The owner got frustrated for simply asking some questions - extremely disrespectful and unprofessional owner. Highly not recommended.

The worst place ever been in my life.The pictutes are far from reality.We arrived at the farmhouse where we put a/c on and after 3 hours we are sweating more and more.Called the owner and she came over where she stated that they were working before.She told us to open the front and back door to have some air.I told her what?Do you think we are still in 1980s living without a/c and getting here for relaxation and it turned into a nightmare.Plus the bathrooms no hot water,the sofas were destroyed,the kitchen was empty no pots and plates and fridge was rusty.The pool was fool of pigeon poo where she told us its clean.We ended up collecting our money packing and leaving.Total disaster of a place be careful you don't get what you see.

Hello Reviewers! I want to share my recent stay at Bellavista Farmhouse, and it was not a good one. My family and friends booked this farmhouse for a weekend, hoping for a great time, but it turned out to be quite disappointing!!! * False Advertisement: The pictures we saw online were misleading. The actual farmhouse looked old and not well maintained, unlike what we saw in the pictures. * Uncomfortable Sofa: The sofa in the living room was in really bad shape. The cushions were all worn out, making it uncomfortable to sit. * Broken Air Conditioning: The air conditioner was old and didn't work at all. We contacted the owner about this, and their response was not good. They didn't apologize and said they couldn't help with the air conditioning until our departure * Unclean Shower Room: The shower room was rusty and not clean. It was not a pleasant experience using it. On top of these issues, the owner was really rude. When we told them about the broken air conditioner, they didn't care and didn't even apologise. They dismissed our concerns and told us to keep the doors open instead of fixing the air conditioning. The offered us a fan, for the open plan when we are 10 persons.. The overall condition of the farmhouse was disappointing, and it was clear that it hadn't been taken care of properly. It was frustrating that the owner didn't take our concerns seriously and tried to blame us by saying that previous guests didn't complain. In the end, we had to leave the farmhouse. Thankfully, we found another place called Pergola Farmhouse, which was a much better experience. They were welcoming and the place was clean and beautiful too. I hope this review helps others know about the problems we faced at Bellavista. It's important to be aware of these issues before booking. Thanks

From the very moment we stepped foot onto the property, our experience turned into an unfortunate ordeal. Regrettably, the house itself was far from being in a desirable state; to add to our dismay, even the sofa was broken. The pool, which should have been a source of enjoyment, was dishearteningly dirty, and the owner's explanation blaming the wind did little to alleviate our disappointment. Compounding our frustration, the air conditioning in the living room was outdated and non-functional. Contacting the owner for assistance only led to a dismissive response, suggesting we make do with fans or open doors for a breeze. This proved to be the tipping point, as we reminded her that we had paid for a service, and what we were encountering fell far short of acceptable standards. Sadly, the owner's demeanor towards us took a turn for the worse, displaying a noticeable lack of courtesy. Consequently, we felt compelled to abandon the property, opting to secure an alternative farmhouse on the very same day. Eventually, the owner refunded our payment due to our inability to endure the lack of air conditioning. This unfortunate experience has left an indelible mark, ensuring that we will not consider returning to this property. Given the amount we paid, we are fully aware that there are numerous more luxurious options available in Gozo.

Arrived at night so didn’t see properly, on waking up we were very disappointed, the place is Old, tires, dirty, we complained at the state of the place, the cleaner came back in, but made no real difference, the complex is good, the outside area is private and acceptable but inside is terrible, the kitchen is bogging it’s that old no amount of cleaning would make it look clean, so we never used it, the bedrooms are filthy, we went out and bought new bedding and pillows, the mattress is very uncomfortable( hardly slept ) the living area is plane and simply not acceptable both sofas were filthy and Brocken, un- usable we have traveled to Gozo many times we were married there the standard is usually very good but not this place, if you want to be over charged for a dirty old farm hose this is the place for you, ( very disappointed as it could be Fabulous)

Do not recommend staying here. There are a few pluses like the nice view, quiet area and spacious apartments.

Everything else is not good.
- Showers in our house (Rebeca) had the worst water pressure I’ve seen in my life. If one person showers, the others have no warm water. It just barely drips. The only way to have barely usable water pressure is to shower with cold water. (Photos attached). We alerted the host and nothing was done the whole stay. We got the keys to another house to shower on the last day. There the pressure was ok.
- Beds are firm, small and squeaky. I’m 6ft and my head and feet were touching the boards all the time.
- It was raining when we were there and the house had leaks and water spots on the roof and walls.
- The host will ask for extra payment to use the AC. Absolutely outrageous and unacceptable policy.

Property was not cleaned appropriately (bbq was revolting), not enough Propane supplied either. Air Conditioning unit in one room was not working and the receptionist refused to get this fixed over the 10 days we were staying. The showers were poorly maintained and again the receptionist failed to have these fixed until they were pestered multiple times. The view from the patio/pool area was superb however, the pool was clean (but again the receptionist was pestered to maintain this) and the layout of the house was as advertised. Unfortunately due to the poor service by staff we will not be returning again, the view alone was the star of the visit but not enough to save the property from the above failings.
