This was our 15th resort in the Maldives and we stayed in villa 26 just after the transition from Raffles to The Halcyon We stayed in a spectacular overwater villa reachable only by speedboat from the main island

The room is incredibly spacious and beautifully decorated. It comes with a separate living area and a large pool with exceptional views of the ocean

Snorkeling was a highlight, with plenty of marine life just off the island, and there’s a good variety of other water activities to try as well

The team was very friendly and attentive, and you can feel the level of care in how personalized everything is, down to the smallest details

The food was of a decent quality although we felt could have been improved considering the price tag of the resort

A great choice if you want both a luxury feel and a more natural island atmosphere

The hotel is situated in a remote island, without any other resorts or people, so expect highest levels of tranquility, the lack of other islands around also means no overcrowded snorkeling spots, no loud boats or no speed boats chasing the marine life! The set up is beautiful, with a vast garden, which makes you feel like you are in a jungle, I almost didn't see other guests during the day

Striped by a long white beach with a swimming lagune of transparent turquoise water, the hotel also offers many activities, to discover marine life in a human manner - making sure the guests know how to treat the nature and environment around

No disco - only natures sounds. Very friendly staff and great tours to choose from. Perfect for snorkeling and diving. Fantastic food buffets with a lot of seafood. What’s not to like

I was travelling with my 15 months old baby and can only recommend. The staff is awesome from the cleaning people to the waiters at the restaurant. Clean place in a heaven location

We are lucky enough to have come back to this resort for a second time, the resort is small compared to some islands which we like, I was lucky enough to have had two dives with the dive team who are just amazing, tom who guided me on the dives was so helpful and the rest of the dive time were also amazing, I also visited Lee the Chinese therapist who was amazing, a special shout out to the lovely...

This place was like paradise , It had the right balance between total relaxation, sports activities , animation team and evening entertainment

We had an amazing experience and stay at the island, our waitress Sabina Akhtar Rahman was a very hospitable and sweet host, there were numerous different types of cuisine to choose from and we had an amazing time as honeymooners, we also had a special cake for us!

It is a small beautiful island , cleaned and maintained to a highest standard. All inclusive option , breakfast , lunch and dinner had variety and was lovely. All staff were extremely polite and professional

We stayed in October 2025 for eight nights. the island was flooded at night. The rooms are cleaned every day, even a couple of times a day. This is one of the cheapest all-inclusive hotels, not far from Male

This was our fifth visit to Kandolhu and once more we had a fantastic holiday. The weather was perfect so we were able to snorkel a few times a day, regularly right round the whole reef

The coral is visibly showing more colour and life. As always we saw lots of turtles, rays (eagle, sting rays and mini mantas), shoals of beautiful fusiliers and so much more

One of our main criteria for choosing Kandolhu is the reef which is spectacular but we also choose it for the team and the food

Swimming with sea turtles and manta rays is a life-changing experience. Sandbank Picnic: For something truly magical, book a trip to a private sandbank. It’s just you, the white sand, and the endless blue ocean

Sunset fishing was a peaceful and fun experience, while Dolphin Quest and Turtle Quest snorkeling were absolute highlights – getting to see these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat was truly unforgettable

From arranging noise-cancelling headphones for our daughter on the (very noisy!) seaplane, to organizing beautiful surprises in the villa – including sandcastles, balloons, gifts, and decorations using photos from her birth – she truly made the experience magical

The pool was also large and clean, but the sun loungers and especially the towels could use replacing; some were full of stains and holes

Just returned from a fabulous week in medufushi, all staff from the groundsmen,cleaners to bar staff and reception were lovely,friendly and attentive Fauzan looked after us very well in the restaurant everyday

We were on the side were the tide did being in the sea ****, but it was cooler and always had a breeze. didn’t like the mosquito spray every day at 4 as noisy and smelly but learnt to avoid it

Kudadoo somehow managed to exceed our expectations on our second stay—something we didn’t think was possible after our first visit

We can’t think of trying another new resort in the Maldives as Kudadoo raised the bar so high I think it’s almost to find a resort as good as this. No wonder majority of the guests are returning guests

If one family member wanted to rest, they would constantly be disturbed by others needing the door opened, making it hard to sleep peacefully. Indoor slippers were also not provided in the Arena Veli building

On the positive side, drinking water can be refilled for free, which is environmentally friendly and cost-saving. We also joined the half-day sea tour, but unfortunately it did not meet expectations

Although the hotel end up has tried their best to arrange us in at least the same building on the second day (thats why i gave 4 stars for service)

In short, I felt like the room arrangement was not handled with much care. Each room only comes with one key card, which was quite troublesome

Instead, three rooms were in Arena Veli while one was placed in a different building (Arena Sea View), which made coordination inconvenient

There were no dolphins sighted, and we were taken to only two snorkeling spots — one of which had very little to see. The crew kept asking us to take photos, which made the experience feel more commercial than enjoyable

Sandies Bathala, was everything we hoped for and were not disappointed. With only 70 properties, 30 Water Villas and 40 Beach Villas its the perfect retreat if you are looking for a peaceful uncomplicated resort

Musthafa number 1 in cleaning our room every day (2 Times a day) and creating the special atmosphere that maked us happy to come back in our room every night! Thank you all for this wonderful vacation

Our restaurant waiter Magic, was awsome he totally went out of his way to make sure we wanted for nothing even helped with teaching us a few Maldivian words to use during our stay

To Muhamid and his incredible bar staff, who always remember our drinks and has a wicked sense of humour. And last by no means least the activities crew for your happy engaging personalities

This is a wonderful place! We loved it. The food is delicious, and dinners are different every day, depending on the evening's theme. The reef is rich in marine life and very beautiful

Bathala is a beautiful small island for a superb relaxing holiday. We never wore our shoes once on Bathala (loved that!). Staff went out of their way to make our holiday extra special

Every day, a man nicknamed Kokosman spread good mood and coconuts around the island. We were extremely satisfied with the services on the island. The villa was perfectly cleaned twice every day

Excellent resort to visit for families with young children. Two islands, divided by a bridge. One to chill another to have fun. My kids loved the kids club. Pools, views and service are amazing.

We had an amazing stay at OBLU SELECT Sangeli! Everything was absolutely perfect from the moment we arrived. The room was beautiful, very clean, spacious, and with stunning views

You can truly relax and enjoy every moment. The staff was incredibly helpful, friendly, and always smiling. They made us feel welcome and taken care of during our entire stay

After a huge amount of research into resorts with the best house reef, we chose OBLU Sangeli (also highly recommended by our travel agency) — and we did not regret it at all! To be honest, we went out to the sea every single day and only explored the house reef on our last day… which made us wish we had even more time

Beyond the snorkelling, the hospitality from each and every member of staff was absolutely exceptional — whether they were directly serving us or not

They remembered where we liked to sit, what drinks we preferred, and were so genuinely attentive throughout our 5 day stay. We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary, and it couldn’t have been more special

This is our third stay at Gangehi Island Resort & Spa. We returned because the island is small and intimate. You feel like you're on your own private island. Staying in a water bungalow, you can admire the sunsets daily

Gangehi is a well-maintained 4 star resort for travellers focusing on value for money - and the value is great: nice rooms (beach and over-water bungalows), great food, dive centre, spa, fitness room and nice garden

We truly enjoyed our stay – everything was wonderful! The staff are incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. The restaurant team might just be the most cheerful people we’ve ever met – they made every meal a joy

Amazingly beautiful small island with fantastic underwater world- this is the perfect place for anyone who loves dividing and snorkelling or just enjoying the paradise-like beach and crystal-clear water

The stunning rooftop pool offers fantastic views over the island and is a great place to enjoy a Mocktail. Situated close to an idyllic bikini beach, there is also an activity desk with some great ideas

​The food was consistently delicious with a great variety, and a major highlight was the rooftop infinity pool—the views are breathtaking! It was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring

It was fun to watch the surfers riding the waves nearby, and the local town is a short walk away where there are a few shops and cafes. All the staff at the Hotel were so kind and helpful

From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay

We also booked a visit to Shark Island where i was privileged to snorkel with about 6 sharks who were bigger than me

We stayed at Anantara Veli for 11 nights and had the best time of our lives. Let's begin with the service, from the minute we arrived to the airport to the moment we checked out the service was absolutely flawless

We left two weeks ago and are still talking about the people, the food and the resort. From being whisked away to the lounge after landing, we were on a speedboat to Anantara Veli in less than 15 minutes

Ban Hura was one of these restaurants that stood out with its amazing Thai cuisine making it a must try for all! Every staff member we encountered, from the check- in to the cleaning staff were friendly, delightful and made our stay super comfortable! The hotel even decorated our room for my birthday and gifted me a complimentary cake and champagne which was truly a class act and made my day even more...

The turquoise water is so beautiful that pictures and videos do not do it justice. The grounds were always clean and every staff member will make sure you have anything and everything you need as soon as you sit down

Honorable mentions to the greatest people we came across during our stay: Mithun in Dhoni Bar, Bokey in Cumin, Hassan and Lyss in Origami and of course, our room boy Ruhul, who kept our overwater pool villa spotless twice a day, everyday

At breakfast, Manik and Bokey were so attentive with lovely smiling faces. Kamal at the pool bar was amazing. Always coming to check on us, fill drinks and take pictures

For those seeking authenticity and wishing to immerse themselves in an untouched natural environment, this is the ideal destination. The quality of the food is outstanding, and one experience not to be missed is fishing

It would also be nice if guests adhered to the dress code. No cell phones or smoking in the restaurant or on the terrace

From reception to restaurant staff, live-cooking chef, housekeeping, and management, everyone was outstanding. The food was excellent—varied, full of flavor, and with spectacular fresh fish

The dive center inside the resort is fantastic, and the snorkeling activities incredible. The whole resort has a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. We felt sad leaving, already missing this beautiful place

The sunset side has beautifull views and a cooler tenprature fewling, but in my opinion is more open and does not seem as private as the sunrise side. The sunset side has beautifull sunsets and a stunning sea

The adults pool at Iru Veli was very quiet and had just a few couples around it – so that was great for us, and we could go to the busier main pool for a change

Amazing atmosphere, the staff is very kind and sinceerfull especially the waiter Pradid that showed up smiling every day and our ambassador adam that took care of us on the island

Thank you! An insider tip: Pick a side that fits you. The sunrise side is full with life, corals and marine animals like baby sharks, rayas, and turtles. It has a very calm sea but its really hot on this side

It was a perfect rest. It was a quiet and wonderful place. Good 👍🏻 The view made me want to visit again, and I even saw dolphins at the accommodation on the last day!

We were then shown to our room by our ambassador Shakeeb which was an ocean villa room 616 which was quite big, views wonderful with our own pool

The resort offers one free snorkel trip every day, but swimming around the island is so good as well. Bungalows are super nice with good amenities, AC and open air bathroom fitted with quality items (Grohe)

Warm and friendly staff. Had a wonderful time there. Clean and comfortable rooms. The spa experience was great. The food was excellent. Beautiful tropical setting, beach and sea to unwind and relax.

This was my first Maldives trip, so I was a bit nervous I might not be impressed, but it was a nice surprise that I will remember in my heart. First of all, this is a barefoot island

com but was disappointed when the staff didn't go to the new terminal to pick us up and we had to find our own way pass the old terminal to find their assisting counter. It was a 45 mins speedboat ride to the resort

There are people checking out at 6am and they get the rooms ready for the next guest immediately, so if you land at Male at 8am, they will check you in as soon as you get on the island

there’s no concrete, but sand everywhere. The beach amazing and never thought snorkel could be so good only feet away from getting in the water

It’s not just simple buffet, but detailed-oriented buffet that includes varies of cuisines, different main courses and many types of food. Bravo! I wish I could extend our stay. Minor suggestions to improve: 1

It was our first stay at ROBINSON Maldives, and it exceeded all our expectations. We had a truly wonderful vacation with stunning views, a beautiful beach, and an incredible house reef full of colorful fish

We also really enjoyed the delicious food, the talantlivye chefs, and the fast, professional service in the restaurant. Everything was fresh, tasty, and prepared with care

Food was insane!! Drinks were so fresh and the staff wow! All bartenders and restaurant staff had us well looked after! Nazlaan in particular was AMAZING! Nothing was ever too much, he made us feel welcome, always put a smile of our face and went over and above, our glasses never empty! All staff were so wonderful and friendly, our rooms were incredibly clean and fresh

The views of the beaches around the island and out from our room were so surreal, I had to keep taking a moment to remind myself I was seeing it with my own eyes! The food was amazing at every meal, and it was something different every day which kept us going back for more; the reef fish was a personal favourite

It is true 5 star luxury - we never wated to leave! All booked via Amit at Simply Maldives who offered a fabulous service from start to finish, even helping us with flight disruptions by having a backup plan so we didn't have to cancel

Aside from this, everything was absolutely wonderful, and we are already looking forward to coming back. Extra thanks to Rojila, who did everything possible to make our stay comfortable and truly memorable

Jawakara was paradise from the minute we stepped off the seaplane. We were met by our island host who gave us a guided tour and escorted us to our accommodation

He is incredibly friendly, helpful, and always goes the extra mile to make guests feel comfortable and taken care of. His hospitality truly stands out. I can highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Maldives

Every member of staff we came across couldn't do enough to help (Govin in Saima was so helpful and friendly). Our overwater villa was absolutely amazing and all the food and drinks of the highest quality
