We had a very comfortable stay at the Osborne hotel. Convenient location both to explore Valletta, but also to get in and out of town.  Would also like to thank the very friendly staff in the bar and reception. Would stay again!

Great experience! The hotel is close to the city center and has a bus station nearby, making it easy to get to other cities. The breakfast is excellent with plenty of variety.

Classic Victorian-style hotel with a rich and varied breakfast, and spacious rooms. The staff were kind and helpful. However, our double bed had two single duvets pushed together; I would have preferred one large duvet. The bathroom also lacked a bidet. The location is a bit out of the way and uphill.

We had amazing stay in Ax the Victoria hotel. The room is big enough, hotel is incredibly clean and the location is nice. Everyone was so polite.

Absolutely charming hotel and staff. Great breakfast with lots of home made baking changing daily. Lovely surprise to get a welcome drink. We had the penthouse which was lovely - lots of space to relax and am amazing view. Oh and the location was perfect too. Highly recommended.

The location was good, but the room window faced the corridor, and the room could not be ventilated. The room was also dark and furnished with furniture from the 90s, which was nearing the end of its useful life. The TV was also on the small side.

Location for restaurants and shopping in Valletta was easily walking distance and easy access from Birk. Lift from fast ferry

What a fantastic small hotel in an amazing old building. The staff were all incredible! Lovely buffet breakfast, and always a bonus when there’s Prosecco included! Fantastic location with loads of great restaurants virtually on the doorstep. I would definitely revisit. We had room 101 which has a great little balcony with comfy chairs overlooking the atrium.

A beautiful hotel, built in the 1940s, in the great British colonial style, like the Raffles hotel in Singapore or the Victoria Falls Hotel in Zimbabwe. The interior is elegant. The service was remarkably warm, helpful and attentive. The overall experience was outstanding, even compared to other five star hotels.

I had a great experience at The Triton. Despite arriving late at night, everything was well prepared for my arrival, including the door access code and the room key. The location is excellent, close to everything, which made getting around very easy. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely return.

Cheap but the room smelled of curry, badly.

The check in process was smooth, the staffs are so helpful and friendly, room cleanness was good, they cleaned our room once (the second day, we stayed for 4 days) which was alright for us. Overall it was good There was a good selection for breakfast but the hot food was always cold. This was a really lovely hotel. The breakfast was buffet style, and everything was delicious, with a few different items offered each day. The staff were very kind, and they helped make my trip a comfortable and memorable one. While buses are the main mode of transport in Malta, the bus stop was only a few minutes' walk from the hotel, which was quite convenient.

Good value for money and a delicious breakfast. It was my boyfriend's birthday, and they even brought us a bottle of champagne to celebrate! The front desk staff were also very helpful.

This hotel room was very spacious and the bathroom was kept very clean. We had a lovely time here and all the staff were soo lovely and attentive. The swimming pool is very big and nice temperature. Would definitely return

The hotel towels were really old. I'm sure they were clean, but they were gray, not white! And the water wasn't bottled water! There was no toilet paper in the room, and the bathroom only had the cheapest kind. While the cleaning was done well, the consumables were either very old or of poor quality. Even the butter served at breakfast was margarine made from vegetable oil, not milk! And the oatmeal...

We really liked the hotel! The staff were always attentive and friendly. We just found the guests a bit noisy in the hallways. During the night, we woke up several times to noise—but nothing related to the hotel. Honestly, the only downside is the lack of parking. We had to park 1km away from the hotel after 45min of trying to park

This property was chosen for access to the airport. It was about 11 euros taxi ride, and very convenient. This is a working port town but a nice walk around the sea with a little beach. The hotel provides beach towels. We enjoyed the restaurant next door but there was one in the hotel and plenty of others surrounding the hotel. The balcony was unique. The room was spacious. The bed was uncomfortable. The shower screen was very rigid. The shower drain seemed a little clogged because water would gather in the tray. Breakfast menu was very limited. It would be very good to have some Halal food provisions too for breakfast so Muslim guests can also enjoy all the breakfast items on offer.

Short one night stay. I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing view from my room. The location is superb, right on the beach, very clean room, comfy bed. Highly recommend this hotel in Birzebbuga.

As usual I find the Topaz good value for money, I have been using the same hotel for over 10 years now. I find the staff to be very helpful and go the extra mile to access information and resolve issues.

The hotel is very clean and staff are very friendly. For older people like us in the 60's was a bit hard getting around because it's away from everything. The room was big and clean but kept getting issues with the bathroom everyday. We had water all over the floor and mentanance kept coming to fix it everyday. Hotel is fine. Location is central but not easily walkable — fine if you have a car. Rooms are somewhat basic but very spacious. Lovely pool. But WIFI is terrible. Door lock was a pain to open — had to keep playing around with the card a few times. Gym is a small room but useable.

An excellent four star hotel on the Harbour in Gozo easy for the ferry five minutes walk away and only 3 miles from Victoria in the centre of Gozo, the staff give the hotel more of a local feel rather than that of an international brand.

Conveniently located at the center of st Julian, 5 mins walk to the bus stop. The room was spacious and comfortable for a solo traveler like me. Nice reception staffs! A early check in was allowed without extra fee. I also left my luggage for free until the evening on my checkout day.

I recommend this hotel if you stay more than two weeks in Malta The location is good, all staff are kind. But breakfast is normal. My friend also stay here for two months during study English here. This hotel is close from some language schools such as EC, EF..

Hotel OK....Definitely needs a spruce up..Furniture looking pretty old and dated... Unfortunately they didn't mention the building work next door at the time of booking..and opposite is a dumping ground for the building work which is going on...

7 steps to reach the hotel lobby but guy at the desk was nice and helped me with my bags. At 74, I cannot carry heavy bags up/down steps. As I was there for only 7 hours to catch a flight home, not the best judge but staff was very nice. Malta is a happening town, even at 3:30am and the hotel is well located.

Cost Effective Stay The breakfast options were good. The accommodations were ok, the bathroom grouting was poor causing minor leakage. The television service was very spotty.

Great place to stay, fairly convenient location to access most places of interest, has an underground carpark free for guests. Only wishful for the hotel to provide self-service laundry.

Hotel Valentina offers excellent value for the price, with a great balance between affordability and what you actually get. It’s located right in the heart of the city, which makes it incredibly convenient. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and the housekeeping team is equally kind and attentive. The room was large with good amenities; fridge, kettle, bathtub, balcony, AC heater etc. The furniture was stylish with plenty of drawers and hanging space. The buffet breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice of hot and continental dishes. I had a double room at the back of the hotel away from the bay, quiet but WiFi was a little slow. For the price I would stay there again.

The room was large, but quite far from the elevator. There are many rooms on one floor. The balcony overlooks the harbor, and yachts for day trips dock right outside the door, which is very convenient, but reservations are required in advance. There are many restaurants nearby.

Spent six nights here at the Calypso in November. Great location with some fantastic walks along the shore road. Rooftop terrace with pool and the rooms with a seaview were the reason why I booked. Would stop again.

I was relieved after reading some of the negative reviews here; although there are signs of renovations I did not get disturbed at all and the room was relatively clean.
