Our stay at Sun Siyam Iru Veli was absolutely exceptional and truly one of the best travel experiences we have ever had. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, everything was flawless. The island is stunning, the villas are beautiful and very comfortable, the beaches are breathtaking, and the food in every restaurant was outstanding. The entire resort is perfectly maintained and creates a peaceful, luxurious atmosphere that makes you feel relaxed from the first minute.

What really made our stay unforgettable was the incredible team working at the resort. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine smiles made us feel welcome and cared for every single day.

We would like to give a special thank you to Salgi, Ripon, Naufal, Namal, Ray, Thilak, Kang, Khalifa, Paraash, Abi, Riadi, Matey, Zayaan, Nita, Salah, Chaw, and Pooja. Each of them went above and beyond to make our stay perfect, always being attentive, friendly, and ready to help with anything we needed.

We would also like to thank all the other wonderful staff members who were with us throughout our stay. Your hard work, positive energy, and attention to detail truly make this resort special.

Sun Siyam Iru Veli is a paradise and a place we will remember for a long time. We highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for an unforgettable Maldives experience.

Amazing atmosphere, the staff is very kind and sinceerfull especially the waiter Pradid that showed up smiling every day and our ambassador adam that took care of us on the island. Thank you! An insider tip: Pick a side that fits you. The sunrise side is full with life, corals and marine animals like baby sharks, rayas, and turtles. It has a very calm sea but its really hot on this side. The sunset side has beautifull views and a cooler tenprature fewling, but in my opinion is more open and does not seem as private as the sunrise side. The sunset side has beautifull sunsets and a stunning sea. I really enjoyed both sides, really recommend this.

It was a perfect rest. It was a quiet and wonderful place. Good 👍🏻 The view made me want to visit again, and I even saw dolphins at the accommodation on the last day!

This was the first time we have been to the Maldives and it won’t be the last. Seaplane took 35 minutes then a 5 min boat ride. We were then shown to our room by our ambassador Shakeeb which was an ocean villa room 616 which was quite big, views wonderful with our own pool. Breakfast ,lunch and dinner at the Aqua Orange was self service and a full variety of dishes. Grouper grill and Roma which was included in the package you could not fault. We paid for the Lobster BBQ and Teppanyaki , the BBQ which was all set up on the beach and the food was excellent, and so was the Teppanyaki . On the last night we paid for the ‘Dine by Design’ it was expensive but what a wonderful night, a private table on the beach with two members of staff , one cook and one waiter and they set up a cooking station a few yards away. I want to make a special thank you to our ambassador Shakeeb who was excellent and too Muna who served us at breakfast every morning.

We visited the Maldives for the first time with our teenage kids in February, and Sun Siyam Iru Veli couldn’t have been a better choice. From the moment we arrived, everything just felt easy, welcoming and relaxed. It was the perfect mix of luxury and laid-back island life for all of us.

We stayed in both the Ocean Residence and a Beach Villa - two completely different experiences, and we loved them both. The Ocean Residence felt incredibly private and special, waking up surrounded by nothing but endless shades of blue. The Beach Villa had that true barefoot luxury feeling, stepping straight out onto the soft white sand. And the bathrooms at Iru Veli are an experience in themselves - just amazing!

We spent a lot of our time underwater, snorkeling around the island is awesome! One of the absolute highlights was diving with the Dive Centre, especially with our dive master Miranda. She gave us experiences we will never forget. We felt completely safe, and her calm, positive energy made every dive special. Visiting amazing reefs and seeing dolphins, rays, sharks, fish and turtles together is something we’ll always carry with us. Thank you!

A huge thank you as well to our island host, Sharyaan, who kept us updated throughout our stay and arranged every request quickly and smoothly. It made everything effortless so we could just focus on enjoying our time together.

We also have to mention the housekeeper of the Ocean Residence during our stay. He was so kind and thoughtful - showing us fish and turtles around the villa and creating the most beautiful and creative bed decorations. Those small surprises made such a big difference and added so much joy to our stay.

And the teams at Aqua Orange, Roma, Grouper Grill and Chemistry Bar were fantastic - fast, friendly and always attentive. Great food, great drinks and such a nice atmosphere. What really made Iru Veli special wasn’t just the stunning setting, but the people who work there. The warmth and genuine care made us feel truly welcome!

We are more than happy with our stay and would love to come back 🩵!

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome.
Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Shakeeb and Sho, who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.
They truly made our stay special.

The cleanliness of the hotel was fantastic. Everything, from our room to the commmon areas, was spotless and well-maintained. It was very comforting to know that such high standards of hygiene were being kept.

And the food! Wow. The dining experience was one of the highlights of our trip. Every meal we had was delicious, with so many options to choose from. The quality and taste of the food were excellent throughout our entire stay.

We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great experience. Thank you again to the wonderful team, especially Shakeeb and Sho!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Sun Siyam Iru Veli — everything from the breathtaking views and beautiful villa to the warm hospitality made this trip truly unforgettable. The island is pure paradise, and the service throughout the resort was consistently exceptional.

A very special thank you to Shaff, our ambassador/butler, who went above and beyond to make sure every moment of our stay was perfect. She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and always available to help with anything we needed — she truly made us feel cared for and welcome.

We also want to give a huge thank you to Ambika and Das at the spa for their terrific massages. Their professionalism and skill were outstanding, and the spa experience was one of the highlights of our trip — deeply relaxing and rejuvenating.

Huge shoutout to Ranjith at the chemistry bar. Full of life and personality, amazing service and great to talk to.

And a special mention to Grouper Grill — the food was absolutely phenomenal, and the service was somehow even better. The grilled prawns were to die for, easily one of the best dishes we had during our stay. Our server Kadek was incredibly amicable and genuinely so lovely to talk to — she made the whole dining experience even more enjoyable.

We’re so grateful for such a wonderful experience and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend Sun Siyam Iru Veli to anyone looking for a luxury getaway with outstanding service!

It was a totally amazing experience at this resort. The people were welcoming and pleasant and respectful. Special thanks to Shuhaan our ambassador for curating the best experiences. We stayed at Iluveli for 3 nights enjoying sunrise snorkeling and 4 nights enjoying dolphin water snorkeling. The seven-day seaplane flight for two was free. The activities were really worthwhile. The scenery of Maldives is still as beautiful as ever. Compared with Paradise Island, the island is smaller and less crowded, so it is quieter. The rooms are also large enough and well-equipped. They all have a small swimming pool, which is great for soaking in after snorkeling. As for food, most of the dishes are white. The burgers and fried fish at the barbecue restaurant are delicious. The steaks at the Roman restaurant and the barbecue restaurant are also worth trying. You can see the perfect Milky Way at night. The butler and service staff are also very enthusiastic. I spent a completely relaxing week here. It was great~

Visited the resort in August with my family, and I have to say it really lived up to everything I hoped for. The beach villa was just perfect—only a few meters from the pool and beach, with an amazing view. Everything we needed was there, and the reef so close by was great to explore. We loved the Grouper Grill, the food was delicious and the atmosphere very cozy. Our waiter Pradeep made it even better—he was so friendly and attentive, and really stood out during our stay. The trips arranged by the hotel were also very enjoyable, giving us the chance to see different reefs and sea life. A big thanks as well to Shihan, who was always helpful and made our stay even more pleasant. Overall, it was a wonderful holiday and we’d love to come back.
