The accommodation was clean (new clean towels every day), and the shower was excellent with strong water pressure. The beds were comfortable, perfect for relaxing after long days of exploring the islands. Our room had two balconies. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, making check-in smooth and welcoming.
There is a laundry service nearby at a great price (12 euros for washing and drying), and the neighborhood is full of convenience stores, restaurants, bars, and souvenir shops. The location is also ideal, very close to bus stops.
It’s possible to leave your luggage after check-out or drop it off before check-in, which is very convenient.
Overall, we recommend this accommodation.
They’ve clearly made great improvements, so don’t mind the old reviews ☺️

We were a group of 6 friends, we had a terrible time since they had calculated us as if we were 4. As soon as we entered we found a stain thinking it was stained but once the floor was washed it was dirty. The air conditioning worked only for 2 days after which we were told to pay for it even though nothing was written on the site.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at Vela Blu Boutique Suites accommodation, and it was nothing short of a horror show. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the sight of cockroaches—both big ones and small ones—scurrying across the floors. It was absolutely revolting and set the tone for the rest of my stay.
The cleanliness of the place was abysmal. There was mold in the bathroom, which not only smelled terrible but also posed a serious health hazard. The entire place felt dirty and neglected, with dust and grime in every corner.
I cannot stress enough how important cleanliness is for any accommodation, and this place failed miserably. It was clear that the host had not taken the necessary steps to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for guests.
I do not recommend staying here at all. Save yourself the trouble and find a place that prioritizes hygiene and cleanliness. This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a host and accommodation.

It was really nice & clean. The location is amazing. Close to pools, sea etc and the room was very beautiful ! I’ll recommend

Hi I came from the Czech Republic with a friend to Malta. Our experience with this hotel is show-stopping. There were cockroaches in the room, dirty towels, moldy bathroom walls, and a non-functioning TV. We had to leave the room and find new accommodation. My worst apartment ever. Please be careful, I don't recommend it.

Not a bad little apartment, clean and in a good area. Only issue is the building work right outside the property! Banging and drilling starts at 7Am.

The room is fairly clean and small, but the real problem is in the mattress, which I think dates back to the First World War given how uncomfortable it was.
In short, for those who want to relax and enjoy a holiday it is not advisable, since you can not even rest, indeed you would come home tired and with your back in pieces.
As if that wasn't enough, the property doesn't give a damn and no one is willing to fix the situation.
Hot water coming and going, so the shower service is also inefficient.
Those who pay for a room should find the comforts they paid for instead find this!

Room was damp with mould on the walls, even with airing damp smell was there. Room was not clean, there were dirt marks on curtains, bathroom walls and shower did not drain. Shower pressure also did not always work with no warm water, or water coming out. Was not worth the price we paid.

You feel welcome since the hosts are very friendly. Even though the single room turns out to be a bit small, it was nicely designed and well equipped. The rooms are cleaned on a daily basis.

Excellent Location in a quiet street near all the amenities, on-street parking was available at all times nearby, great hosts, brand new high quality rooms with everything necessary, very highly recommend! The whole place was exceptionally clean!
