Nice hotel with very friendly personel. My room was spacious and clean but facing the wall and therefore dark at all times, it was also hard to get fresh air in. Breakfast good but could be better. Pool and sauna areas are very poor, very small and not really mantained good. When I tried to use sauna the floor was flooded from shower and there is nowhere you can sit/lie down/put your belongings.

The hotel is about 200 meters from the bus stop, with plenty of restaurants downstairs, and a bar across the street that always has a long queue to get in. The hotel faces the sea with a great view and has a rooftop pool. The rooms are very soundproofed, with almost no street noise. The only downside is the poor quality toilet paper; they could replace it.

Malta is a very special place in the world for me. This hotel is perfectly situated on the very edge of the shore, in the face of the ultimate blue Mediterranean sea.

We booked a trip with 4 friends, but the room is a bit small and old, not like a 5-star hotel, should be 3 stars. My pillow has blood stains, I told the cleaning staff, but they didn't change the pillowcases for me. But the location is good, private beach, breakfast is ok to some extent, quite impressed.

Great location. Food was OK if you are here for a day. They haven't changed the breakfast menu not once in the week I was here. It is ridiculous to say they have "spa and sauna". The room is clean and with a great view. The breakfast is very good with friendly chefs making any eggs you want. You have to be early to the pool to get a spot if you’re a friend group or a family. Hotel Valentina offers excellent value for the price, with a great balance between affordability and what you actually get. It’s located right in the heart of the city, which makes it incredibly convenient. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and the housekeeping team is equally kind and attentive. Clean and tidy, but the bathroom is a little small, only one square meter. There is a new building next door, and the renovations are from 7 am to 8 pm every day, which is a bit noisy. I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival as the hotel shared its amenities with a five-star hotel next door, so practically you’re getting five-star amenities for a four-star hotel price! I forgot to bring my swim shorts but even in December the rooftop pool was heated which would’ve been a very nice addition to my stay

The location is a little hard to find, but the service is very good, the price is affordable, and I was lucky to be upgraded to a superior suite. Although the room has a little problem with sound insulation, it was quickly resolved.

The location was great, in Sliema, so it was great for shopping, going to the beach, and going to cafes. The only thing we regret is that we caught a cold and had to stay in bed, so we couldn't go to the gym or spa that we had prepared for us.

Sleima and itis next to sea front

Hydra spa is relaxing. There are two pools one in a garden setting and one by the sea - each have their own charm.

This is not 4 star. we have been going to Malta for the last 10 years and this is the worst hotel we have stayed in. Apparently they are closing it next year according to the holiday rep and this would make sense as the rooms needed updating and the food needs improving. The front of house staff were not very friendly. The location is lovely and the cleaning staff were brilliant.

The place is closing soon for a major and much needed refurbishment. Let's hope it returns as one of the best hotels in Malta when it re-opens in 2020.
