+ the location is amazing, just at the foot of the mountain.
+ sparkling cleanliness.
+ kind and helpful staff, but total lack of organization, starting with the customer service that is a kind of contact center not in the Karakol hotel and a website that shows a discount for members but it doesn't apply it when you book the room!
+ nice renovated room design and white bathroom.

- no desk in the room! they renovated the rooms forgetting to put a desk and a chair! instead, you will get an useless drawer unit and a couple of stoods!
- broken closet doors, it's difficult to make them slide.
- no net at the window, you will quickly get some buzzing flies as additional guests in the room.
- very soft mattress, you will sleep like in a basin.
- super hot in the room (25°) even if I set 20° and outside was much colder.
- sink has inverted hot / cold water.
- they left building marks on the tiles in the bathroom and on the closet... unbelievable!
- old elevator was making a lot of noise.
- steps of irregular height.
- official floor plans not corresponding to the real layout of the room 😱
- limited English for the staff, apart a kind guy at the restaurant.
- food was really poor and over-expensive, quality of a student canteen and price for a fancy restaurant. I just liked the bread, salads, and a kind of semolina / porridge for breakfast. Soups were ok. Main dish was awful, always.
- lack of education of several guests that were shouting in the corridor or slamming doors.
- finally, they are reconstructing the main road, better to check-out when it's allowed to pass (otherwise you might need to detour on a rather bumpy country road)

In a nutshell, I paid 80€ per night but the full experience is definitely not adequate for this price in KG. The management needs to pursue better quality if they want to attract international western customers also.

Very worst experience , No air conditioner or fan,not cleaning the room the next day, worst food, no receptionist to communicate..Please don't come in summer time here..

The most expensive ski resort on the mountain would not let us rent skis for night skiing. They also informed us that there was no where else that would rent us skis. However a short walk down the ski slope proved otherwise. Even with a room, you still must pay for amenities such as the pool and sauna. Bit of a price gouge. The rooms seem very average for how much you pay a night. Save your money and stay down the slope. Also a lack of english which may cause issues for visiting foreigners.

On the bright side, location is great, hotel has a neat design, the reception lady had a friendly smile.

On the plus side it’s a great location for skiing and you can also rent ski equipment.

However, the cleaning lady opened our door around 4:30 pm without knocking and we were not fully dressed. She opened our door again around 4:45 pm and asked us where we are leaving. Someone is waiting for this room, but the check out time is 5 pm. For the reasons of not respecting privacy, 1 star is warranted.

For the ski shop, overall it’s a solid and economical choice if you don’t mind they only take care of your girlfriend and the coach spent more than half of the time holding her hands and teaching her, while also asked her why she’s with me.
