The Putra Regency Hotel in Kangar

Old hotel with old furniture and appliance . The only consideration is the good location.

The room is quite big for 2 adults. The negative side is the TV channel...always ...no signal...

My kids are very happy. Overall the hotel is good. Just satisfied with everything there

Centrally located. We were on the eighth floor of an 11-story building, which offered great views. When I booked, only twin rooms were available, but they offered to switch us to a double when we checked in. The room was spacious, with a large, comfortable bed and four pillows.

There was a lot of noise from the neighboring room (we shared a connecting door), you could literally hear every sneeze. Luckily, the neighbor checked out later, and the noise stopped.

Breakfasts from 7 AM were good, with about 5-6 hot dishes, cereal, rice porridge with toppings, stewed meat, rice, and noodles.

On the downside, there were very few power outlets in the room – only by the kettle and TV, and the one by the TV wasn't working (though credit to them, they sent someone to fix it right away). The internet setup was terrible; I had to connect my laptop and all devices through my husband's phone. The plumbing was old, and the bidet faucet was broken.

When we asked about the local bus stop, they said there was one near the hotel. Good thing we didn't listen and still caught a bus from the actual stop. I wish the concierge staff were more informed about local transport.

Hotel are little bit old but spacious. The staff are helpful. Its clean and the breakfast not have many choice.

Nice hotel, but old furniture. Comfortable stay. Air cond good, hot water in bath room function.
