We stayed for 5 days in a triple room, which is very small, the terrace was also small with only one chair and space for one person. Breakfast was ok, a variety of dishes. The hotel also has a swimming pool, which we didn't use. We had a problem with the toilet flushing, so we had to use a shower hose. The hotel is in a great location in St. Julians. I thought I had booked another hotel..This was absolutely shocking 😲..I had asked for a room with walk in shower which I didn't get till the next morning...The window didn't close in the bathroom either... Harry the bar man in the hotel pub “molly Malone’s” is a star he’s great company and nothing is to much trouble, we enjoyed the atmosphere in mollys but the lighting from the at is poor so you actually have to look for it even though it’s by the hotel, needs some TLC from the at but good cracic and has pool, sports on to and food.

As usual I find the Topaz good value for money, I have been using the same hotel for over 10 years now. I find the staff to be very helpful and go the extra mile to access information and resolve issues.

The hotel is very clean and staff are very friendly. For older people like us in the 60's was a bit hard getting around because it's away from everything. The room was big and clean but kept getting issues with the bathroom everyday. We had water all over the floor and mentanance kept coming to fix it everyday. There was a well-equipped kitchen, a small balcony, two single beds, a bathroom with a shower, and a TV with a sofa. So everything was great!

I had a great experience at The Triton. Despite arriving late at night, everything was well prepared for my arrival, including the door access code and the room key. Not as bad as some of the reviews, I read, our room, overlooking the pool was lovely, brand new mattresses and pillows. Bathroom was very clean, hairdryer didn't work. Overall very good experience. The room was much more than I expected for the price and it was very comfortable. The location is great, since the hotel looks towards the sea which is so pretty. Maybe the only downsides was that at times the breakfast area as well as the elevator were a bit crowded, but other than that all was perfect.

I’m had a single room with balcony and sea view booked.  The location was great - Valetta a bus journey away as was Mdina and Rabat.  Bus service is excellent. The room was adequate for me.  However the noise from the road and downstairs bar was not good.  Glass doors ineffective for noise screening.had to buy earplugs.  Also the cleaning was sporadic and I had to ask everyday for my room to be cleaned...

I had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel during a business trip with my colleagues. Excellent location, very friendly staff.The single room had no natural light , so is like a cave .It does say on web site, it has no window, but the reality was very claustrophobic. I only stayed the one night , so just used the room to sleep in.

Amazing location and friendly staff. The room is small but comfortable. It’s an old hotel that feels run down. The rooms feel dated and tired and the place has seen better days but it’s comfortable for a short stay. The main issue is the thin walls. You can hear everything from next door and the halls so definitely don’t stay here if you’re a light sleeper.

A nice little hotel. Ultra clean, friendly staff, and relatively quieter than youd expect from the location. You will just need to bring shower gel, hand soap and whatever else as they dont provide them; and the garden would be quite nice if it was nicely cared for. If we were to come back to Paceville (probably wont) we would be happy to stay there again.

Based on the reviews, I didn't expect much, but the location is excellent, and the rooms and cleanliness are great too.

Honestly can’t fault this place. Very good location and I got a beautiful view as kindly requested from my room. The decor is a bit worn however but for the price you can’t complain. This is paceville so expect to hear music in the night but it was perfect for me as I was right next to the strip. Doors are locked at night for safety.
