San Antonio Guest House in Xlendi

Amazing location! Right by the Sanap cliffs in Xlendi. Very homey and charming place with a lot of character. The employees are very accommodating and welcoming and they let us drop our bags before check in and even let us leave them at the hotel after we checked out, since we were still staying in Gozo all day. They also let us borrow an adaptor for the three days! Breakfast is good, but could use some variety. It would also be nice if there was some soap/shampoo in the shower. A truly splendid stay, we highly recommend 🌊☀️🏠

Cannot recommend this place enough. Lovely family run business in a beautiful and serene setting, with delicious breakfast included. We will definitely be back!

Great views and pools
This is not a 5-star establishment but there are two large pools and clean rooms. Breakfast is okayish…. Not very varied but genuine.

The property is very cosy, clean, quiet and close to the beach & beautiful views. Only thing is it's up a steep hill, not convenient if you have joint problems 😉 I loved Mary's apple & ginger jam and George's omelette👍. George & May are very welcoming and the transfer arrangements made from and to the airport were excellent 👌 and all went without a hitch.

Where do I start..? What a wonderful, relaxing holiday we have just had at San Antonio Guesthouse. Myself, my husband and our 7 year old daughter just had 7 of the best days and nights there. It’s basic but clean and comfortable, with solid WiFi should you need it. As there are limited rooms, you never struggle to secure somewhere to lie around either of the 2 great pools - our daughter swam like a mermaid every single day. The breakfasts are plentiful - granola, cereals, toast, yoghurts, fruit juice, water and, if you want, freshly cooked eggs. Maria is absolutely lovely, and both she and George couldn’t do enough to help us - including sorting taxis and providing us a packed breakfast as we had to leave early on our last day. In terms of location, it’s fabulous - though if you have mobility issues you might struggle. The property is at the top of a steep hill down to the bay, but it was fine for us as a young family. Xlendi Bay itself is small and perfectly formed, and you won’t struggle to find somewhere to eat. The little shop at the bottom of the main hill is run by a really great Serbian guy who was funny, kind and helpful - it literally sells everything, so stock up on water! There are also great Gelato places, which our daughter was thrilled at. Thanks Maria & George, we absolutely loved our time and we will 100% be returning in the future. Grateful for the lovely experience and how well you looked after us ☺️

Ray and I (Guylaine) stayed at San Antonio Guesthouse in June for a week. The location in Xliendi Bay was perfect! A few minutes from the beach, restaurants, bars and small supermarkets. George, Maria, Anna and Lim are a credit to San
Antonio, they are extremely helpful, polite and will go the extra mile for you always. Great old fashion service!
Every morning before breakfast they would greet us with a lovely
smile, a good morning and of course a little conversation prior
to taking our order for breakfast. We must recommend George's
famous omelette, or eggs done your way!
And whilst eating our breakfast we enjoyed the beautiful views from the breakfast room.

Enjoyable stay- nice, clean, peaceful, beautiful views, nice pools. Breakfast was nice with made to order eggs but could do with a bit more variety perhaps. No toiletries so be sure to bring your own!!

Excellent position and very helpful owners.
Well maintained and good pool

Lovely hotel. Family run and very friendly. During our stay it was very quiet. I’m guessing not many guests were there so going in and out of the hotel was quite eerie, especially Gozo being a small island and we went during low season. Pool was cleaned during our stay but sun loungers needed some love.

We have been there some time ago. After a very bad experience for one night in a holiday home we came to here and it has been wonderful. Family operated with very nice people and a superb breakfast. The pool size is absolutely okay and who would like to have some water, don’t complain, but go to the sea. We are still in contact with the family and I would like all best for the future.
