I recently stayed at the Rahat Palace Hotel in Almaty and had a really comfy experience. The rooms were cozy and well kept, perfect for relaxing after a long day. As soon as you enter the hotel, you feel like you are in a Turkish palace. The room is furnished in old-school European style and is very comfortable. The breakfast is good, and you can take a walk in the park next to it after eating.

First room was smell bad of smoke even though my booking was non smoking room . They gave me other room was good after i complained. I think hotels used to give worst room who booked through trip.com . It happened in my previous trip in Bali.

I had a very nice stay there and have a nice experience too. My laundry was hung at the balcony and who knows the strong wind blew them all off. The security man there really help me to look for all my clothes. He really went looking under the cars, at the grass patches, everywhere. Once at night and once in the morning, I managed to get back some of my clothes. Temur, if I got his name correct.

It's an older hotel, but it's unexpected that it has sports facilities and a swimming pool. The service staff is also quite enthusiastic, the room is relatively large, and the things are relatively clean and sanitary. The breakfast needs to be improved.

Oh what to say about this hotel ! Some of the staff very much helpful but most of them are pretty much not interested to understand or listen at all. Old building for sure. Room lights are warm but dull warm. Room key card doesn’t work most of the times. Don’t be surprise if the hot water turns the chilled water out of the blue and for long hours or the day.

Very bad experience. I left my dior bag in the hotel and says don’t have it. I’m very very sure it was it the room. Reception when check in was rude. Decent Hotel. Nothing Special. Location is usually 15 minutes from city places

The hotel is nice, very quiet and tidy. Room was small, but quite comfortable. Location is ok, not the city center, but not far from all the attractions. Also close to a mall. The breakfast was frustrating - lack of seating space and the food was not very tasty. The staff is really welcoming and warm, always ready to help - best part of the hotel.

A decent hotel with spacious rooms. Breakfast is served with a nice view of the mountains. The only downside is that it can get very noisy in the hallways, as many families with children stay here. This hotel should be 150 per night in China, but in Almaty, it is close to 900 including tax. I don't understand it. There is no need to discuss bedding and pillows. I would rather add 1000 to stay in Swiss Health Resort.

Hotel located very near to the atakent exhibition hall. There are several restaurant and cafe opposite of the hotel. The 2 lady frontdesk working in the 25 April, 8pm is very friendly and helpful with my request. All the hotel staff can speak English which is a plus. Overall this is a great hotel to stay if you’re attending event in the exhibition hall.
