The hotel is quite good. Convenient location between two parks and next to the Old Town, just a 5-minute walk away. Friendly reception staff and efficient check-in. The room was generally okay, but it could have been cleaned better; the walls were very dirty in several places. However, the bed, bathroom, and floor were clean. Breakfast could have had a wider selection, but it was tasty.

Ridzene is a bit "older" by their staff description... But it is well kept, has a super nice staff, and great breakfast (similar in choice and quality to what I recall of Rad Blu Latvia). Gym/sauna 24 hr, quiet as it is not the casino and conference center, but right across the park! Could it have been a kgb hotel, backed up to the old usa embassy??

This hotel is one of our favorites in Riga. The meal in the morning is great and the people are fantastic, but the hotel itself is getting very dated and worn down.

The hotel has a good location, and paid on-site parking is available. Breakfasts were delicious. HOWEVER, the rooms are quite dated. We found mold in the bathroom, which is a significant issue for allergy sufferers. If you have allergies, we definitely do not recommend staying here.

The rooms were huge. The person who chooses the sleeper couch is spared the snoring in the bedroom given the door that closes on it. Breakfast was promptly ready at 7am. Egg soufle was light and fluffy. Large selection. Front end help was superlative.

This hotel is OK. The room has everything you need. It is also very close to the station and the transportation location is very convenient. Overall, it is worth recommending.

Overall a pretty good hotel. Rooms a bit old fashioned. A bit far away if you want to explore the old town etc. We used the Bolt app to get around as otherwise there would have been too much walking. Stayed here for the Rimi Riga Marathon 2026. The staff were amazingly helpful with information about getting around the city, places to see, and places to eat. Very friendly and helpful. Rooms was basic and quite small, cold (as the heating was off "for the summer season") and the shower had low pressure. About a 10 minute walk into the main part of town, via the parks which are lovely.

The breakfast is good, especially the cottage cheese pancakes. The room was reasonable, but I believe furniture needs to be renovated. There aren’t enough toiletries in the bathroom. I really enjoyed my stay at the Grand Palace Hotel. The staff at check-in were so gracious and friendly. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. I loved the turn down service in the evenings. Entrance to foyer is up about 10 STEEP steps with inadequate handrail. Be warned if you are wobbly on your feet, no one will help with your cases. Bus guests made breakfast a real nightmare. I have never experienced a breakfast like this anywhere in the world.

Peaceful hotel in a really beautiful area. We had no view from the junior suite but it was clean, quiet and spacious. The breakfast selection was good but the breakfast buffet was quite crowded each morning. The sauna facilities were nice, but sauna was missing a light for some reason. Friendly staff. What a Gem! So glad I found this boutique hotel right in the heart of “old town” Riga. Only a handful of rooms, each unique and very nicely appointed. Elevator or stairs to get you to the rooftop bar that’s open seasonally. breakfast is amazing in the Michelin rated restaurant downstairs. The service by the front desk was terrific as well, always helpful with transportation or other advice.

Much cigarette smoke from neighbor on the terrace In general the breakfast was okay. But the poultry was cold and the egg was cooked to much. And it should not be allowed to sit on the ground terrace and smoke and make neighbors to passive smoker. And the room could be a little bit more warm and cozy.

Apartment style family rooms with stairs to second floor are not really child/toddler friendly unfortunately. Bathroom was small and uncomfortable. No refund policy, if You book for several nights, but leave early.

The rooms were clean and comfortably furnished. The hotel made us feel welcome. The only downside is the parking spaces, which are few and one night we had to find a place on the opposite street. I praise the breakfast and the service, everything was 5+. I also used the spa services and the massage was great, so I recommend them.

A modern hotel with large rooms, very friendly staff, OK breakfast, and just 2 blocks away from the beach. It's 1.5 km to the busy center which can be done easily by walking, Bolt, or e-scooters. Laundry of a full load is 10 Euro only. I'd probably stay here again when back in Jurmala

Villa Santa is a magical place surrounded by a forest, in the most beautiful town of Vidzeme. Every time I return there, I feel like home. The restaurant serves excellent food. In this place, every detail has been thought out for the well-being of the guests.

Beautiful old hotel nicely adorned with multiple buildings to stay in. Dinner was great and they easily adapted to our food sensitivities. Breakfast is more than ample with many choices for hot and cold. Don’t forget to do the sauna. Both regular and steam saunas in the hotel to go back and forth in or sit for a few minutes and enjoy the view of the forest.

The Adazi Port Hotel stay of over three weeks was an incredibly positive experience. The room was always spotless, and the comfortable bed made it easy to relax after a long day.
