We stayed here in September 2025. I was with a group of friends driving for a few days around. The guest house is well situated, a short block back from the seafront and near to all the dive shops and restaurants. Beautiful, extremely central ( the beach is a two minute walk), very welcoming and clean guesthouse. The room was nicely furnished with clean crisp sheets ,good quality mattress and pillows. Breakfast was well balanced with a good variety of fresh fruit, yogurt, cakes and breads. Sonia, the owner, was very welcoming and polite. Great value for money. Will surely return. Sonia and her team are fantastic. Everyone works really hard to ensure that you have an enjoyable stay. Breakfast is awesome with hot and cold options as well as fresh fruit and local pastries. The rooms are immaculate with room service everyday this was our second stay and we shall definitely return soon.

From the very cordial and helpful check-in, right up to the very welcoming and friendly attitude during breakfast, to the general cleanliness of the whole building and rooms. Absolutely fantastic guest house right in the centre of Marsalforn. Sonia, the hostess, is a wonderful, pleasant and caring person. Small touches that make a difference. The tables outside the bar are always dirty despite the many people working there. The room, however, was clean. Polite staff.

The hotel was very popular, and the breakfast was great – freshly baked bread and fried eggs, very fragrant and delicious. The staff were also very friendly! It's right next to tourist attractions, which is really great!

Me and my wife stood at the lantern guest house for 7 nights and the only thing to say about this it was absolutely wonderful. Joseph and his family are so helpful and friendly. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was okay. Shower was great and room good for my one night stay. The air-conditioning works with coins. I opened the balcony door and the window in the toilet, the cross breeze was enough for me to sleep.

Clean hotel Very clean and centrally located. One block away fomr the harbour lined with restaurants. Bus and groceries one block thr other way. Good breakfast too.

Very friendly and helpful in getting me checked in after very late arrival around 3am. Great location super close to beach, restaurants and bus stop. Comfortable and clean room. No major noise heard from nearby restaurants nor traffic going past in the road although I was on first floor and some noise from breakfast room does carry if you're looking for a lie in.

Malta accommodation is expensive and this room is no exception. Stone walls and floors cold on the feet , duvet too thick for comfortable sleeping, but a fridge & coffee making facilities were good. Main problem was trying to get hot water to wash or shower. Finally fixed on the day I left. No shops nearby and evening meals either meant going to another village or eating at only one or two places...

The location is strategically placed between the airport and Valletta, essentially there is NO easy street parking available. I relied on the bus, routes from Valletta serving the area include No. 81, 82, 84 & 88 journey time 20-25 minutes approximately every 15-20 minutes. A 5-10 minute walk from the respective bus stop. Check-in was welcoming, I was allocated Room 4, a single double bed with ensuite...

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were welcoming and gave excellent advice. The location is in a quiet residential area, away from high traffic and tourist areas.

Nice INN Shower is very tight and maid forgot to bring new set of towels the following day. Complimentary bottled water would have been nice too. Otherwise, it was a very nice inn conveniently located to a bus stop. Would stay again.

Nice guesthouse and really kind staff. Located in a good area, within walking distance to some restaurants, supermarket, bathing areas. To the next bus stop it's a 3 mins walk so that you can discover the whole island very easily by public transport. Had a comfy room with awesome view at the harbor of San Pawl. The breakfast was tasty :) Next time on Malta I would be happy to stay here again.

I wouldn't have given 5 stars, if it was more expensive. But you get a great value for the price. Very new accommodation, located at about 2 minutes walk from a bus stop. The included transfer from the airport is a very big plus, especially if you land at a late hour. Amazing location! Right by the Sanap cliffs in Xlendi. Very homey and charming place with a lot of character. The employees are very accommodating and welcoming and they let us drop our bags before check in and even let us leave them at the hotel after we checked out, since we were still staying in Gozo all day. Great views and pools This is not a 5-star establishment but there are two large pools and clean rooms. Breakfast is okayish…. Not very varied but genuine.

The property is very cosy, clean, quiet and close to the beach & beautiful views. Only thing is it's up a steep hill, not convenient if you have joint problems 😉 I loved Mary's apple & ginger jam and George's omelette👍. George & May are very welcoming and the transfer arrangements made from and to the airport were excellent 👌 and all went without a hitch.

Pretty average accommodation. The room we had, with the private bathroom, smelled pretty musty, and the whole place was pretty cold overall (we were there in December, but not even the AC helped heat it up). Even though they said (in the rulers of the place) that they'll come clean up the room only on Wednesday and only if you leave your door open, the lady went into our rooms without our knowledge...

A family owned and run guesthouse in the quaint village of Rabat, minutes away from the old capital Mdina and the greener more rural part of the island. Great as a launching pad for anyone looking at exploring the Northern bits of Malta too.

Can't be specific about the sizes of the rooms as price is a determining factor here. But will definitely say they are clean, equipped and comfortable. This little hotel is a gem. Its off the beaten track but was so close to public transport it wasnt an issue. The hotel was very traditional, it was so quaint. There's no mini fridge. The bar is not very busy (after 8:30 PM, only coffee and water are served).

The deluxe double room has a toilet and shower room separated from the bedroom, which is quite good. But it is a little smaller than the classic double room, and there is only one large bed, not two small beds. Overall, if you don't want to go to the streets and alleys of Valletta, it is still convenient to stay here. Because the main attractions in Malta, such as the prehistoric temples, are difficult...

I liked the hotel. It is conveniently located, close to bus stops and shops. The beach is a leisurely 10-minute walk away.

The location of the hostel is very weird, it is located deep inside a residential area. However, for the price, the room is spacious and relatively clean.

Nice and kind service. Got everything I asked for. Quiet place close by to the bezach and water. Bus stops to/from airport (line X2) just around the corner. You can go at any destination from „Ross” bus stop( capitol, ferry to gozo etc). The same with pubs and restaurants if you need to grab something to eat and go (lots of places just around the corner).Close to Scooty’s supermarket.

Clean, comfortable enough, and had a working mini-fridge. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Not particularly cosy, but if you're just looking for a place to sleep and not a fancy romantic getaway, it's a good choice.

After a long trip we stayed in this wonderful place. Absolutely gorgeous. New furniture, well designed. We had all we needed. Besides the location is great, parking places available . Our balcony was with nice sea view. All was just perfect.

Our stay at Electra Guesthouse was just perfect! We had a double room with a private bathroom and balcony overlooking the ocean. To our delight, towels were refreshed and our room was cleaned spotless daily. Considering the prices of other accommodation we stayed at in Europe - this was by far the best value for money and an absolute bargain. The reason for this star rating is because the Manager was amazing and so was the room... Has for the Service received for Breakfast no Stars... No Menu was offered , Waiter had Bad Attitude, Breakfast not even that edible... Would I stay there again No Ways

A decent stay.. Nice accommodating staff..break fast included in the bill and its worth .. you need to carry coins for A/c ( i am not sure all rooms followe the same system) if you are person with walking difficulties ask before you book only thing lacking a lift

Only had meals there and the breakfast was very good. The chef obliged when we asked for something off the menu ... smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. Yum. Had their pizza one evening and wouldn't write home about it.
