We had an amazing stay at OBLU SELECT Sangeli! Everything was absolutely perfect from the moment we arrived.
The room was beautiful, very clean, spacious, and with stunning views. You can truly relax and enjoy every moment.
The staff was incredibly helpful, friendly, and always smiling. They made us feel welcome and taken care of during our entire stay. Their attention to detail and kindness really made the difference.
The food, the atmosphere, and the overall experience were excellent. We truly loved it here and would definitely come back!

After a huge amount of research into resorts with the best house reef, we chose OBLU Sangeli (also highly recommended by our travel agency) — and we did not regret it at all!
To be honest, we went out to the sea every single day and only explored the house reef on our last day… which made us wish we had even more time.
Beyond the snorkelling, the hospitality from each and every member of staff was absolutely exceptional — whether they were directly serving us or not. They remembered where we liked to sit, what drinks we preferred, and were so genuinely attentive throughout our 5 day stay.
We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary, and it couldn’t have been more special. On the day itself, there was an Indian Gala Dinner, which made it feel like a proper celebration. Ravi and Kamal went the extra mile and created a beautiful special presentation for us that evening — a truly memorable touch.
I went on the Nurse Shark snorkelling trip on my own as my husband was feeling seasick. I was wonderfully looked after by Mosharaf on the boat and Sohag in the lagoon. As we speak the same language, it felt even more reassuring and personal. The journey there and back was smooth and enjoyable, and the snorkelling itself was unforgettable. Sohag patiently answered all my (very silly!) questions and even took amazing videos for me — I am completely hopeless with a GoPro.
All in all, this has been one of the best snorkelling holidays I’ve ever had, made even more special by the people who looked after us so beautifully.

Communication before arrival was good. However, shared transfer wait time was much longer than promised upon arrival (120 mins vs. 60 mins) which needs improvement.
Food variety at Courtyard was limited with repetitive daily menus. Snorkelling equipment had to be returned by 5pm the day before checkout.
Housekeeping did an excellent job maintaining cleanliness — well done to the team.

I spent the most beautiful days of my life at OBLU Sangeli. I honestly don’t even know where to begin when describing this experience. This is truly a five star resort in every possible aspect.
The island itself is absolutely stunning like something out of a dream. The food was fantastic, with an incredible variety, especially since there were three different restaurants to choose from. Every meal felt special and perfectly prepared.
Our Honeymoon Villa was simply perfect spacious, elegant, and incredibly comfortable. It offered privacy, luxury, and everything we could have wished for during such a special trip.
But the most beautiful part of my journey was the amazing people. The energy from the resort staff was truly unforgettable. The service was exceptional, and everyone was always smiling and welcoming. You could genuinely feel the warmth and kindness all around. A very special thank you to Niheart, our butler, who was absolutely fantastic. First of all, the hospitality was fantastic. The entire staff, without exception, were extremely positive, always smiling, kind, and genuinely caring. I would especially like to mention my man, Niheart, he was available at all times, very helpful, and provided solutions for everything I needed.
The food was superb! Three restaurants, each better than the other. Great variety, generous portions, fresh ingredients, and absolutely delicious.
Our villa was amazing, offering a breathtaking view. It was spotlessly clean, with a sufficiently large swimming pool and a very nice bathroom as well.
I would happily return again in the future.

However, the true value of this resort lies in its people.
The team made it possible for us to simply relax and enjoy life. Everyone was unbelievably kind, warm, and genuinely caring — always with natural, non-intrusive hospitality at every stage of our stay. From check-in, to the amazing Courtyard restaurant team (waiters and chefs alike), and especially Amir, who took wonderful care of our villa — everyone was helpful, engaged, and truly invested in making our stay special.
Without a doubt, this is the best resort we have ever stayed at as a family.

So relaxing this trip ! Cannot wait to go Maldives again . Snorkelling is the best water activities in here .
