Booked the whole area for four nights, three great and unique apartments, for a family of ten. A very quiet area of the city, near the mountains, great atmosphere. The place is clean and beautiful, has a great bathhouse(banya) and even a Chan (a big hot tub), a few pools and a small river which you can hear whooshing when you fall asleep. Nice location with a great atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. The place was clean and well-maintained, which I really appreciated. Rooms were too small then the expect but we managed.

We stopped here just passing through after visiting the petroglyphs. The prices were almost the same as a hotel in Almaty. The room was an old shack with a fan (a good fan!). This is probably the problem with all resorts that refuse to be updated. The cabins are definitely rundown. We stayed in a villa, one of the most expensive on the island compared to the suites, junior suites, and standard rooms. The walls are covered with shabby plastic, flies are flying around, mosquitoes are rare, a mouse ran by, it was awful!!! We asked at reception; they don't kill them on purpose...

Nice place to spend time with family....very peaceful and safe. The only bad experience was the checking of our luggage at the entrance gate and that too with full authority.

It was my first time in this fairy-tale world. Just super 👍🏻 Now we will go at least once a year. So many pleasant emotions, so much joy during these two days. The most favorite place in the city, the rooms are very cozy and beautiful style, the food is delicious, the baths and pools are excellent, the minus is that this year in the winter they closed 2 pools, I don’t know if they will last the whole winter, but it’s cold to run from the pool to the Russian bathhouse, because the neighboring pools are closed. Overall a great place ❤️

Bad, unmotivated and poorly organized service everywhere. Have received an eye roll more than once when asked completely normal questions, such as placing an order, paying an invoice, etc. However, the facility is very beautiful and is constantly well maintained. we did not stay at the hotel. We were just here for the banyas, steam rooms and pools. The place is amazing. It was snowy, but overcast. Sadly, mountains weren't visible the day we were here, but, nonetheless, it was a wonderful experience. So many different kinds of saunas and indoor and outdoor pools and jacuzzis of various temperatures. The place was amazing.

Not bad. For those who love baths, swimming pool. They are of different types here. You need to take a bathrobe, towel, slippers, a hat for the bath. And the cost of rent is very high. Bathrobe 3000, towel 1500, well, everything else. There is food, the prices are also high, as in all such establishments. We took water, drinks and snacks with us, we did not forbid it.

The location is beautiful in winter ❄️

The staff at the information centre were super friendly. Our accommodation was cozy with a stream flowing right in front. There are small hikes to Waterfalls and other viewpoints. There are bikes, walking sticks, etc. available on rent. There are 2 restaurants, one near the info centre which has a decent menu and another called "Shopan" which has limited Kazakh menu. Overall, our stay was very relaxing

Nice location in the mountains, not many hiking possibilities at the site, decent restaurant with terrible service, various fast food shacks. Reception speak some English, some shops selling tourist tack. The place is very crowded - i guess 300+ people during the day. the one toilet black is locked up at night so you have to use the bushes.... People drink heavy and party until dawn, it has very little...

I just finished my 3 days trip with my wife and we had an amazing time. We booked the stay via booking and they didn’t replied our message on the website where we ask to do an early check in as we were landing at 4.00 am. As they didn’t replied we try calling or sending WhatsApp and they didn’t reply as well, so we just went around 8 am and they didn’t seem to notice we even had booked the room, however...

The staff was very nice and available. They offered us their shower as we stayed three days and even though the description said there was a shower no shower was given to us.

Thanks to Mia for her help. Check-in was at 4 a.m., everything was ready, the keys were in the agreed-upon location, and they checked in the morning to confirm my arrival. The price/quality ratio is excellent. This is my second time using YourHouse's hospitality and I'm completely satisfied.

They greeted us warmly and accommodated us, although it was a bit cramped for a family with a child.

Convenient place to stay if you want an early start to the canyon

Very Convenient to visit the canyon , the cafe is good but the breakfast is limited only one dish and tea.

The location was really good. I enjoyed seeing Charn Canyon and had a good rest.

A super chill tent camping experience. Inside the tent, you'll find a bed, bedding, a table, chairs, a kettle, a heater, and a single light bulb. (There's no bathroom or toilet; you have to walk or drive to the service center. At night, it's pitch black, with no streetlights, which is especially inconvenient for women!) Overall, camping in a tent with such a stunning view is "absolutely fantastic.

The glamping tents are perfect for visiting the Charyn Canyon (Valley of Castles). They're right by the visitor centre at the entrance gate, 10km down the road from the turn off the highway.
