Our stay at Fiyavalhu Resort Maldives was amazing and exceeded our expectations. Despite our delayed arrival the staff welcomed us with great understanding and kindness. From reception to restaurant staff, live-cooking chef, housekeeping, and management, everyone was outstanding.
The food was excellent—varied, full of flavor, and with spectacular fresh fish. The dive center inside the resort is fantastic, and the snorkeling activities incredible. The whole resort has a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere.
We felt sad leaving, already missing this beautiful place. We hope to return one day

It was very disappointing. There was no beach—the shore was rocky, and there were huge waves on this side of the island for the entire two-week vacation. You couldn't go into the sea. The beach was filthy, with lots of construction debris, and no one cleaned it up. The room service staff was extremely annoying.
Be prepared that they might surprise you the night before check-out and try to send you back to Male at 6:00 AM. Although the original arrangement was for 1:00 PM, I categorically refused—after all, the next hotel wouldn't check me in until 1:00 PM, and I wasn't going to sit in the lobby for five hours. I found a decent transfer from the island for a third of the price, but they told me they'd keep 30% of the transfer fee. Even though they'd changed the check-out time themselves, I had to fight to get my money back.

My friend and I were initially not fully satisfied with our first week in the Maldives, as we felt something was missing, and therefore decided to extend our stay. We could not have imagined that we would eventually discover the true essence of that country, although that was exactly what we were hoping for.
The experience did not start in the best way due to a service issue with the seaplane company; however, we soon realised that delays and minor inconveniences, related to transportation, are to be expected. From that point onward, everything improved significantly. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival and upgraded to a beachfront room, which immediately set a positive tone for the rest of our stay.
The General Manager kindly offered us a complimentary massage, allowing us to completely forget the initial stress and fully relax into the experience.
Shifla took excellent care of us, ensuring that nothing was ever missing in our room. Housekeeping service was truly five-star, both in terms of punctuality and the impeccable condition in which the room was consistently left.
For those seeking authenticity and wishing to immerse themselves in an untouched natural environment, this is the ideal destination.
The quality of the food is outstanding, and one experience not to be missed is fishing. The resort offers the opportunity to have your catch grilled, which is extremely rewarding. Enjoying it at a table overlooking the ocean, barefoot on the sand, is simply unforgettable.

The food is very good and varied, which is especially important for an all-inclusive experience.
I would like to give special thanks to the following people who truly made our stay memorable:
Ali, the resort manager, who clearly brings great energy to the teams and leads them to do an excellent job.

A small, cosy and exceptionally beautiful resort set on an island – the perfect combination, allowing you to experience the authentic local life while returning to the tranquillity and comfort of the resort. The white sands and the blue sea are right at your doorstep, with no lagoon separating the island from the ocean – you face the raw, stunning power of the Indian Ocean directly.
I was also given a complimentary upgrade from a garden room to a beach bungalow, which was absolutely fantastic. The bungalows are huge, spacious and very well maintained. Cleanliness is of a very high standard – the rooms are cleaned twice a day, and there is always someone nearby, ready to assist with anything you may need.
The staff are exceptional – warm, attentive and incredibly quick to respond. The young team at reception deserve special praise: you mention an issue, and it’s resolved immediately, regardless of the hour. A big compliment also goes to the head chef – the food is genuinely impressive.
If you want to feel like Robinson Crusoe, but with comfort and class, this is the place. Peace, romance and pure nature – just you, the palms, the sun and the endless Indian Ocean. A perfect choice for a complete escape.

My wife and I arrived at the beautiful Fiyavalhu Resort in the Maldives on Sunday, September 7th, 2025. From the very first moment, we were absolutely amazed – it is simply breathtaking here.
The weather is pleasantly warm, the food is excellent and very diverse. There is a wide variety of dishes to choose from, so everyone will find something to enjoy. What impressed us the most is the staff: they are extremely friendly, attentive, and always ready to help – you immediately feel welcome.
Our room is comfortable and tastefully decorated. We sleep wonderfully, the air conditioning works perfectly, and the view is beyond words – something you truly have to experience yourself.
The resort offers both villas with private pools as well as a beautiful public pool. If you’d like a change of scenery, you can visit the nearby village. It is charming to explore and even has a supermarket, which is very convenient if you need anything.
As this is our first time here, we were curious what to expect – and we can honestly say that our expectations have been exceeded. It is the perfect place to relax, enjoy, and simply feel at ease. We are certain that we will return.

The hotel is very comfortable, with spacious rooms. Although located on a residential island, the resort occupies about one-third of the island. Breakfast and dinner are buffets, and the quality is good. Because there aren't many rooms and guests, the variety isn't huge, but it's more than enough, and the seafood is well-cooked, and the desserts are also quite good. The fruit selections are three varieties daily: watermelon, orange, and cantaloupe, which is more than enough. The lunch buffet is especially good, with a à la carte menu for main courses. We stayed for seven days, a full week, and the menu changed every day, all cooked to perfection. The hotel is a bit pricey for the $390 USD per person required for the seaplane flight to the island, and the airport pickup service is poor (but after complaining, the hotel provided a dedicated person to drop us off directly at the check-in counter in Male, which was excellent). The value for money is excellent. It's truly affordable, and the island staff are also very friendly. Outside the resort, the island residents are incredibly welcoming. We visited three times, and each time we experienced the locals' cheerfulness and warmth.
