Guest house "Kemin Guest House" in Bishkek

A guest house on steroids.
It's big and can be busy.
Good size rooms ours had a great view, especially when it's not raining which it did a lot during our stay so have the correct clothes.
Comfortable beds and pillows.
Well appointed shower room but as with many rural properties with sewage processing systems don't flush the paper or anything substantial.
Dinner and breakfast are like a hostel or school. Set meal and portions brought to your table. For me dinner was ok, not what I would choose and due to portions would have to fill up with bread. For others it was fine. Also it's only warm not hot.
Breakfast served the same way but a bigger offering so enough choice to probably satisfy most people.
Because it's modern and the rooms are very good, it's tempting to judge it like a hotel rather than a guest house. Judge it as the latter and expectations will be met.
The wood theme everywhere looks good but makes the corridors noisy.
Don't expect decent WiFi. I suspect the incoming signal isn't great and the access points are limited. Add about 100 guests and it splutters. Don't expect video streaming and photo backup.

Fantastically located guesthouse in the wilds of Kyrgyzstan; surrounded by horses and mountains certainly a place to savor.

I had a wonderful stay at Kemin guest house the room was spacious with a comfortable bed and great view , breakfast had a great variety of options and the staff went above and beyond to help i would definitely stay here again

A beautiful and well-kept place with stunning mountain views. Wonderful people, amazing food, and the most comfortable pillows. You truly get “heart on a plate” here. The horseback riding experience was absolutely fantastic.

Kemin guest house beautifully located between mountains, streaming water, awesome sunset view, sunrise view, We went as a group , Enjoyed horse riding around the plains Had a wonderful campfire after an awesome dinner, with local cuisine. Rooms were super cozy , Best option for a group tour

Kemin guesthouse is set in the absolutely gorgeous kemin valley. My wife and I only stayed here for one night as we had a trip around the eastern Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgyzstan; on reflection I would have loved to have stayed here another night or two to be able to explore the valley. The rooms are lovely and well appointed. Breakfast and dinner were both very tasty. Portion sizes for dinner could have been a little larger but there was just about enough to fill us up, particularly with the homemade bread. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Brand new accommodation situated on farm at end of a beautiful alpine valley. Large rooms with good en suite. Beautiful views from large windows. No furniture in room apart from bedside table and beds- a chair or luggage rack would have been helpful but as we only stayed one night it wasn’t a problem. Excellent food in dining room. Tasty generous evening meal and excellent breakfast. The best porridge we had in 3 weeks in Central Asia! Spotlessly clean and lovely sitting areas outside. Highly recommend

We stayed there during our tour of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Kygistan. Beautiful and quiet area. Beautiful traditional rooms, very clean. The owners were welcoming and friendly and always up for a chat. In the evening at the campfire pleasant conversations with other travelers. The food is also excellent.
