St. Pauls Bay, 186 Dawret Il - Qawra, San Pawl il-Baħar 🧭 Map
Downstairs there is a family pool with 2 slides. Perfect for families with children. On the top floor you have 2 pools and jaccuzi's overlooking the sea. Both breakfast and afternoon/evening buffet are super delicious
The food, rooms, facilities? 100%
Great service and hotel was very nice
There is plenty of choice so there is something for everyone. Afternoon/evening also some things are changed all the time so you keep having enough variety. The quality/taste of the food is higher than at other hotels
The room was well-equipped and clean. The breakfast was average, and the spa area is far too small for such a large hotel
We found not only visible mold and dirt on the grout and damaged shower seals, but what's worse, one of the glasses in the bathroom had a visible lipstick stain from a previous guest
One of the best part of the trip. You can spend the whole day just staying in the hotel because it has everything. Waterbiscuit restaurant serves amazing food (though desserts is the weak point)
A special thank you to Sopo in the Opal Lounge, always professional and attentive, and she remembered my preferred table and cappuccino each morning
We especially loved the incredible breakfast on the seventh floor, as well as both the indoor and outdoor swimming pools, which were fantastic for both relaxation and family fun
Special thanks also to Anamika in reservations for making everything run smoothly. It’s the kind of service that makes returning feel like the natural choice
Our original room was on the noisier side, and the team happily moved us to a quieter garden view room on a higher floor for a small additional fee
Breakfast was included and served daily in the Opal Lounge, which made mornings especially relaxing
The location is great, right by the sea. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, and the overall environment was clean and tidy. The breakfast offered a good variety of options
I really liked the hotel, the food was delicious and varied! I liked the a la carte restaurants and the live music in the evening! I really liked the restaurant with delicious desserts! Very friendly staff!
A regular to Double Trees staying there said it was the best he had stayed in. We only had the breakfast option but it was very varied and tasty and you could sit outside on the terrace, weather permitting
Breakfast: One of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had. Kids’ Facilities: There is a kids’ room where my 4-year-old could play with a staff member, so I was able to enjoy some free time
Location: There is a beach right in front of the hotel, and it is also close to a small bus terminal. Room: Spacious enough for me to stay comfortably with my son
Unfortunately Bugibba the resort is undergoing a lot of construction so it’s not great as at March 2026 but I am sure it will be finished (the streets) soon
The accommodation is located across the road but along the seafront and walking path. A small number of people were swimming- this being January after all
Public buses stopped about 1 block away serving all parts of the island. Should I travel here again, I would be strongly tempted to make this area my base. The public bus system is excellent and very reasonably priced
I was impressed with the accommodation and the price point that I paid. The breakfast was included and it was excellent. The smaller Caffe Royale suited the more modest budget that is my travel style
I am a senior with somewhat limited mobility and I generally found the buses had sufficient seats available for limited mobility persons
To sum up, this area and this accommodation would be on my itinerary when I return to Malta
Place deserves to be a 5 star, honestly the best reception I've had at a hotel, as we got to the hotel we were welcomed politely and the receptionist gave all details about the hotel and was easy to understand
The food was great in the all inclusive buffets and the pools and games room were great. Housekeeping were very on top of everything aswell
We definitely plan to return!
Also, a big compliment to Manisha and her team who cleaned our room daily, they did an excellent job and made our stay even more comfortable! The hotel is very clean throughout
We truly enjoyed exploring different cuisines and being able to sample a little bit of everything. The hotel also boasted multiple pools, ensuring that there was something for everyone
The hotel is great!
The food could be better, there was a lot of cumin in many dishes, but overall it was good and we enjoyed it. We had a wonderful time at Jungle Restaurant
Everything is always fresh, and the staff are helpful, kind, and always smiling. The hotel also offers an indoor pool, saunas, and bowling, providing plenty of activities even during the winter season
The food was good and the staff team, including Jonathan, Prativa, Leon and Ram, was amazing
Amazing hotel!
Despite being a relatively large hotel, the atmosphere feels very personal, warm, and friendly thanks to the excellent and welcoming staff

What I'll remember most is the unparalleled sea view; I could embrace the blue sea and sky right from my bed, with the romance of the Mediterranean unfolding before my eyes
Staff were able to find a lost item which they dealt with very well. Room was very clean and comfortable and facing the sea, waking up to sunrise every morning. Service was excellent all throughout
I highly recommend the Hilton Malta; I fell in love with it after just one stay! The buffet was incredibly diverse, almost overwhelming, with everything from international dishes to local delicacies – every bite was a delight
The hotel's hygiene is top-notch; everywhere was spotless and refreshing, making my stay feel incredibly reassuring. The service was an added bonus; the staff were friendly and proactive, making me feel truly welcome
Also, the sea view from the family room is angled rather than a direct, front-facing view. The facilities are fairly standard, but the ice machine experience was terrible
The location is unbeatable, offering stunning sea views and easy access to beaches and local attractions. The rooms are spacious, modern, and impeccably clean. I highly recommend this hotel for a fantastic stay in Malta!
Perfect for a fun night out with the girls! 💃✨
The weather in October was just ideal — not too hot, not too cool, just perfect for chilling by the sea and exploring ☀️🌤️
A flawless hotel. Really top notch in ever way. Service, Rooms, Facilities were brilliant. I had a lovely stay here and would definitely come back again.
There are two balconies, and the sea view is unbeatable (see video). Since it was winter, the seaside facilities weren't open, and the pool was under maintenance, which was a bit of a shame
Rooms, both garden and sea view, were very comfortable, clean and spacious. My elderly parents loved the hotel and the high quality 13m indoor pool/sauna/steam/jacuzzi
It's definitely worth staying here when you visit! Both the elderly and the children were very happy, and the sea-facing room had a beautiful view
The room offered an unbeatable sea view, and the breakfast was plentiful. The room itself was spacious. Excellent.
Breakfast was average and they don’t have a coffee machine but bring jugs of coffee to the table, bit strange. Alohonso was concierge was super friendly
Beautiful hotel: location is perfect (very close to the main street where activities occur). The view from out room was nice. Service is great.
Our suite was so spacious and comfortable that we sometimes preferred staying in and relaxing over going out
And the food at the hotel restaurant was so good that, even though we usually enjoy eating out, we often chose to dine in. Overall, we warmly recommend this hotel
Bed frame peeling 😩
If you go for a swim in the pool there are no showering facilities or changing rooms prepare to pay €15 to use them along with the small sauna or walk back to your room with wet swimming costume
We stayed one week at the hotel Excelsior at the end of November, and I have no words to express my gratitude to everyone who made our stay such a wonderful experience! From the reception team, the young, tall doorman who always paid special attention to our 3-year old boy, the cleaning staff, to the restaurant crew — everyone was welcoming, helpful, and genuinely polite
Best in St Paul’s!
Lovely hotel with the best sea views!
Plenty to do on- site, including a well equipped gym and spa.
Friendly staff. Great food and nice hotel
Very much recommended
Super stay, enjoyed, would stay again
Consider booking both outward and return taxi journeys through the hotel: handier than buses on an island with numerous traffic issues, and a more reliable vehicle quality than you get from some taxi ranks, especially Valletta
Kabiraj was excellent! He attended to our every need. Highly recommend the AI+ upgrade. Nice, clean, quiet separate lounge. All staff professional and experienced. Thank you for a wonderful Christmas stay!
Facilites, food choices . Amazing staff
Atmosphere
Poor night entertainment found a bit boring, I believe the entertainment could be more interactive with guests and have a theme for each night.
The room ended up being sea view, corner suite with a whole living area and fully equipped kitchen and dining room as well! A little box of welcome chocolates with a card signed by the hotel manager was the absolute cherry on the cake
One warning I would give to people used to sleeping on a hard surface - ask to receive a harder mattress if available because the beds by default seem to be extremely soft and I mostly slept on the pull out couch instead
We had a most remarkable experience at Radisson Blu Golden Bay over the weekend. The service, the comfort, the luxury, it was absolutely incredible. From the moment we checked in, we were treated to a VIP experience
There was room service but we went to the restaurant instead. The hotel has an Italian, an Indian, a buffet style restaurant and a lounge bar. The pizzas we ordered at the Italian restaurant was really good
They generously gave us sandwiches, yogurts, drinks, cereal bars and lots of fresh fruits. The hotel has an indoor and outdoor pool, we went to both but it was very cold outside for this time of the year
We had a wonderful family stay at the Radisson Blu Golden Sands in Malta. The facilities are of a very high standard and everything is kept immaculate, making our stay comfortable and relaxing

Excellent stay! The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and well-located. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options
Location is good too - right in the hub of St Julian's, not too noisy either and maid service everyday (thanks for folding my PJs every day!!)
Everything was great. There was no issues. Staff were nice and helpful
Everything was perfect, a hotel with all the essentials.
I love this place. Best hotel in Saint Julian’s. Lovely staff. Big rooms. Great rooftop pool with bar. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Highly recommended for both business and leisure stays!
Our room was particularly remarkable: the largest room with six beds, even though we had booked for four
Went for a few days room only as good selection of nearby cafes, supermarkets and restaurants plus good bus network across the island a short walk away
Basic but clean twin bedded accommodation with kettle and cups (but bring or buy your own tea/coffee/sugar and water) as Maltese hotel tap water not the best for drinking and bottled water fairly cheap and plentiful
As usual I find the Topaz good value for money, I have been using the same hotel for over 10 years now. I find the staff to be very helpful and go the extra mile to access information and resolve issues.
The room was well-equipped with modern amenities including a TV, air conditioning, a safe, a refrigerator, an electric kettle, hangers, a toilet, and fresh towels
In past years, this hotel used to accommodate unruly foreign students but I understand this is no longer the norm so much quieter
The complex felt very festive over Christmas, which added to the atmosphere. The location was great for us. Scenic, close to the sea, and in a quieter part of Malta, which is exactly what we were looking for
Fantastic hotel. Great location. Beautiful beach. Easy to get to other beaches in the area and over to Gozo on the ferry. Lovely restaurants in the area. Mellieha village is up the hill,it's very beautiful and historic.
We stayed at the Luna Holiday Complex over Christmas and had a pleasant overall experience. We were self-catering, so I can’t comment much on the food, although we did order a pizza once and it was very nice
There was quite a bit of renovation work going on during our stay, and unfortunately the rooftop pool was closed. I had been really looking forward to using it, so that was a bit disappointing
However, the downstairs family pool was open and we made good use of that. Our apartment was spacious, comfortable, and well maintained, with regular housekeeping throughout our stay
Did not have food but looked ok from what we saw. Staff excellent
There is Mini market on site which was good and reasonably priced for everything you need
St Julians, Bay Street Tourist Complex, St. George's Bay, San Giljan, STJ 3311 Sent-Dzhulians, Malta 🧭 Map
The location is great, close to the beach and restaurants. The breakfast was tasty and with lots of variety. The only downside is the proximity to bars and nightclubs, which can get quite loud at night.
Beautiful hotel, conveniently located close to the beach. Lovely area and hotel staff are providing excellent service .
Parking is not very convenient, as it's located in a very central area, but it's a bit noisy.
one of the cleanest hotels i’ve ever stayed in, beautiful hotel with stunning views ,our rooms were spotless and the staff were so kind and attentive, extremely high level of customer service, sabita at the front desk was really helpful, everything was so quick and easy
Priyanka the receptionist was of great help to any questions we asked. Our room (Seaview) was spacious and clean. The indoor heated pool is very nice and relaxing
would 100% recommend staying here to anyone visiting malta. We also took a pilates class with Linda and loved it, the hotel offers many classes every day and i would highly recommend trying one
I can’t express enough how amazing the staff are in this hotel, very pleasant experience! we bought water bottles at the reception and there is machines to fill your water all around the hotel
It was not our first time at the Riviera Spa Resort Adults Only and definitely not our last. The staff is very helpful and always a service with a smile
The breakfast and dinner buffets have a large variety of good food
Breakfast is simple but sufficient: yogurt, fruits and juices are provided in the room, which is very convenient. During the season, there is a rooftop pool, which is very atmospheric and offers a nice view
The hotel left a very positive impression. The location is excellent, close to the sea and the promenade with many restaurants. The room was clean and had everything we needed
This was our first time in Malta and this hotel was perfect for our needs! The rooms were spacious and ours had a balcony overlooking the garden pool, everyday we found a sun lounger to use, the rooftop pool was usually much busier! Reception staff are lovely, luggage storage was perfect, huge breakfast spread which filled us up well
The staff was exceptionally kind and always available to help with anything we needed. The location is great, with plenty of restaurants nearby and convenient bus stops within walking distance
We would definitely recommend it!

Overall, a great place for a relaxing stay. We would definitely recommend it! ?
Great property with very friendly staff. Room amenities are more than sufficient for a short stay and plenty of great restaurants right across the road too
Fantastic hotel, got upgraded from economy room to a suite which was lovely with a balcony overlooking the sea
We found the Preluna ,a great base, for catching transport to see around the Island, it was our first time, our stay was too brief, will plan it better for our next visit, to maximise our chance to appreciate what this wonderful country has to offer
Breakfast was faultless, an amazing range to choose from, great selection of juices, water & hot drinks. We also tried the theme night evening meals( Italian & Mediterranean), €24 was great value for money
Welcome was excellent, our flight arrived late, so never got checked in until 1am. Our room was stunning, didn't realise our agent had booked us a balcony too
Hotel staff, friendly, helpful & supportive, I cannot praise or Thank them enough for making our stay a pleasure
Excellent both for stays within the hotel and also just to pop over for lunch or dinner. Superb quality and service
Overall it was good There was a good selection for breakfast but the hot food was always cold
Spa facilities were good but on the day we are the jacuzzi didn’t appear to working on subsequent days some groups seem to stay in the jacuzzi for long periods of time even though it stated it should be used for 15 minutes when we brought this to staff attention nothing was done on our last morning there was constant drilling noise from early in morning not what you expect in a 5 star hotel
Good value for money and a delicious breakfast. It was my boyfriend's birthday, and they even brought us a bottle of champagne to celebrate! The front desk staff were also very helpful.
The staff were very kind, and they helped make my trip a comfortable and memorable one
Excellent location and delicious breakfast.
Would definitely stay here again
Malta is a very special place in the world for me. This hotel is perfectly situated on the very edge of the shore, in the face of the ultimate blue Mediterranean sea.
The view is currently unbeatable; the balcony is spacious with a panoramic view of the vast Mediterranean Sea, and the bedding is very comfortable with soft pillows. The indoor swimming pool is especially cozy and warm.
The sea view is nice, but that's all. The price is 200 euros a night, the room is average, the breakfast is generally okay but not very tasty and messy
The place was well located, the staff was friendly and helpful, the view was amazing. Great place to stay
Waitress Veronica looked after us very well during breakfast. Luckily we are both fairly fit and mobile, but we did hear a few older guests commenting about the hill and distance from the centre and bus stops
Very good view, got a free upgrade to next room category.
Need more choice of food especially in the bar for sandwiches or snacks .
Perfect mix of relax and fun thanks to the animation provided by the strutture. Special thanks to Rajan, one of the barmans, he is a lovely person. If you are going to stay here , you have to try his Capo spritz
Thanks Paradise and thanks Rajan for everything
Excellent , I will come again.
All good, from the food to rooms. It’s located in the northern part of Malta, it’s very suitable for couples and families, you’re away from the noise of Saint Julian but you can reach it in about 40 minutes with the bus
