The hotel has a very good location, has an outdoor swimming pool, the staff are enthusiastic and professional, and the rooms are neat and clean. It is worth recommending, 5 stars!

Room was large and clean with comfortable beds. The receptionist, Nuna, was incredibly friendly and went out of her way to help us with food recommendations and transport

Her English was excellent which made our lives easier. We enjoyed our one night stay

A nice place if you want to experience the Soviet past. The hotel is very well placed in the city and there’s a cashpoint opposite it that gives USD.

However, the room was FREEZING cold, and they only provided a thin sheet-sized blanket in the winter! By this point it was late at night and I knew nobody would be able to help at reception this early and moving rooms would have been just as negative, so I didn't get any sleep, which consequently meant that after breakfast I went back to bed and slept from 07:30-11:30 which ruined my last day in Osh

Beautiful views and territory. Nice pool. Awesome bar on the roof. Needs to be refreshed. A bit far from the downtown. Fresh air is the compensation.

Minus points: Hotel is about 3km from the centre, rooms are tired, there is an extra charge of 700 Soms (9 Euros) per person per day to use the swimming pool, aircon was noisy but ineffective

But the rooms themselves are very small, sufficient for a weekend stay but too claustrophobic for any stay longer than a week

Apparently it's out of business right now, but has very nice dining halls, conference hall, gym, swimming pool

Plus points: Staff are helpful, bed was comfortable, breakfast was good

You’re asked to take off your shoes at the entrance, which makes sense since many guests come from the hiking. The whole place was very clean and cozy. Would definitely recommend for a comfortable stay in Karakol!

Lovely family-run hotel with a super helpful reception. The laundry service was fast (which was great after days of trekking!), and the breakfast was amazing—one of the best we had

A little improvement needed like providing some kettle in rooms with water, but I know if I ask they will bring it for sure. My room is so warm coz they provide super big heater. Coz I came during winter time

Stayed here for 2 nights, then we went to Jyrgalan valley for 1 night, and came back here again for another night. The location is also great, not too far from the good restaurants and Issyk Kul ski resort

The staff are extremely accommodating, the rooms are clean, nice bathroom with consistent hot water for shower. It was very peaceful and they also provide nice breakfast

The location is just 30 mins drive to Karakol Ski resort, which is very convenient if you'd like to stay a bit far from the crowd and save some money

In the case of the room I booked, there were no hair dryers and toiletries, so I cannot say "perfect" to the room service, but everything was clean and the breakfast was also satisfactory

처음 탈 때 운전자들이 돈을 요구해 2만 텡겐(5만7천원)으로 합의했으나 중간에 차를 멈추더니 돈을 더 달라고 했고 저희는 약속과 다르니 줄 수 없다고 대답했습니다. 하지만 같은 말을 끊임없이 반복해서 결국 저녁 식사를 대접하기로 했으나 식당에서 제 카드가 결제되지 않자 호텔까지 쫓아와 돈을 요구했습니다

서로 언어도 통하지 않아 어려움을 겪고 있었는데 이때 직원 분이 나서서 문제를 원만하게 해결해주었고 안전하게 하루를 보낼 수 있었습니다. 직원 분은 영어를 매우 유창하게 구사했고 다음날 아침 식당에서 친절하게 서비스를 도와주거나 택시를 대신 잡아주는 등 밝고 친절한 태도를 보여주었습니다

The Green Yard Hotel is more of a guest house, the staff are very friendly and their rooms clean and comfortable. They have a ski room (we weren’t skiing)

This was a beautiful, comfortable room. The huge photos on the walls of the nearby area were stunning. Best of all, after being on tour for over a week on some bumpy roads, were the massages they organised

The breakfast was absolutely delicious and after going out for a meal in the evening we were able to party on in one of their communal rooms with our own alcohol

Moist cakes and that even includes a chocolate cake for breakfast, cheesecakes, apple crumble and strudel; pancakes served with a variety of jams ranging from raspberry, strawberry, cherry, plum and apricot; Syrniki (pancakes filled with cottage cheese); cheeses, breads, local honey, meats, eggs, porridge, fresh fruits like raspberries, plums, grapes, apples and apricots; coffee, tea and cereal served...

I loved our stay at this charming guesthouse in a good location in Bishkek. The lady host was lovely, our breakfast was good and served on time, the gardens and lilies placed around were fragrant and beautiful

Clean room, friendly staff and excellent service. Morning breakfast was also excellent. It is mind boggling how they can provide so much for the price I paid. Only downside is that the toilet is shared

Really nice hotel with spacious rooms, comfy beds and sweet staff :) We enjoyed our stay a lot and will come back one day!

The room was nice with the huge bath. Air con a bit weak and they wouldn't let me check in early despite the place being empty. The addition to use pool facilities was very expensive and not worth it

The people who "worked there?" were fine and English was spoken by one. There was underfloor heating in the bathroom and a fridge, as well as good air conditioning. Some soaps and shampoo, combs etc

The kettle had a different outlet to the wall and the white "gowns" were stained with brown patches. I don't recommend staying here when equally priced, yet better alternatives are available

Likewise the room had noticeable spots of dirtiness, especially the carpet, and people had evidently been smoking in there. In fact, for my 8 nights, the smell of smoke was continuous

A light breakfast (with egg choice!) was also provided. Hotel was also right opposite one of the best cafes in Karakol, Lighthouse Karakol, and within walking distance to almost anywhere you’d want to go

A great hotel for exploring Karakol. Very clean rooms. Bathroom and shower were fantastic. Had in house laundry service which was excellent. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was wonderful.

Rooms were fitted with AC, and there was a water dispenser in the hotel as well. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms, and really nice and friendly staff who were always so welcoming and smiley

I stayed before and after my trek and both times my room was perfect. I stayed on the second floor, overlooking a flower nursery and with the mountains in the distance

A nice boarding house in a beautiful, quiet location. The large grounds are shared by all the boarding houses. Birch trees, squirrels, and beauty. The room is nice and clean, with a kettle and refrigerator

We really enjoyed this place of stay. It's quiet and cozy, away from the bustling city center. The beach is a 7-8-minute walk away. The beach is clean, sandy, and free of rocks, both on the beach and on the seabed

In our haste, we forgot to take a couple of dried trout from the refrigerator, which we had bought specifically as gifts for friends

Also please do visit the Sauna, which creates this great Russian/ Kyrgyz culture around you. Rest like you had the weight of the whole world on your shoulders. This is the Hotel to go in Karakol

We stopped here as a last minute change of plans on our way around Issyk-Kul. Room was lovely, toilets and bathrooms were good. Staff didn't speak English but we muddled through. Nice coffee shop around the corner too

You can truly relax and enjoy every part of your stay and if you decide that you wanna feel more at home, visit the second floor lounge where Aziz the best barista in Karakol will make you a cup of fresh ground coffee or anything you'd like to drink from "starbucks"

Super welcoming comfortable rooms with plenty of hot water. The staff were brilliant after another hotel let us down on our booking and reception at Nomad were so helpful settling us in for the night

In October for four days 3750 som double room. Everything is great. Only the sink is clogged and the toilet is leaking) but they will fix it, the staff is very polite. The room is clean.

Winter sport lovers may find everything here and have much fun. Cool race lines, good steep places. They have also ski rental place and stuff if you need ski, snowboard fix

I think for the price paid, though the facilities are of course historic and in need of maintenance in some places - such bookings are a novelty given the buildings Soviet history alongside the balcony views of Victory Square

Location is great, walking distance from the sites in the center. Very competitive price compared to the market. The room is old but has all one needs, and for the price tag, I have nothing to complain

Great stay in Bishkek! Clean and cheap! The room has aircon, own bathroom with hot shower, WiFi and a balcony with a nice view towards the mountains and victory square

We really loved our stay here but the rooms did not have Wifi. So if we didn't buy sim card, we would end up cut from the entire world. It's a typical post Soviet place

There's a hotel inside the place and there is a cafe called Cafe de Gusto. Card is accepted there and they have good Shisha, shashlik and wine

The only negatives worth mentioning are that the towels smelt quite bad, and no bathroom tissue was present. Aside from these points, the staff were friendly enough and the atmosphere was relaxed

We used this hotel to go skiing near karakol. They arranged a transportation to the ski area. The rooms are small but spotless. The owner tries to speak English

I am on 15 days tour to kyrgyzstan and last night stayed in this hotel and the location is so beautiful , don't feel like leaving this place. Excellent breakfast and the garden and beach is so amazing

Excellent location with fresh and shallow beach. Adorable place for vacation with kids. Hotel offers as an option three meals which is absolutely great option for moms with children. Recommended.

New and clean rooms. Toilets have showers and bidet. Access to the lake sandy beach along with a bridge over the lake.

I love to come n stay again at this location. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay memorable

Pros: Well cleaned superior double room, bed comfortability was above average, bathroom was cleaned too, hotel is near to beach area, overall property was quiet, the ambience of premises was clean and well maintained with varieties of flowers

Room for improvements: B&B should have buffet breakfast system with varieties of items (sucessive four days had same tabelled breakfast). Bathroom requires new equipments (hair drier) and its appurtenances
