I stayed before and after my trek and both times my room was perfect. I stayed on the second floor, overlooking a flower nursery and with the mountains in the distance.
Rooms were fitted with AC, and there was a water dispenser in the hotel as well. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms, and really nice and friendly staff who were always so welcoming and smiley.
A light breakfast (with egg choice!) was also provided. Hotel was also right opposite one of the best cafes in Karakol, Lighthouse Karakol, and within walking distance to almost anywhere you’d want to go.

Cozy place, family atmosphere, nice and kind hosts. Hot russian bath, nice breakfast. We were a group of 12. Recommend!

The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Comfortable beds and a lovely hot shower. The choice at breakfast was great to have a break from porridge!

A great hotel for exploring Karakol. Very clean rooms. Bathroom and shower were fantastic. Had in house laundry service which was excellent. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was wonderful.

Very well maintained hotel. The rooms are relatively modern and spacious. The only problem is the very thin curtains that let in too much sun in the morning. You need also to bring shower gel and shampoo (in room, only handwash). The internet works relatively well despite some interruptions. In the absence of an elevator, people with difficulties (especially with suitcases) can request a room on the ground floor. The hotel also offers breakfast with the option of real coffee (not instant coffee) for 200 soms.

Medium room size. Large bathroom size. Clean. Internet connection only at the reception. I had room 103 and had no internet in the room. Handheld showerhead. Comfortable bed. Available in the room: hairdryer, slippers. Power supply socket at bed side. Able to use EU plugs with no power supply adapter. Amenities: hand soap. TV available. Very kind staff. Vegetarian friendly breakfast.

I stayed at this hotel with my family in March, and we had a lovely experience. The check-in was quick and hassle-free. Our room was spacious, clean, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was very pleasant. The staff were polite and professional, and I’d especially like to mention the friendly and welcoming lady at the reception — she made a great first impression. The outdoor area was well-maintained and beautifully landscaped. It was a real pleasure to spend time outside with the kids — everything felt safe, clean, and peaceful. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return. Highly recommended for families!

These people cancelled my reservation few ours before my arrival claiming fake "water problems". We were left in the cold and without assistance in a country we don't know. Do not go there unless you like to hurt yourselves.

Fantastic homely atmosphere. Beautiful karakol. Food is amazing. Really enjoyed our stay. Very historical place. The spa area is great. People are wonderful. The weather was great. The food at restaurant are amazing. Hotel Amir was amazing. Samir was so insgithful. Very Islamic environment
