good. Things were as expected. Beds were comfortable. Room was big and clean. Bathroom was clean and toiletries were provided. Hot water was available all the time. Breakfast was good enough. I checked in at midnight and it was smooth. Very near to bus stand and big market. Overall yes from my side.

It is just across from the Grand Bazaar, and there is a bus transfer station downstairs, which makes it convenient to go anywhere. The hotel is old-fashioned and just average.

Rooms are nice. Place is near to city centre. No restaurant at hotel. Please bear in bind that it’s a Halal hotel. Service is okay. Bit pricey considering the location and amenities.

The TVs are just for show. There's no external antenna, and the smart TV doesn't work.

Excellent recreation area. Clean comfortable pool, green area, helpful managers and waiters. Delicious cuisine. And most importantly - within the city, no need to go far.

The pool is great, but I don't know about the rooms. But for a pool, it's very clean. The water is a little cold, but there are three sections of the pool: a deep section for ages 12 and up, a medium depth section for ages 6-7 to 10, and a shallow section for toddlers. Be careful, though, the bottom is slippery.

If you're going to go, be sure to come right around opening time; it gets crowded around 4-5 PM. The water is very warm, which I don't like; it's unpleasant to swim in. We ordered beer based on the waiter's recommendation, and it was terrible. The food is generally delicious, but the prices are slightly above average.

The price is reasonable. 14,000 for a junior suite. Everything is clean. The staff is polite. 3011 smells like sewage. We were vacationing with children. Bathrooms are not cleaned with bleach or thoroughly. And so it shows its 4 stars.

We were hosted by our relatives in this hotel in Shymkent, Kazakhstan, where we went for my nephew's wedding. It was beautiful in every way. I would definitely recommend it.

Extremely satisfied! The hotel is a converted villa. Although it's not in the city center, the city isn't large, so it's not much different, and it was very quiet at night. The front desk staff were very friendly and could communicate in basic English. They proactively used a translator to communicate with us.
