Campings in Almaty Region

My name is Jomhey and im a solo traveler. Ive stayed for 4 days and i can say the place is totally great and safe, the staff is nice and the rooms are very clean specially the toilet and washroom and the prices is reasonably cheap. I highly recommend it to you guys and try what i experience. Have a good travel 😊

A gorgeous hostel, more like a guesthouse, it feels like home! 🥹🤗😍 Clean, cozy, comfortable, and has a warm vibe! My husband and I were lucky enough to catch the first events held here, like Nauryz and Halloween. 5/5 or 10/10

A very comfortable place, cozy and atmospheric 🌸

Very cool hostel. I recommend coming here😍

Wonderful hostel with a warm atmosphere. Friendly staff. Everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Convenient place to stay if you want an early start to the canyon

Very Convenient to visit the canyon , the cafe is good but the breakfast is limited only one dish and tea.

The location was really good. I enjoyed seeing Charn Canyon and had a good rest.

A super chill tent camping experience. Inside the tent, you'll find a bed, bedding, a table, chairs, a kettle, a heater, and a single light bulb. (There's no bathroom or toilet; you have to walk or drive to the service center. At night, it's pitch black, with no streetlights, which is especially inconvenient for women!) Overall, camping in a tent with such a stunning view is "absolutely fantastic.

The glamping tents are perfect for visiting the Charyn Canyon (Valley of Castles). They're right by the visitor centre at the entrance gate, 10km down the road from the turn off the highway. Guides there also offered us an exclusive canyon hike. Tent itself was great for two of us - two beds, heater, light, and the view is amazing. It was occasionally a little noisy when the wind got really high. The...

The location is excellent. The room is also very nice.

The impressions from rafting are simply indescribable! We rafted down a mountain river, and it was a real adventure. The water was cold, but the excitement and teamwork did their job. Many thanks to the instructor Ilya for all his advice, everything was very organized, calm, with excellent instructions, without any fuss. Just great guys, it was safe, and we got a lot of adrenaline. Be sure to try it...

Very nice place to stay, friendly host and beautiful surroundings with sauna and a lot of other facilities. Only really hard to find, stay left from river in malybay and go to little village close to the raft servis. From there take a dirt road vissable on google maps, earth.

It is a fact that this business, which is owned by a professional athlete and international coach who is devoted to Rafting sport, trying to give the best with the resources they have in the limited natural conditions in the mountainous area, is trying to give the best with limited resources, even though it is not properly supported by official bodies with state services such as roads, water and electricity...

The impressions are the best, thanks to the organizers, the descent along the mountain river is super, the food is very tasty, the rooms are quite comfortable!!!

An excellent comfortable place to relax, with family or friends or colleagues. Brought, taken away, fed with adrenaline, got lucky with the weather. Thank you very much for the rest and mood. We were without overnight stay, I didn’t see the number. You can bring your own food, drink, tents. There is a bathhouse, there are barbecues, there are tables and benches. I advise

A great place for active recreation near Almaty. The organizers have improved the infrastructure. Rafting on the Chilik River is organized here. Very experienced instructors. Get a dose of adrenaline and lift your spirits.

The location, room type, service, and breakfast were all good.

I often live here. It's convenient and the price/performance ratio is OK!

The room is very good, well-equipped, the breakfast buffet is very rich, the barbecue and fruit are delicious, the hygiene is also clean and tidy, there is a dedicated person to clean every day, it is very safe to live here

1. Clean 2. Comfortable 3. Great location I truly enjoyed my stay and would love to come back again.

Excellent hotel, good location in the city center, good breakfasts.

The room is clean, just like the picture, good location, convenient for travel

The bedside light in our room exploded and set on fire to our bed, we received no real apology. The website and marketing promises wifi in every room, this was not available. The call button to our eating area didn’t work (although was fixed eventually). I was told that the pool was included in the price, even had this confirmed the day or arrival via WhatsApp but still had to pay. The staff were...

Nestled in a breathtaking mountain setting with a picturesque river nearby, this incredible destination offers a truly unforgettable experience. Savor delicious cuisine, enjoy top-notch service, and take in the stunning natural beauty that surrounds you. The combination of mouthwatering food, exceptional hospitality, and awe-inspiring scenery makes this a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a...

Nice place to spend time with family....very peaceful and safe. The only bad experience was the checking of our luggage at the entrance gate and that too with full authority.

A lovely and quiet place near a flowing stream The rooms are great

Very nice weekend escape. Nice kitchen, clean air and wonderful service

Good place to relax and not expensive

Wonderful place 👍 we really liked it! Nice and cozy houses, barbecue, everything for a good rest. Thank you for the place!

Very good place for family vacation! Cozy, clean houses. Everything you need can be purchased on site. Very friendly hosts! We like it 🥰

Very good atmosphere for retreat with family or friends. Nice stuff, everything was maxed with good taste and good quality

Booked the whole area for four nights, three great and unique apartments, for a family of ten. A very quiet area of the city, near the mountains, great atmosphere. The place is clean and beautiful, has a great bathhouse(banya) and even a Chan (a big hot tub), a few pools and a small river which you can hear whooshing when you fall asleep. Damir and Bakhtior were amazing and helped us with everything...

Perfect service, clean house, wonderful place for spending time and just chill. If you're looking for calm with your family or friends I really advice you these guest houses. Bachtiar is really nice and helpful administer

08/28/22 spent my birthday here. Everything was fire! 🔥 The place for events is amazing, and even better if you come with your family or your soulmate! There is everything for this on the territory. The administration of the recreation area is adequate, loyal, they will try to help you and answer all your questions! And I had a lot of them Special thanks to Bakhtiyor - the administrator of "Our Dacha...

Nice location with a great atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. The place was clean and well-maintained, which I really appreciated. Rooms were too small then the expect but we managed.

We stopped here just passing through after visiting the petroglyphs. The prices were almost the same as a hotel in Almaty. The room was an old shack with a fan (a good fan!). The beach and reservoir—we couldn't understand why everyone from Almaty comes here to relax, except maybe for the kids to have a fun and safe swim. The hotel is very crowded even on weekdays. The security guards won't let you...

This is probably the problem with all resorts that refuse to be updated. The cabins are definitely rundown. We stayed in a villa, one of the most expensive on the island compared to the suites, junior suites, and standard rooms. The walls are covered with shabby plastic, flies are flying around, mosquitoes are rare, a mouse ran by, it was awful!!! We asked at reception; they don't kill them on purpose...

Nice recreation area, well-groomed area, clean beach, perfect sand on the beach. This year there are many small frogs on the territory, apparently from the neighboring swamp. The rooms are already tired in places, it would not hurt to freshen up the repair. Everything else is great. For a large company, the villa is an ideal option. The rooms have TVs and air conditioners (in the suite and the villa...

Hello everybody! Rested from 13-14 May 2021. We liked everything very much, rested with family and relatives. If you want to have a good time away from the hustle and bustle of the city, I highly recommend it. There is good parking, a children's entertainment area, a swimming pool and, most importantly, a cozy atmosphere of a beautiful landscape. There is a separate area for cooking: barbecue, pilaf...

The location is beautiful in winter ❄️

The staff at the information centre were super friendly. Our accommodation was cozy with a stream flowing right in front. There are small hikes to Waterfalls and other viewpoints. There are bikes, walking sticks, etc. available on rent. There are 2 restaurants, one near the info centre which has a decent menu and another called "Shopan" which has limited Kazakh menu. Overall, our stay was very relaxing

Nice location in the mountains, not many hiking possibilities at the site, decent restaurant with terrible service, various fast food shacks. Reception speak some English, some shops selling tourist tack. The place is very crowded - i guess 300+ people during the day. the one toilet black is locked up at night so you have to use the bushes.... People drink heavy and party until dawn, it has very little...

I just finished my 3 days trip with my wife and we had an amazing time. We booked the stay via booking and they didn’t replied our message on the website where we ask to do an early check in as we were landing at 4.00 am. As they didn’t replied we try calling or sending WhatsApp and they didn’t reply as well, so we just went around 8 am and they didn’t seem to notice we even had booked the room, however...

The staff was very nice and available. They offered us their shower as we stayed three days and even though the description said there was a shower no shower was given to us.
