This is one of the top-rated resorts on the island, and the environment is excellent. We stayed during the Chinese New Year, and the front desk even upgraded our room! This was a really lovely hotel. The breakfast was buffet style, and everything was delicious, with a few different items offered each day. While buses are the main mode of transport in Malta, the bus stop was only a few minutes' walk from the hotel, which was quite convenient.

There is hardly a better location in Sliema. The shopping mall is just 100 m away and the ferry is 5 minutes away. We had a room with a sea view on the 9th floor - the best view you could wish for. A beautiful hotel, built in the 1940s, in the great British colonial style, like the Raffles hotel in Singapore or the Victoria Falls Hotel in Zimbabwe. The interior is elegant. The service was remarkably warm, helpful and attentive. The overall experience was outstanding, even compared to other five star hotels.
