We stayed for 5 days in a triple room, which is very small, the terrace was also small with only one chair and space for one person. Breakfast was ok, a variety of dishes. As usual I find the Topaz good value for money, I have been using the same hotel for over 10 years now. I find the staff to be very helpful and go the extra mile to access information and resolve issues.

The hotel is very clean and staff are very friendly. For older people like us in the 60's was a bit hard getting around because it's away from everything. I thought I had booked another hotel..This was absolutely shocking 😲..I had asked for a room with walk in shower which I didn't get till the next morning...The window didn't close in the bathroom either... I was moved the next morning but it' wasn't a great place..they were decorating some of the tools jut it's not for me....I have to say the staff were very good...I asked for a kettle and hair dryer...

Harry the bar man in the hotel pub “molly Malone’s” is a star he’s great company and nothing is to much trouble, we enjoyed the atmosphere in mollys but the lighting from the at is poor so you actually have to look for it even though it’s by the hotel, needs some TLC from the at but good cracic and has pool, sports on to and food.

I had a great experience at The Triton. Despite arriving late at night, everything was well prepared for my arrival, including the door access code and the room key. The location is excellent, close to everything, which made getting around very easy. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely return.

Cheap but the room smelled of curry, badly.

The check in process was smooth, the staffs are so helpful and friendly, room cleanness was good, they cleaned our room once (the second day, we stayed for 4 days) which was alright for us. The hotel towels were really old. I'm sure they were clean, but they were gray, not white! And the water wasn't bottled water! There was no toilet paper in the room, and the bathroom only had the cheapest kind. While the cleaning was done well, the consumables were either very old or of poor quality. We really liked the hotel! The staff were always attentive and friendly. We just found the guests a bit noisy in the hallways. During the night, we woke up several times to noise—but nothing related to the hotel. Honestly, the only downside is the lack of parking. Not as bad as some of the reviews, I read, our room, overlooking the pool was lovely, brand new mattresses and pillows. Bathroom was very clean, hairdryer didn't work. This hotel is located in the Paceville area, so it attracts a lot of young people looking to party. This means they can be a bit noisy at times. The hotel has a rooftop pool. Our flight was very early, and we asked if they could prepare a breakfast to go for us, which they did. They were very kind and accommodating.

Overall very good experience. The room was much more than I expected for the price and it was very comfortable. The location is great, since the hotel looks towards the sea which is so pretty. Maybe the only downsides was that at times the breakfast area as well as the elevator were a bit crowded, but other than that all was perfect.

I’m had a single room with balcony and sea view booked.  The location was great - Valetta a bus journey away as was Mdina and Rabat.  Bus service is excellent. The room was adequate for me.  However the noise from the road and downstairs bar was not good.  Glass doors ineffective for noise screening.had to buy earplugs.  Also the cleaning was sporadic and I had to ask everyday for my room to be cleaned...

The hotel doesn't look like in the photos. All pictures should be updated. Rooms are very, very old stylish, should renovated.  Furniture should be replaced. The rooms were ok for a 3 star hotel. The pool and sauna were working, the pool is small for the number of guests, but again, the hotel has 3 stars. The view from the roof of the hotel is phenomenal. They take a deposit of 150e so be prepared for that. We did not see anywhere on the website that it says about a deposit. The staff is ok, they change towels every day.

Excellent location, very friendly staff.The single room had no natural light , so is like a cave .It does say on web site, it has no window, but the reality was very claustrophobic. I only stayed the one night , so just used the room to sleep in.

Amazing location and friendly staff. The room is small but comfortable. It’s an old hotel that feels run down. The rooms feel dated and tired and the place has seen better days but it’s comfortable for a short stay. The main issue is the thin walls. You can hear everything from next door and the halls so definitely don’t stay here if you’re a light sleeper.

The condition of the rooms arent the best as in it doesnt look the cleanest but perhaps it is because the hotel is quite old/outdated, but it definitely does the job when you need a place to rest. The location is really great and the staff are super nice and helpful!
